This was by far the worst service I have ever experienced in my life!! I came in with a large group for an 80th birthday celebration. We arrived around 430pm, to an almost empty restaurant expecting to have a nice dinner. Inside is nice, and appears clean until you go into the bathroom... again, it was no later than 5pm when I went into the men's room, inside was FILTHY! (please look at my picture). Garbage over flowing, water and dirt on the floor - it was obviously not cleaned from the previous day because at this time Lombardo's was nearly empty. From the moment we sat down we were ignored... our group of approximately 10 people sat down for at least 20-25 minutes before we were even greeted with bread and asked for our drink orders. Our server Luis was terrible! No personality and spent most of his time flirting with other wait staff rather then taking our order. We eventually got apps, after flagging Luis down. Food was actually good - the service just ruined everything. Again, Luis failed to take our dinner orders once apps arrived. They were all finished before we once again had to ask another waiter to send Luis to the table to take dinner orders. I had the veil sorrentino (very good). Several minutes into our meal the bill was dropped... we never asked for it, since we wanted desert for the birthday we were celebrating. We attempted to break up the staffs "flirting time" but were ignored. Finally we asked our bus boy to send our waiter over. We eventually got desert but no updated bill. In anger we all decided to say screw it, and pay the original bill we were presented (which did not have the deserts on them) since we were obviously not important enough to be tended to. Amazingly once our money came out we started to get Luis' attention. He ran over to tell us the bill needed to be amended... (obviously looking for his tip). Overall, we left frustrated after this visit - all agreeing that we will never return! After coming at 430 we finally left 3 and a half hours later... Worst service experience I have ever had! I do NOT recommend anyone coming here! read more

You can come here for a great happy hour at the bar with a knowledgeable mixologist, eat in the big room with an intimate party, or bring your family in the smaller room. We generally do takeout but tonight dined in with 2 small kids and 4 adults. The waitress was patient, attentive and able to answer all my questions about the preparation of the food since I have lots of food allergies. We ordered a cheese pizza pie for the table to start. Great flavor in the sauce, bread, and cheese!! For dinner my husband had veal parm, which came with a very generous side pasta and was stuffed. The side pasta had lots of flavor not like other places who have a watery tomato sauce. Lombardo's makes a great sauce! I had the pesto (no nuts) fusilli pasta with chicken. I'm in this neighborhood frequently but never eat around here. I needed to find a place close to a meeting for a relatively quick lunch and Lombardo's came up as only a mile away. Italian. Done. Let's go. We were seated quickly and there was already a pile of delicious, warm bread on the table. Service was really friendly, the atmosphere was lively and the food was excellent! Two of the folks at the table were from out of town and they demolished their fettuccine alfredo and bolognese dishes. The other alfredo dish was also raved about and I kept it simple with just a nice bowl of chicken noodle soup. I have been sick this week and my stomach couldn't possibly handle anything heavier than some Jewish penicillin. The soup was perfect - exactly what I needed and I ate quite a lot of the bread from the aforementioned basket. I will definitely come back to Lombardo's in the future if I need to host a work lunch again. read more

If you decide to go to Lombardos, be aware that the night hostess is rude and vengeful and should not be working in any customer service industry. Lombardos is divided by a wall into two areas. One side is a bustling restaurant with a nice bar, a large flat-screen TV, and a decent vibe. The other side is a dressed-up pizzeria with a full view of the industrial pizza ovens and busy takeout counter, with none of the ambiance of the other side. It's where they often sit people with young children and babies. On a busy Friday night, my family of five, with no young children or babies, went to the restaurant without a reservation, prepared to wait for a table. The hostess informed us there was a 20-ish minute wait, then a few minutes later offered us the only empty table, located on the no-ambiance side and directly in front of the takeout pizza counter, cash register, and waiting area. We politely declined and asked to wait for a table on the other side because, we explained, it was my birthday. The hostess said okay, that was fine. About ten minutes later, a table for five or six opened up in the "ambiance" area as well as a table for two. Instead of seating us (there were no other parties of that size waiting), the hostess sat a couple in the corner part of the large table, leaving the rest of that table and the table for 2 empty. She said those people had a reservation and wanted to sit in that corner. A few minutes later, another appropriately sized table opened up, also in the nicer area. She again refused to seat us and left that table completely open, telling us that we had been offered a table, rejected it, and we had no reservation. At that point, it was clear she had no intention of seating us at all. Needless to say, we left. And, because of the hostess' behavior, we've taken our years of business and support for the restaurant with us. We've eaten at Lombardos since our children were little, when we routinely, happily sat in the "pizzeria" area. As my children grew, we continued to eat there, even during COVID, supporting the place when most of their tables were empty. We also regularly placed take-out orders. But the treatment we received tonight was unacceptable, unprofessional, and downright rude. If, from the start, it was not "okay" for us to request or wait for a table in the nicer part of the restaurant, the hostess should have made that clear. Instead, she was vindictive, vengeful, and rude. So, if you decide to dine at Lombardos, have a back-up plan, because you just might have to leave when the hostess decides you've offended her, and she doesn't want you to eat there. read more

Premium food, and they must have a chef: kudos madam or sir! I'm always happy. I have yet to walk in. I bet a Michelin chef would scoff, but that person would be biased and a snob. Someone here is in charge and doing it right. Only issue: I think you should offer more options, uncharged for things like parm. And good parm. You know what I mean. It makes all people happy. It's never good when I have to snag someone else to get me more water. Fries were bland and tasted like they came out of a microwave. This review is for carryout pizza only. Decided to try Lombardo's for a large pie for the family dinner as the parking lot seems to always be busy at dinner time. Ordered a sausage pie with half mushroom/half broccoli. The crust, sauce and sausage were all pretty standard. In particular, the sausage was like anything I could buy from a grocery store as opposed to anything gourmet. My main complaint was with the veggies. The mushrooms were of the canned variety and the broccoli were of the frozen bagged variety. Really? This place charges a premium and you can't use fresh veggies? It's a restaurant that serves other dishes (like salad) and you have to go cheap on the pizza veggies? Will not return. read more

Don't get that, but whatever. So, GIUESS WHAT THE BILL CAME TO?? I'll tell ya...$46.15. Yup!! Insane!!! (Pic attached) Not only that, but the pizza arrived completely cold as if it was in the refrigerator over night. There was no inkling of it ever being warm. The cheese was also congealed. And to top that off....the pizza took an hour to get here. I live close too. Hey, Lombardo's- here's a tip for ya .....If you're going to charge those prices, your food better be ON POINT ...and laced with gold. I've never had such a terrible experience. They added extra things to our order and forgot other items. Then when we called we were told by Peter that it's our job to Double Check. That was the second call because we got hung up on the first time. Then their "resolution" for the problem was that it was "a big order" (food for 8) to send a delivery driver to pick up the food. This was the most concerning piece as it seems like they're planning to resell the food to someone else. This is a serious health concern as there's no other reason to send a delivery driver 20 minutes away to get food that was picked up unless they planned to resell it. Never going again. read more
