Ok, so this place? JUST NO!! I've never dined in their restaurant but this is my second time ordering for delivery. First time we ordered: 1. Chicken Piccata and a house salad and my husband ordered the Gramma Pizza. BILL CAME TO $75. WTF?! Pizza was just ok, not great. Today we decided to order from there and to give them one more shot. I mean we were just ordering pizza....how could that go wrong?! We ordered: 2 margarita pizzas. My husband added crumbled sausage to his and I added ricotta, to replace the mozzarella, and then added olives and garlic. My margarita pizza was tiny and my husband's was large. Don't get that, but whatever. So, GIUESS WHAT THE BILL CAME TO?? I'll tell ya...$46.15. Yup!! Insane!!! (Pic attached) Not only that, but the pizza arrived completely cold as if it was in the refrigerator over night. There was no inkling of it ever being warm. The cheese was also congealed. And to top that off....the pizza took an hour to get here. I live close too. Hey, Lombardo's- here's a tip for ya .....If you're going to charge those prices, your food better be ON POINT ...and laced with gold. It's an Italian pizza joint/small restaurant for christ sakes and there's a million of you around. I'll walk to NYC, where I grew up, to get a slice to avoid ever ordering from you again. I visited Lombardo's on Saturday, January 2, 2021. I was very disappointed in the staff and hostess not following Covid 19 mask wearing laws. One waitress in particular had her mask down the entire time. She was co-mingling with friends at a table, men at the bar and even kissed and hugged patrons at a table nearby. As for the hostess, she was doing the same thing. Not a good role model for her wait staff. If she's doing it why not others. I will never go back! Shame on all of you ! read more

Huge fan. Their bread--whether it be the complimentary bread basket, pizza, or garlic knots--is DIVINE. Best pizza I've ever had in the area. It's borderline crackish, which does not bode well for one's waistline. Pasta dishes are hugeeeee. Well worth the price. You'll get at least two meals out of certain pasta dishes, depending on your appetite. Ordered one salad to go when we were here. Aside from the red onions being soggy (which I think is because they sat for too long before being eaten), it was great. We've ordered pizza for pickup a few times. So finally after waiting in anticipation for months, my friends and I had the privilege of dining at the new place in town. Walking into the beautiful new spot there is a pizza counter for quick order and the market place. After briefly glancing at the market place we walked toward the dining room where the hostess greeted us. My two friends and I decided we'd test out the new marble bar by asking the bartender to make us something special. She mixed up some Lemon Basil martinis which surprisingly, tasted very smooth and refreshing. (Basil martini? who would've thought) Anyway, after serving our drinks she took our order. We ordered the Eggplant Rollatini, Rigatoni Montanara and a couple of buffalo slices. The dining room was full and the atmosphere was vibrant. The restaurant's ability to cater to both families and young adults definitely made it stand out. While we waited for our food, the bartender brought out some fresh bread and butter. Within 15-20 mins our main dishes were served. The buffalo slices were drizzled in blue cheese and buffalo-glazed chicken pieces. My friend said the slices were different than most buffalo slices he's had, "it had just the right amount of kick to it." My dish was the Rigatoni Montanara and it didn't disappoint. The grilled chicken, broccoli rabe, and garlic sauce over rigatoni was perfect, not to heavy and very tasteful. Last, but not least was the classic Eggplant Rollatini in which my friend savored every bite and she didn't leave any sauce to spare. Overall we have nothing but praise for the new place and wish it the best. The staff was friendly and personable, the service timely, and the food exceeded expectations. As a mentioned above its a versatile place which is great for after work drinks, dinner with the family, or a nice place to watch the game and have wings with friends. Highly recommend this place !!!! The decor is extremely beautiful, clean, classy and comfortable! Tons of seating space and a great looking bar. Their menu had tons of great options reasonably priced ranging from $15-25 for an entree. I ended up getting penne a la vodka since I haven't had a good one in about 3 years since I moved to Florida. Let me say I was not disappointed with this one! Huge portion for $15, you can get two meals out of it and it was sooooooooo delicious! The sauce was perfect, great chunks of prosciutto to give it an additional flavor. My only wish was that they had better Parmesan cheese for on top of the dish. They just had the Parmesan that you find at pizza places but the dish would've been top notch with some shaved off Parmesan. I've never had such a terrible experience. They added extra things to our order and forgot other items. Then when we called we were told by Peter that it's our job to Double Check. That was the second call because we got hung up on the first time. Then their "resolution" for the problem was that it was "a big order" (food for 8) to send a delivery driver to pick up the food. This was the most concerning piece as it seems like they're planning to resell the food to someone else. This is a serious health concern as there's no other reason to send a delivery driver 20 minutes away to get food that was picked up unless they planned to resell it. Never going again. read more

TL;DR: Everything about the place is excellent excepting the phone call. The place is like a mall for Italian food. You can get regular slices, gourmet slices, pizzettes (could possibly feed two), entrees, ingredients, etc etc. There is guaranteed to be something for everyone in your group. I've had about a dozen different things and the two winners are the broccoli rabe/sausage pizzette and the Rigatoni Fiorentina. Other pastas and entrees were very good, too. If you read a review of someone complaining about the food, they are just trying to be difficult for the sake of being difficult. Whoever designed the bar did a great job as it is very comfortable to sit and eat at (which is surprisingly rare). In fact, the whole place is well designed. I especially like how I can walk through the restaurant while it is busy without having to do a shuttle drill like I'm showcasing for the NFL draft. Now, one warning, if you call for pick-up or delivery, you might want to have a snack ready because it is going to take a while. No, the delivery time is fine and, no, I'm not counting the time it takes to drive there if you pick up your order. Instead, I'm talking about the phone call to place your order and how it is pull-your-hair-out infuriating ... and I am bald. We often order food from this place and it is quite good and fairly priced. The portions are massive, you will have leftovers for sure. You could easily share :) My mother in law loves their baked ziti, and I gotta say, it looks delicious!! Also comes with bread! My husband always orders the grilled chicken Toscana. It comes with 3 thin chicken breasts, peppers, broccoli rabe, cheese and garlic! You can choose to have a side salad, or a pasta with it. It is delicious and HUGE. Easily shared. Oh, yeah and it comes with bread too... Lol I ordered the farmers market salad with grilled chicken. I love the sweet pecans and the goat cheese combo. The salad is delicious, the chicken flavorful. I used to love this place. It's been around 6 years since I've been back (we moved). Today I asked for a vegan pasta (just vegetables, tomato sauce, and pasta). The first dish came out with chicken in it. I asked for them to redo it and then it came back with chicken a second time. This is a very dangerous mistake. If they did this with my husband's food allergy (shellfish) and we trusted them, he'd be dead. Glad he wasn't here to have lunch with us today! We have been going here for years. We were probably one of the first customers. I am also in the type of business where I have hosted many lunch and dinners for clients and many of them were hosted there. However, the customer service is awful. We ordered the Montanera for our daughter who absolutely loves it but will not eat it if the chicken is on it. I asked for the chicken to be on the side. When we received the order and opened it, the chicken was in the meal. Our daughter would not touch it. I called and spoke to Tiffany who was very nice and looked at the receipt and apologized for the mistake. She said that she can have another batch made and bring it over to us. I explained that we had to go somewhere and she suggested that I call another time for the order. I wrote down her name on the receipt and as I am looking at the receipt I noticed that the receipt clearly states for the chicken to be on the side. At first, I thought it was because they just didn't hear me which is another thing when you call it's so loud in the background. People taking orders at a noisy place should be in a quiet room. Anyway, I really thought that Tiffany was very nice and accommodating. I called tonight to order the meal with the chicken on the side and spoke to Danielle Who informed me that they cannot do anything because Tiffany wasn't there. I asked if I should call back when Tiffany is there and get the meal, and Danielle said no I spoke to a manager and we can't do anything because we don't have any record of it. I told her I had a receipt and she basically hung up on me. This is not the first time this has happened. There were other times where they got the order wrong and when you call and you speak to a manager they act as if it's your fault that they forgot the salad dressing for the $20.00 salad you ordered or that they forgot the appetizers on a $150 order for a family event. We own restaurants and as a business owners if we make a mistake on a delivery order we will send you a new dish or refund you the money no questions ask. I was pleasantly surprised when entering this restaurant to find a trendy, comfy atmosphere and. It to mention the food was delicious. Our table was seated quickly and we were given steaming fresh bread to start. I ordered the chicken Parmesan and absolutely loved my dish. The sauce was perfectly balanced and not too heavy or sweet. The portions are HUGE! I might have been able to finish my meal if I had two stomachs. Food was great. Service was impeccable. The ambiance of this restaurant is casual, but it's so airy and aesthetically beautiful from the tall back booths, to the gorgeous decorating. Very classy look. As for the food - where do I begin?! We started with the buffalo wings, mussels, and clams oreganata. All equally delicious - the clams and mussels were surprisingly huge. This is not the type of the restaurant where they're skimping on the food. Very pleased with the apps. Onto dinner - I had their Linguine Vongole (or linguine with clams.) The clams were so fresh, flavorful, and plump. The pasta was perfectly cooked and the white clam sauce was delicious. Others at my table had the Penne e Gamberi and the Sole Oreganata. Ordered wings for the super bowl. Asked for them to be prepared extra crispy. Someone in the kitchen placed plastic Saran wrap over the tray causing them to become the soggiest wings I've ever had. Everyone knows you use the aluminum foil cover and put holes in it in order to prevent condensation. Sauce was good but can't make up for a soggy wing. I rarely write reviews. Can't remember the last one I wrote. After the rudeness of the tall dark-haired Caucasian male waiter this evening, though, I can't help myself. At about 7:00 pm this evening, we ordered one Caesar salad with shrimp, one salad pizzette (individual pizza), and my broccoli rabe & sausage pizzette. My pizzette didn't arrive until my girlfriend & her dad had finished their meals, despite me asking the waiter about my missing meal twice. And to top it off, my pizzette was missing the crumbled sausage.... but the worst was that when I complained to the waiter, instead of saying "I'm sorry, I must have mis-understood," he argued with me, claiming I ordered it without sausage. Heck, I'd order sausage on my cheesecake if I could. The pizzette was sent back, and in 10 minutes came back with lukewarm crumbled sausage on top. I quickly wolfed down a couple of mini slices & took the rest to go. My girlfriend's dad insisted on paying the bill, and left a tip. I nevertheless told the waiter that service was poor and he should have offered a dessert or other comp, since my girlfriend & her dad already finished eating by the time I was served. And he again gave me an argument - that it was the pizza crew's fault not his, and that he asked for a comp (and presumably was denied one). This is one of the best pizza places in the area. I grew up in Westchester and when I move back with my family wanted to take them for pizza on Friday nights but sals was always busy. A friend of mine had written a review about Lombardo's and he was absolutely correct. Best Sicilian and one of the best pizza places in the area can't stress this enough. The only problem is they're so busy so the staff can be a little occupied Christina slices or my wife's favorites, my kids love the plain slices and Sicilian, buffalo chicken slice amazing salad slice amazing calzones fantastic pepperoni pinwheels unbelievable a must try. We loved coming to Lombardos and supported them during the pandemic with outgoing orders on a weekly basis but we've been back to the restaurant since it's opened its doors and I have to say the service is mostly awful! The waitstaff seems to be having a great time with each other but the customers are left waiting for their orders ... I am so disappointed because we loved coming here for some refreshments and delicious pizza, etc! I hope whoever is managing this restaurant wakes up and gets these servers to work as they did before. Excellent food - we took a lazy Saturday and sat at the bar for 6 hours. Ate too much and tasted some scotches. Started with Mozzarella and Tomatoes, very good, tomatoes had some flavor. Shared a gray Diablo seafood pasta very good, wish it had squid. Chicken Scallopenni was delicious, we wanted cherry peppers to give it a little kick. Tiramisu was solid. This place has lost its punch. Ordered shrimp parmigiana Fra Diablo last night and they used pickled peppers that had not even been rinsed of vinegar. The pomodoro was barely likeable and not even a hint of Italian spice! But the best one is the garlic bread. 6 slices for 6$! I've been going for years but now I'm saying stey clear till the management gets their act together! Using cheap help that doesn't know what the hell they are doing will kill this place! The food is mediocre. The service is HORRENDOUS!!!! . The wait staff is rude as can be. 5 adult dinners came before my kid's pizza came. When i inquired about it, I was told over and over it would be right out. Then no one came to the table again. No one asked the rest of us how the meal was. I had to yell across the dining room to get the server's attention. I finally walked to the kitchen myself and asked for my starving child's pizza. The man behind by the pizza ovens asked the server sanding next to me, "what's she mad about" like I wasn't standing 2 feet in front of him. Then the server that he asked, answered, "she's complaining about the pizza". The pizza guy said, calm down, it'll be out soon. After all 5 adult meals were already done. I asked to speak to the manager. Guess who it was- the rude pizza man that wouldn't address me as a human being!!!! Still no one has asked us how we are.
