So I was unlucky for having to take a day off work just to wait for my delivery for nothing and thats my own fault for not realizing that you have bad quality of handling products and that this happens often according to Kyle the store manager at Richmond. It should be the manager's responsibility for ensuring the product is in good condition before sending to the customer. why dont you fix your quality control instead by ensuring the product is good at the warehouse before delivering it to the customer and not having to arrive at my place before unboxing and realizing that its dented and then telling me that my product will be delayed. how is this fair for me or any other customers dealing with this?

They have a lot of the more "professional grade" stuff for when Home Depot doesn't cut it. These guys are also the exclusive suppliers for certain brands, so in may cases one will end up here. Staff were friendly and super helpful. They were able to locate the part I was looking for, and had it ready for pickup when I showed up. No complaints. I'd definitely come back in the future.

Not only could he not find the fridge but by the time we sat down and he agreed to match it, I had to leave. I asked if he could email me the quote and he straight up said "no". I asked why and he said, "I'm not going to send you something so you can shop me. If you want me to email you now, it will be to confirm your purchase." I wasn't sure if he was trying to hard close me but either way that is not how you talk to a customer. I was shocked and told him why are you arguing and speaking like this to a customer and he just simple kept quiet after so I left and immediately called in to speak to a manager. Now the reason why my review is not a 1 star is because of Stephan. He called me back within a couple hours and apologized on behalf of Midland and did his best to rectify the situation. I won't go into details as to what he did for me but I will say that if it wasn't because of his call, this review would be a lot worse. At the end of it all, I did end up purchasing a fridge from Midland because I believe in 2nd chances and hopefully this doesn't happen to another customer. I see others leaving negative reviews and it's easy to say bad things about a company but I also want to recognize the effort Stephan put in to try and make it right so this deserves to be posted.

I dealt with their Langley location, and it has been a complete disaster. Ultimately, I will end up having to pay for a patch-job for what was supposed to be a brand new appliance. The experience completely ruined what was supposed to be an exciting new kitchen for our home. You can do better. Take your business elsewhere.

After going through the warranty process, I was told the unit couldn't be repaired and was given store credit because I purchased the extended warranty. What a fucking scam. I was credited $450, but after shipping fees, environmental fees, and other bullshit charges that the warranty apparently doesn't cover, I could only use about $370 of it. The rest just vanished. So much for "full coverage." To make things worse, they didn't even have the replacement model available. I had to choose the only model they carried, and then they ran out of stock. Their solution? Pull one from Ontario. I placed the order in mid-May, and I STILL haven't received it. They tell me it takes 4-6 weeks to get to BC. Are you shipping this thing from a fucking third-world country? This is an absolutely fucking terrible way to run a business. The extended warranty is a joke, the replacement process is a nightmare, and the customer experience is complete garbage. AVOID THIS PLACE. DO NOT BUY THE FUCKING STORE WARRANTY. Ultra fucking shit.

This couch broke after only a couple months of moderate use. Since the couch frame seemed to be compromised from the very beginning, we decided to reach out to Leon's since their website says it has lifetime warranty for the frame of the couch. After spending 20 minutes trying to convince customer service that this couch did in fact have lifetime warranty included for the frame, they eventually agreed to get us a new wood frame free of charge. And we were expected to pick up the "frame" (all they gave us was a single board that probably cost about $4) from the Leon's store ourselves and put the couch back together ourselves (mind you, we live in an apartment). In the end, we were forced to spend hundreds of dollars on building supplies and the car rental (since we don't own a car), as well as over a day of time trying to replace the rotted board in this slapped-together couch, all because of a major manufacturing defect that shouldn't have been there in the first place. Long story short, Leon's is clearly not above selling you garbage, and if you figure it out, they'll do the least amount possible to accommodate you. For the price that this couch retails, you'd be much better off shopping somewhere else, or, honestly, building a couch yourself. Also, while I'm writing this review, I might as well mention that none of the covers are removable, every crumb or piece of dust sticks to the fabric, and after breaking the couch in (no pun intended) you'll sink into the middle and not be able to sit on the sides. Overall, huge disappointment and massive waste of money. We will not be shopping here ever again, and neither will our family or friends.

I bought 2 Oral B io series toothbrushes that were on sale, paid by debit card but almost immediately, realized that I should have paid for the toothbrushes by credit card. So I went to the back of the line and when I came up to the cashier, I asked that the purchase of the 2 toothbrushes be reversed so that I could pay for them by credit card. When I explained that I had made a mistake and wanted to pay by credit card instead of debit, the cashier first told me that I would lose all Optimum points associated with the initial purchase even if I were to buy back the same items immediately. She strongly discouraged me from changing mode of payment. She highlighted the points on the receipt to emphasize that those points were a "one time only" reward and would all be lost even if I were to buy the same items again. Then when she rung up the items for a second time, she stamped "Final Sale" on the receipt. I'm at a loss to understand her actions: Why would the same items paid for by credit suddenly become a final sale. I find it to be incredibly sharp practice for your cashier to take unfair advantage of a customer's mistake particularly when the mistake was discovered almost immediately. All these transactions occurred in under 6 minutes.

I arrived late afternoon and found out that the pharmacies if you have a chronic condition and you pass the interview by from the pharmacist, they will issue a prescription and fill it. The pharmacist I spoke with was intelligent articulate and interviewed me. I satisfied the guidelines for this service. She issued me the much needed drugs and gave me some advice. It was a wonderful experience. It solved my problem in two days and I enjoyed my trip. I also did some last-minute shopping in the store and it was a great experience.
