    Where have all the Long Johns gone?? I absolutely love Long John Silver's and I was so excited to see this location on the map as we were driving through. Many locations have closed in recent years and after reading the reviews on this one you might think it would be deserved... However, if you actually read the reviews, you will see that most of the one star reviews are absolutely ridiculous or are for bad customer service dating back over 16 years! We got a hot, fresh, delicious, affordable meal here this afternoon and I will be stopping at this location every time I drive by from now on. They absolutely do not deserve their low rating. Every bite of food was hot and delicious, except for the slaw of course which was cold and delicious. I love how they chop everything up into tiny bite-sized pieces so that I'm not chewing on big pieces of carrot or cabbage and their dressing is the best I've ever had with just the right amount of sweetness. Plus I LOVE the adorable little pirate chest container the food comes in and the little bits of crispy batter the add to the box. The little things really add up.

    This is what we got for $3.99

    We drove over 40 minutes to this Long John Silver's tonight to witness the biggest shit show I have ever seen in fast food. Upon arrival, we waited over 12 minutes in line for the person in front of us to make up his mind about what he wanted with only 1 cashier on the job and a flurry of workers in the back. Once it was our turn, the cashier said we needed to give him a few minutes and he came around the counter to have what was obviously a personal conversation with a friend of his. His friend was then invited to the counter to the side of us to make his order in front of us. Once we finally got to place our order, we waited and waited for our food. Granted it was busy. A place like this should be used to a high pace of traffic. Once our food came, we had to return to the counter 6 times to get our order completed. We did not have the sauces we asked for, we never got one of our drinks, and our orders were incomplete all the way around. We did not get what we paid for. When I returned to the counter the last time to get the missing cole slaw, the young woman came to the counter and I told her what the problem was she literally shrugged her shoulders and walked away. She could not understand English or just did not care or both; both most likely. The fellow who helped take our order out of order in the first place did take care of it this time as well, but not once did anyone ever make the whisper of I'm sorry. Additionally, we ordered lobster bites, which is a totally false advertisement and I would urge anyone to stay away from them as they were a waste of $3.99, greasy, over-breaded, tasteless, and just plain nasty. This store does not even care about the presentation of its product. Get your money and throw it in a bag and be done. My how things have changed. I know it's just fast food, but please HAVE SOME PRIDE! We have both like Long John Silver's, but driving 40 minutes to be treated like dirt, to have to repeatedly return to the counter, because people can not do their job and don't care, no thank you. For a mere $5.00 additionally, we could have driven 15 minutes, had professional service, good food, and known for sure what we were going to get. Don't think we will be back...

    The worst food i have eaten in many many years. I am not sure That the last meal i got at Long John's Silver Tasted all of this nasty. One thing i know for sure, i am cured of ever forgetting this experience. Do your self a favor, sometimes hunger is Much more tolerable.

    The whole experience here was bad. When I called to make sure they were open they said KFC, I said oh sorry I was trying to reach Long John Silvers and they hung up. It's actually a KFC/Ling John silvers. When I arrived I was the only one in the lobby and the employee's were only interested in helping the drive through. There were a lot of employees there but they just walked right past and didn't seem like they wanted to help take my order. When I got the order which was a chicken strip and fish family pack everything seemed over cooked and just tossed in the box. In fact I thought they forgot the chicken. I couldn't see them. Looking closely they were there but so tiny! They were smaller than the sauce packets. See the pictures. When I went back up to the counter, again people just walking right past not even acknowledge me. When someone finally came up I explained that the chicken were so tiny and I wanted a different batch. The lady then opened up this drawer and all the pieces were chicken nugget size. The fish was normal size but everything was burnt and the oil they used was old tasting. I wanted a fork and knife to cut and all they had was sporks. I got shrimp and they were burnt as well and tiny. I asked for cocktail sauce and all they had was malt and tarter sauce. So very disappointed. I couldn't believe I paid 35.00 for that.

    Can you believe it?! It was my first time going to Long John Silver's today! I had always seen commercials for it but I had never came across a LJS location until today. I grew up in the East Bay and I never saw a LJS there nor did I see any when I was living down in San Diego. 5 stars for a fast food? Here's why: Came in for lunch today and the young man working there named Kian (I believe that's what it read on his name tag) was such a great human being! He gave friendly service to not only me but to the other restaurant patrons. I got the $5 bucket meal which includes 2 pieces of fried fish, fries, 2 hush puppies, a cookie and a fountain drink. Definitely a good deal! The fish didn't taste like fast food! It was restaurant quality fish! I love how they had packets of tartar sauce and malt vinegar to your discretion. I should note that this Long John Silver's location shares the store with KFC so you can order either at the cash register. Scenario 1:While I was waiting for my order, an older lady comes in and orders a bucket of chicken, she doesn't really speak English and had a bit of trouble communicating her order. Kian was asking her whether she wanted chicken wings or tenders, it was hard to understand her and Kian had a good idea and got a sample of both to show her the choices so that she could point to what she wanted. Most people would have just guessed or assumed but he went out of his way to help someone. He was very patient too! Scenario 2: When I left Long John Silver's with my dad we went across the street to the Donut Wheel. While we were leaving the restaurant my dad held open the door for this lady who appeared to be physically disabled, she had a hard time walking with her cane and it looked like she had no use of her right arm and hand. When my dad I were eating at the Donut Wheel for dessert, my dad pointed out the window and we saw across the parking lot that Kian had actually assisted that lady to her car, he appeared to have carried her takeout order for her! WOW! What a nice young man! We need more people like him in this world! He went above and beyond with customer service! He definitely deserves some recognition or a promotion because in this day and age kindness is underrated.

The difference between the 2 salad sizes is $1 so made sense to just get the large. It was a good size salad but would've been perfect if it had cilantro and/or some scallions. On my previous visits, the food was prepared by the owner or their family members, and the sandwiches were excellent--high quality and generously filled. Lately, it seems a younger employee is making the sandwiches, and they are not being prepared correctly. I understand the economy is tough, but when customers spend their hard-earned money to support a local business and treat themselves, they shouldn't be consistently dissatisfied. Today, I ordered a pesto sandwich and a smoked turkey sandwich, specifically paying extra for additional meat because I had noticed a trend of skimpy portions. Unfortunately, as you can see in the comparison photos, both arrived with barely any meat at all. I actually called the restaurant to address this. The young man on the phone sounded embarrassed but told me there was nothing he could do and instructed me to contact DoorDash. I am sharing this--along with the side-by-side photos of how great the pesto sandwich used to be versus what is being made now--in the sincere hope that it helps the management improve their standards rather than discourage them. Sadly, after three strikes, I won't be returning.

First of all she got half of our order wrong she added on things she wanted to add then when I was just politely asking her to remove it from my order she huffed and puffed and said I already got it and then I came to the thing and told her hey you didn't take it off there was two drinks on there and she only had one ready anyway so she went and gave me the second one that I was charged for anyhow. Then gave me a small when it was supposed to be a large I asked her this is supposed to be a large and she huffed and puffed again and said oh my God OK I guess and she went in to fix it. I mean just the way she came off about it and was just very rude and added stuff onto my order then had a problem when she was asked politely to remove it I wasn't being rude I wasn't nothing but I was starting to lose my patience after she just kept on ignoring me and telling me yeah yeah I got it I got it when she didn't have anything she actually messed up half the order. Then because she was so upset about the drink situation at the ordering window she forgot to even add one of my food items I'm not trying to be rude I'm just trying to state facts on what happened. I asked her for no sour cream on the Chalupa didn't know there was only sour cream on the supreme one and they said they only had the supreme one that's eight dollars for two. At the end we just told her to have a good night and hope your night gets better. She's obviously having a very rough night but it's no reason to treat people like crap and for something you got wrong. I also asked if they had Sprite she said yes and gave me Sierra mist and then added a medium Pepsi on top of that I was just confused on where she got that? They usually are pretty good here but tonight not so much. Her name was Emily Z. That's at least what's on the receipt. I mean it's just crazy when you just ask for human decency you seem like you're the bad person. Hope this place improves at least her attitude i'm surprised she still works in this area with that attitude & the people over here.
