    Rootbeer float
    Monica G.

This was my first time to get a root beer float at A&W. I also got the chili hotdog but I do not have a picture of it. The hotdog was OK. Nothing that would make me want to order again. The chili was a little too heavy for me and a little too much spice. I was looking more like for something that like sonic serves but that's OK. This just was not my cup of tea but the piece of fish that I got was amazing. It was crunchy and hit all the right spot. It was delicious. The root beer float just finished it. It was on point and amazing. I will definitely be back for these items.

    The hybridized store front. Oooo!

Note: This is a combo A&W / Long John Silvers, and I only ate from the LJS portion of the menu. Does anyone still expect much of anything from LJS? The chain's been in a long-term decline for decades and it's a flip of the coin if you'll get anything fresh. I suppose I split the difference on this visit as they were OUT of cod, which really is the best thing to eat on the menu since they have to make it fresh. All they had was their usual diamond-shaped fish fillets, which arrived lukewarm along with warm-ish hush puppies. Service was friendly-ish but lackluster, like the food. On the plus side, the root beer tastes exactly like it should: alive, zippy, and cold if you throw enough ice cubes at it. Average it out, I'd call it a 2.5 star experience. Have to round it up to a three for Yelp, though. I might try this place again, see which side of the coin I get. This place scores a 3 out of 5 on the 'CTJ Scale', as noted below. 5 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Jesus good. Would be OK passing away after finishing a plate here. 4 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Mary good. Would be OK having a nosh here with Mother Mary. 3 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Joseph good. Would be OK having a beer here with Jesus' Dad. 2 out of 5 stars: Come-to-the-Apostles good. Meh. Wouldn't have my last supper here. 1 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Nobody good. I wouldn't have my penultimate supper here, either.

Place looked like it needed severe remodeling. Bathroom was horrible and smelled awful!! Food was good but the drink area was not very tempting! I'm not going back, no wonder they're hardly any left anymore.

I have to be honest, I stopped because I had a weird craving for Long John Silvers, was not expecting much since most Long John's have really gone down. But I have to say the service was friendly and everything was fried fresh to order, it was steaming hot! Fries were crispy, fish, chicken and shrimp were full of flavor and crispy! Provided a nostalgia of when Long John's glory days! Not sure if it was just by chance it was good, but if I was ever craving it again, I would wait till I was in this area to give it a go!

It was pretty crowded and they were under staffed so the wait time was longer but worth it. I surprisingly really really enjoyed my burger. I'm usually not a burger person, so I was pleasantly surprised and satisfied! They do shredded lettuce and mustard in their burgers which I'm not used to but again, I really enjoyed it. Overall good experience. I will definitely try it again whenever I visit CA or fiesta six flags.

Assumed they were having a sewage problem that day. So just recently we walked I. Again just to grab a meal for my 6 year old who didn't want Panera bread . We waited 26 minutes to get our kids meal of a plain burger and fries and a salad cuts side of skinny fries and then the fries were the same size as the kids fry and unsalted, they were not appetizing and my Togo bag didn't even include salt packets for my unsalted fries . . Which was like $4! And the hamburger was a slider. It was tiny . Definitely not worth the money and wait.

The drive thru is down that side of the building and it's one way. Bit of a pain to turn around. That being said went in and the first thing you notice is the music is really loud. Good music. The drink station is in a bit of an awkward spot. Feels like you're going behind the counter to get a drink. Prob be easier to have someone who works there fill and refill em but it's cool. So the burgers. Just looking at the smashed burger 50% outside the bun I knew I wasnt gonna be a big fan. The meat alone is kinda salty and crispy. Once you get to the bun and the toppings it's pretty good. You just gotta get there. Fries nice and crispy. Sweet tea was tasty. Glad I got to try it. Dont think I'll go out of my way for it unless they keep the meat inside the bun. I feel like you're wasting a lot of my patties lol and a triple is about the size of a decent regular burger with the meat so smashed.
