We came to a late lunch/ early dinner on a hot afternoon with our pups. We sat out in the beautiful outdoor seating. And what I loved was that the first thing the staff did when we sat down was bring our pups two bowls of water with ice!! What a nice touch:) Now for the food, it was amazing! They got a new chef and everything was delicious! My daughter had the kids chicken tenders and they were hands down the BEST tenders ever!! My son got the kids cheeseburger and I got the candied jalapeno bacon burger and OMG! The spice was perfect, the burger was pink in the middle and juicy! What a freaking gem!! We were SO pleasantly surprised by this place! We had a group of 8 and they sat us right away. Service was absolutely amazing and quick. I have an allergy and they made my burger incorrectly. However, they caught the mistake and remade it before it ever touched our table. Then, 2 different waitresses came to the table to tell me what happened and to apologize for the delay in me getting my food. The menu may seem like your basic burger joint but please believe the flavor combinations are outstanding! We are already planning another trip because we want to try every burger! We had a real fun time one Sunday afternoon back in February 22. Friendly staff, friendly people, lots of outdoor seating, music, people in cowboy boots, a real family gathering place. I had the excellent Candied Jalapeño Burger and fresh lemonade. My friends had beers, we played pool inside and had the most amazing time. So much so we had to stay in the area another night. Second time eating here. S-O had the Creston burger topped with fresh, crispy onion rings and bbq sauce served with fries. Really tasty. This is the second time I have ordered the N'AWLINS SHRIMP. Found it really good but too lemony. I prefer my seafood without lemons and prefer sauces. At $15 for this dish the jumbo shrimp was not peeled only the back of. Had to take my fork and knife to remove them though that was not a success. Used my fingers which would get saucy. Love this Shrimp but next time will ask my server if the shrimp is PEELED first and to not add the sliced lemons. Love the drive from Atascadero to Creston. So much open country, ranches and vineyards to visit this small, quaint Western town. read more

This is my favorite burger place and it is 4 miles from my brothers ranch! I love sitting at the bar, drinking a beer and eating a perfectly cooked and very juicy burger. Each of the Candied Jalapeno Bacon Burger, Green Chili Burger or Creston Burger's are great. The buns are fresh and toasted perfectly, crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The meat is cooked properly and dressed as you order it. The fries are cooked nicely, crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The ambience is old town western to the hilt! Hot in the city, hot in the city tonight. Ok, Longbranch ain't in the City but this place is Hot! Been on my to do list for months and tonight was the night and it was definitely alright! First off, fun, curvy, winding road kinda drive from the 101. This made the anticipation even better. Creston is a cool, little country town with an awesome vibe. Walked inside, friendly locals surround every bit of space possible. It's kid friendly, it's really friendly! Feels like a bar but trust me, it's better than the tv show Cheers. If me & my fam go back soon, they'll know our name. It's that kind of place. Order the fried pickles. They're pretty much friend disks of awesomeness. My kids ordered the sliders off of the kids menu and licked their plates clean. Not kidding. It happened. My plus 2, my better half....we both ordered burgers. Well, we pretty much died, went to heaven. They were that good. So good that I might not be able to dig on another burger like this anytime soon. Wow how this place has changed over the years. It definitely has grown and become a popular place to eat out in Creston. I have only been her for a drink many moons ago. We stopped at about 7 on a Sunday and it was packed out. They had some sort of issue with customers so our seating and service took a bit of time. Don't worry it had nothing to do with food or service. It was a bit more of a personal issue. anywho when we received our food it was great everyone had a great burger. Mine was a jalapeño burger and it was smoking hot. But delicious! Great outdoor seating great drinks. Well worth the stop to fill up. Prices are great also. read more

An unexpected great find in a tiny little town! The menu is simple but well executed. The pull pork sandwich and portabella burger are flavorful, although the buns could be a bit sturdier. A generous portion of fries accompanied the sandwiches and burgers. They are the star of the show! I never eat all the fries with my burgers but I did these. The famous fried pickles are interesting but best shared with a group of 4. Tables in the large outdoor patio are well spaced. Service is very efficient. read more

Good food, nice people. However: these people are doing almost nothing to protect their employees and guests from C19, and it took a long time to get food. I had my sons 7th birthday party here last weekend and it was a hit! Jess accommodated our large party even when the restaurant was super busy. The employees Crespin, Nate M, and Laura where amazing! These three even help us tape our tablecloths down, set up, and made my sons party perfect! My kids enjoyed the half pipe and play area which was such a plus! This is hands down the best local restaurant in SLO county! 10/10 recommend! My father is even wanting to do his wedding reception here due to the space, the stage, and amenities! The staff is so hard working! My favorite thing about this restaurant is that Jessica hires teenagers! This is such an important thing for our small community, and really gives these kids a chance to learn responsibility and so many other important morals and values! Not a lot of places do this, and I think this sets Long Branch aside from all other places! Again i want to say 10/10 for Crespin who is one of the teenagers who was our busser. Order To-go on 4/21, drove 25 minutes to pick up the order, waited 30minutes inside of restaurant for said order after it should've already been done, then was told they were out of patties & had to drive 25 minutes back home empty handed to 6 people. Why couldn't i have been told that when i first arrived & checked in for my order? Why didn't the person who answered the phone confirm with the kitchen they could still fulfill my order? Absolutely ridiculous. I also confirmed when i called that my order could still be accommodated & was told yes, twice. We dine here fairly often, at least 2x a month, sadly i don't see us going back anytime soon or recommending anymore to friends and family. read more

We are regulars My family and I regularly hang out at the Longbranch Saloon. Pandy, the chef, creates wonderful meals. I usually order a special. I have not had a bad meal yet. During the cooler months I order the soup. It doesn't matter what the soup is. It is warm delicious, comforting, and filling. The cocktails are pretty good too. Stopped in from a beautiful day searching for wildflowers. We were going to stay and eat but the servers were not wearing mask. In fact our server stated that the only reason she decided to work there was after a year off she took this job because she didn't have to wear a mask. None of the employees were masked!
