This is the first time I was really disappointed in the food here the 2 bake potatoes I got were both terrible they must have been under the heat lamp for the past 2 days they were both dry as a rock the taste was also bad I added more butter a little more salt & pepper to no avail the steak was not much better it was dry & tough it tasted alright the fat had a real good taste this really surprise me I no it wasn't just me one of my sisters her bake potatoes was also bad but my other sister whos birthday it was had got a sweet potato she said it was cook to perfection I'm glad she was happy with her food anyway. read more

The worst service ever. There were 8 in our party. We waited at least 15 minutes for a table. Not usually bad wait for 8 but there wasn't anyone there. There were two tables that could accommodate us without them having to do anything. I didn't understand the wait. When we finally got waited on it was the worst service ever. We will not go back. This was obviously a case of poor management. People were standing around chatting while the patrons were waiting for everything. My granddaughter ordered a grill cheese. The cheese wasn't even melted and was the last thing brought out after we reminded her we had ordered it. Bad experience from walking in the door until we left. read more

Went for a family dinner last night... had a very nice meal. The timing of the meal was perfect and we had a great server. Two items to mention... * The chopped steak with the fried onions and BEYOND YUMMY sauce was fabulous as always. Yes, I can do hamburger steak at home, but I can't make that sauce. :)... and Longhorn consistently puts out great and creamy mashed potatoes... being a southern girl, I love my mashed potatoes, and if Longhorn has any powdered potatoes in theirs, they've got me fooled which is very hard to do. * We tried the new "spicy chicken rolls" ....app off the new summer menu... don't waste your time. Hate to say it, but they literally tasted like the frozen 'tacitos' you can get in any frozen food section. Not the different and delicious that you usually find on the seasonal menus at Longhorn.. Went at 3 pm for early diner for husbands birthday and waited forever for food. When it came out steak was not done and tough. Brought husbands strawberry chicken salad wrong. We visited this restaurant on Friday during lunch time. The restaurant was very quiet, clean and welcoming. We enjoyed the corn fritters, chili cheese fries, steak, broccoli, mac & cheese, and chicken and avocado sandwich. They have great lunch specials! Our server was also very friendly and welcoming. We had an awesome meal tonight. Never disappointed in their steaks. Katie was our server, great too. Last week we went to The Peddler; my T-bone was 10x better at Longhorn than same cut at Peddler! Longhorn is the absolute best place, especially if you want a great steak! They know how to prepare them as ordered and the flavor is just perfect. I have eaten steaks that cost $75 and I'll take the $28 Porterhouse from Longhorn any time! read more

Ladies (mom's) night with my sister on a Friday evening started off lackluster due to the hostesses being very disorganized, however Longhorn finally impressed me with a meal. I had the grilled shrimp basted with tomato butter, creamed spinach & steamed broccoli. I seldom complain when out, however I am not easily impressed. I must say the food was a fabulous 5....I would have rated a 5 but just getting seated becomes a fiasco almost every visit. read more

This restaurant is our go to when we want steak or prime rib. Generally we have great service, food and enjoy our meals from start to finish. Last night we were having our usual great experience, tried the Wild West Shrimp appetizer, enjoyed the bread, our salads and baked potatoes. My boyfriend was eating his medium well Outlaw Ribeye and noticed half way through that is was more rare then medium. I then checked my medium Ribeye and found mine too rare. We told our server and she offered to have it cooked further. We declined as I was taking mine home since I was full from the other delicious food I had eaten. Shortly thereafter the manager came over to check with us and address the undercooked meat. He was very professional and told us he would be taking care of our steaks. We thanked him and explained as a former restaurant owner we understand errors happen and they can only be corrected if you let the staff know. When we got our bill we were pleasantly surprised that he did comp both meals. We happily paid for our appetizer and drinks, being sure to tip our server for the full price of our meals. We will definitely continue to eat here as they truly take customer service a priority. Thank you for making our visit great despite a potentially poor experience handled appropriately. read more

Stopped in for lunch. The food was okay but the restaurant was dirty, the bathroom was dirty, and our server was dirty. The longer I sat there the more i noticed just how nasty the place was. Dust on the table lamps, crumbs left on our table from the previous night, and the whole place smelled like mildew. It wasn't the worst experience and i wasn't afraid to eat the food but if cleanliness is something that you enjoy then steer clear of this place. read more

Our waitress was terrible! She did not hear my complaint to her about our loaded baked potatoes having 2 pieces of bacon and about 3 shreds of cheese and my husband's steak being overcooked and tough! I also did not get my side of green beans that was supposed to come with my meal. It took forever to get our meal and we were not there at a busy time. When my husband asked for a to go cup, the waitress stuck her finger inside his cup when she brought it out to our table (GROSS!) We like the LongHorn's in Anderson and thought we would give this one a try since we live in Easley. We will definitely not go back to the one in Easley! read more

Very poor quality food and even poorer service. Salad was drenched in dressing so bad the lettuce was wilted and sent back but still charged. Entree and kids meal was served with ten fries each and cold and undercooked. Another steak entree was way over cooked but still served. When asked why the manager said she thought it was best to at least serve us something wrong than for us to wait. Had to ask for straws and ketchup for kids meal and we finally had to go find out own ketchup. We had very similar service last time we were here and now we will definitely not be coming back. read more

Had a great meal last night. Ordered the 2 for 1 porterhouse steak. It was a 30 ounce steak with 2 sides and 2 salads. We both had the baked potato and salads with vinegar and oil on the side. Our server was a little slow. She brought over our bread but didn't bring any plates. Then she brought our salads but not our dressing. When we arrived there was no wine list. We had to ask the waitress. We didn't order appetizers because we wanted to get dessert. Our meal was spaced out perfectly. When our steak arrived it was cooked to perfection. When we finished our meal and decided to order dessert the waitress was ready to push us out the door without even offering dessert. We asked for a menu and she proceeded to give us 3 options. My wife asked if there were any other options and she followed with half a dozen other items. We made our selection and enjoyed a delicious ending to a perfect meal. Though my wife asked for her butter on the side of the potato which she did receive they did not put the sour cream on her potato as offered. It was a mistake of communication. All in all I would definitely recommend Longhorns for a great steak dinner. Prices are very competitive and compared to the competition they are #1. read more

Service here really sucks. Had a short 10 min. wait before being seated. Placed our order and it was down hill from there. After sitting for a while the waitress offered to bring out some bread. She brought out my salad and sad our food would be out shortly. About 30 mins. later we still had no food. About a hour later, they brought out the order and mine was wrong, my wife and friends was cold. Had to ask another waitress for some tea refills. We were offered more bread but it never arrived. I finally got what I ordered about 30 mins. later. The manager came out and offered a free desert but it took another 15 mins or more to see what we wanted. We decided to leave while we could. The manager (Tim Moriarty) was rude and the only concessions made to take the price my meal off. I know this place is new but their service and manners are the worst I have ever seen. What should have been a 1hour long, took well over 2 hours. read more
