    Tough!!!

My ribeye steak was so tough... I had to send it back, and I don't ever send food back. But the waiter was super nice and took the steak off my bill. Honestly it didn't look like a ribeye, I'm thinking sirloin or top round or just a cheap cut ribeye.

It was take out for my birthday dinner the day after my birthday (July 12)as the dinner plans with my family fell through. One family member recently back from a trip with her dad, tested positive for covid, some family weren't going to be able to attend. I cancelled until after my blood work in September hopefully by that time frame it will happen. For my dinner I made an online order for curbside pick up at Longhorn in Easley. I ordered the Parmesan crusted chicken with mashed potatoes and a garden salad. I didn't let my free birthday dessert pass by, so I orderd the strawberry shortcake. The salad was good, the mashed potatoes were mashed potatoes, the Parmesan crusted chicken was only ok, and so was the free dessert.

The Wednesday afternoon we visited the restaurant was pretty empty. The free bread was hard and stale, the food was ok. My husband went to the restroom to wash his hands and one of the employees was using the restroom and walked out without washing their hands. Made the experience very unappetizing.

Food was delicious! Waitress was nice. It was very busy probably because of Easter but the restaurant was chill and very cute cowboy themed.

This restaurant has become a favorite. Every now and then I HAVE to get a big juicy steak with baked potato and salad. Good place to get a Ribeye. This time I was in the mood for something different. First the server brought warm bread and butter for the table. We started off with the White Cheddar Stuffed Mushrooms. Excellent choice! That was followed by soup. The hubby chose the Shrimp & Lobster Chowder and I had the French Onion Soup. Both were good. For the entree we both chose Redrock Grilled Shrimp over rice. I had a Caesar Salad as a side. The hubby's side of choice was the Sweet Potato with Cinnamon Sugar & Butter. Both were delicious. There is almost always a wait here. (They don't take reservations.) We try to go early so we don't have to wait as long. The secret is to avoid Friday and Saturday nights. The hostess and servers are very friendly. Typical steakhouse feel.

    Deliciousness !

The food is always great, but double check any take out you get, things are sometimes mistakenly left out

I found Inky's back when they were in the shopping center on Calhoun Mem Hwy. I'm from the Philly…read morearea and when I saw them prepping the sandwiches I knew I was home! Their Cheesesteaks are superb either way; "Wid or wideout". Now, if they could just get Frank's soda (black cherry .... Mmmmmm). I tried their hoagie one time and I wasn't super crazy about it. Could've been an off day. One problem with parking at their place in the Silos, it is very limited and neighboring shops are not too friendly to non customers using their parking.

Inky's Philly Cheesesteak in Easley, SC, delivers a fantastic take on a regional favorite…read more Located at the base of The Silos--where several food trucks ply their specialties--Inky's stands out as a spacious, comfortable spot with large booths that invite you to settle in... and maybe stay a while. High ceiling, lots of wood paneling, very vintage while still feeling up to date. The menu includes burgers, deli-style hoagies, and salads, but let's be honest: the cheesesteak is why you showed up--and it's good enough to keep you coming back. There's some real history behind the name. Albert "Inky" Harris ran the first cheesesteak and hoagie shop in Philadelphia back in the 1940s, and the current grandchildren owners carry that legacy forward. Whether every detail has been perfectly preserved or lovingly remembered, one thing is certain: they source their white American cheese from Philly, and the result feels authentic. And that makes all the difference. The fresh-baked Liscio's rolls are huge--soft and warm on the inside, with a firm, crusty on the outside. Like me... on a good day. Inside, finely chopped steak, peppers, onions, and that perfectly melted white American cheese are blended together, so every bite delivers a balanced, satisfying hit of flavor. No "all onions in one bite, no meat in the next" surprises--just consistent harmony. And the star of the show? Certified Angus ribeye. No shortcuts. No skimping. No regrets. Sandwiches come in 7", 12", or the "I wish I was still in college" 18" option--because sometimes restraint is overrated. My wife and I split the Colossal. The meals are served on trendy paper-toppped metsl trays. The staff and management go out of their way to make you feel welcome and walk you through all the options. Sides round out the experience with plenty of choices: fries, tater tots, onion rings, pasta salad, fried mushrooms (hello, childhood), and a standout option--house-made chips, sliced and fried fresh and disappearing faster than your willpower. Bottom line: If you're craving a true Philly-style cheesesteak without leaving the Upstate, Inky's is absolutely worth the stop. Just don't plan on eating light... or sharing. Go ahead, open the door and you will see big families, friends and what appears to be regulars all enjoying their meals and each other. Staff was extremely fun and made me feel right at home. This restaurant reminds me to NEVER judge a restaurant from the outside! Wow... had the steak ribeye. Fantastic! First time I have had a steak cooked perfectly at a restaurant in a long, long time! Onion rings, worth the up charge! Burgers...Amazing! Drinks, perfection! A lot of fun, a lot of food and great staff! I will be back soon and often! 5 stars!

I've never felt compelled to write a review for a restaurant before…read more This was the worst dining experience of my entire life. For a two top we had to wait an hour to get an appetizer that came out cold, then another 45 minutes to have the main course sent out. It came out cold and they forgot one of the two dishes entirely. We were then told the order for the second person would be out shortly and waited another 20 minutes, after which we asked for the check and left. The wait staff was terrible, the bar tender was on her phone and not checking on people at the bar or taking on the task of pouring a beer, for which I had to wait 25 minutes after ordering while she was on her phone. When the bartender was not on her phone she was making an attempt at flirting with another worker in the building. Overall, I would highly recommend going anywhere else nearby. The only positive aspect here would be the environment. It was decent and clean. So I would say if you are interested in going here you should only go for the $2.75 beers during happy hour. Cheers, Steddy's. I will never go back for this overpriced miserable food.
