    Outlaw ribeye

Came here today around 3:45/4:00 pm. Upon entering, it was fairly empty with three groups waiting. We were told it was a 5 minute wait. We ordered food and when the bread was brought out we walked for some honey. Never came. Some food came out hot, some of it was lukewarm. Steak wasn't at the right temperature requested. The cheeseburger was pretty much made upside down. Not a big disappointment for longhorn. No other complaints about the food. Not really much attention from the waitress. Upon requesting the bill and waiting 10 more minutes to receive it , I realized this place was getting crowded. Didn't notice any new waitresses from when I came in. I'll probably visit again after realizing the restaurant was understaffed.

I was out with coworkers who chose this restaurant. Someone else was paying for dinner so I was being a team player lol. There was a wait and many empty tables, which led me to believe that they were short on staff. Our server was very pleasant yet seemed overwhelmed. The food was on par with chain restaurants. Nothing exciting, at least for me. The most memorable thing was the fact that the bathroom was really clean and the drink menu was decent.

Outlaw Ribeye and Loaded Baked Potato

There are really very few restaurants I would advise to skip, this being one of them. We came in for a lunch on a Tuesday afternoon, the restaurant seemed a bit empty, but Jen's never been to Longhorn and we agreed to try it out. Got seated fairly quickly so we appreciated that. The decor of the restaurant was decent, lighting was fine for a cozy atmosphere. Service was good initially, Kim, our server asked us if we would like some drinks and if we're ready to order and we started out with our usual waters and asked for a few minutes to decide our entrees. They had a decent lunch special but not a lot of steak on it. Mostly chicken and the one steak option they did have was over a salad. So, we ordered the cheeseburger with a side of loaded baked potato soup for Jen. I had the outlaw ribeye (a bone in ribeye with great fat marbling) at least that's how it was described. It took about 15 minutes to get our food, that's totally normal and steaks tend to take at least 8 - 10 minutes to rest before they should be brought to the table. Bread was the first to arrive, then we got Jen's soup and burger and my steak and a loaded baked potato. Soup was decent, good flavor and I'm thankful that the server recommended the potato soup, upon reading some yelp reviews, the original choice we had was the shrimp and Lobster soup which wasn't very popular. The loaded baked potato was fine, nothing really extraordinary, it wasn't loaded with that much cheese, sour cream and butter, just barely enough bacon crumbles for first two bites. As for the steak and burger both were not cooked to our temperature preferences. For the burger, we asked for medium - it came medium rare. The steak was supposed to be medium rare, it came mostly rare. I could tell the steak was off because as I began slicing it, some blood leaked out into the plate, and the fat and some tendons weren't rendered down at all and were very tough to cut through. Here's where service could have been a bit better, first we had to flag down another waitress to get our waitress to come back around so that we can have our food adjusted. By the time she came back, I had already cut open my steak and saw mostly red inside; Jen had cut her burger in half to show the doneness wasn't tonight our order. I'm not new to steakhouses, in fact I've reviewed quite a few and am very versed in my protein temperatures and doneness. For the waitress to tell me that my steak WAS cooked medium rare and Jen's cheeseburger was cooked medium was almost comical. We even had her pull out the doneness card the restaurant goes by, it was not even close, but in the end we agreed that both the steak and the burger would be cooked one more level of doneness. So my steak would be cooked to medium, and Jen's cheeseburger would be made medium-well. I've taken some photos and I have to say, either the chef needs to start using a thermometer to test doneness or they need to change that doneness card and train the staff on it. Because even after getting my steak cooked AGAIN, it still looked pretty rare. I'll let you be the judge, but my review is based on my experience and it wasn't a great one. I doubt I'll be coming back, I boxed up my leftover steak and decided to finish cooking it at home. Overall, dissatisfied with the food, and dissatisfied that I was doubted by the waiters and that we even needed to discuss doneness at a steakhouse. Even after all the back and forth and recooking the steak and burger I doubt I can recommend this place.

Not my favorite chain steak restaurant (that belongs to Texas Roadhouse for now) but a very decent choice nonetheless. Price is reasonable and food was delicious. This location gets busy during weekend dinner time so a protip is to join their waitlist before you arrive. We had to wait upwards of 50 minutes to get a table on a Sunday night. The restaurant itself was nice, staff was attentive, and service is what you would expect. Not too noisy and the tables were not overcrowded. Their warm bread is nothing special but it is unlimited and a great start to your meal. Each steak item comes with two sides with and option to upgrade to more premium sides. Their fountain drinks and lemonades also come with free refills which is nice. Overall, a great dinner option every once in a while to satisfy that steak craving.

LongHorn Steakhouse is a good spot for a date night or a family meal, and the menu has more than just steaks. We waited about 25 minutes for a table for three. Our server was friendly and helpful, and the food came out quickly. Everything tasted fresh. The salmon was cooked just right, but the mashed potatoes were a bit too salty because of the butter. I'd recommend this place for a relaxed family dinner.

The service was excellent!! I was a little confused about the lunch menu, however the food came in a timely manner. It was not hot, but it was not cold. Since we were hungry we ate. The prices were decent for what I ordered. The restaurant did have great decor. I was confused why they put a slice of cheese on the plate. It was a first and last time.

Onions that I specifically told them not to include in my order.

This is the 3rd time I have visited this location and had to wait 45 minutes for my meal. I ordered for a second time the cheeseburger without onions and what did they do? They added raw onions. The lettuce looked like a hot mess too. For what I paid, I should've gotten a better platter. The strawberry and pecan salad that I ordered the first time with chicken 3 years ago had more lettuce than anything else too. One dressing cup, very little mandarin orange too. As for the bathroom access, there were double chairs almost blocking accessing the entrance too. There weren't any toilet seat covers, the handicap toilet seat for the handicap toilet was loose and low and the floor was sticky. I should've taken a picture of the bathroom but I do have picture of my food.

Haven't tried this place before, so I went with a friend! The wait was about an hour, and they texted me when it was ready. The wings were so delicious and perfectly cooked! Favorite part of the meal. The sirloin steak and shrimp was great value! But our steaks were cooked so randomly. I got medium well and my friend got medium rare. We ended up with very well done and very rare, respectively. The shrimp was good and tender, but they were super buttery. Baked potato wasn't great and broccoli was standard. The meal averaged $50 for each of us.

The server was great and attended to order. I was a bit disappointed in the drinks as I ordered strawberry lemonade it was simply strawberry purée with Minute Maid lemonade. The bread the bring out before your appetizer had a long hair in it. So I decided not to get anything else but what came out. Overall just survey what you ordered to ensure it's complete. I took a picture of the hair baked into the bread for reference

I haven't been to this location in years. My husband called ahead of time to see joel ing the wait was for a party of 8. It was around 3:30 on a saturday. They guy told him it's pretty dead right now so you would be seated immediately. We get there the hostess walks over to us doesn't say anything. So I say hello party of 8 she nods her head ask my name and cell number NEVER once looking up and giving me eye contact. The place was empty she said give me a minute it ended up being like 10. We were finally seated the waiter comes takes our orders BUt the entree comes before the appetizers I hate when that happens. We had to ask for our water twice . The bread isn't what I remember. It was nice and hot thou. The side that used to come with the spinach I remember it was chips this was pita bread which wasn't bad it just didn't go with the dip. The steak was made to perfection but believe it or not 8 found it a bit salty. The ceaser salad croutons were salty too idk if it was just me but it wasn't the experience we've had. I must say the dragonfruit margarita was good .

I came here on Sunday and I was pleasantly surprised and impressed. I ordered the New York Strip and shrimp with a loaded potato and Brussels sprouts. My friend ordered the onion appetizer and a steak. I was pleasantly surprised with my dish. The steak was well cooked and flavorful. The sides were equally delicious and the waitress Emely was amazing. The Brussels sprouts were a bit greasy for my taste but besides that everything was perfect. She was very busy but checked on us and was very efficient and nice. I would definitely come back to this location. I have gone to other longhorn locations and I would say this one is by far the best I have gone to. Also the bread they gave us was nice and warm with the delicious butter. We ordered dessert and that was good as well. I will definitely be back and look forward to it.

I've never been to a Longhorn before and I usually don't go to chain restaurants but L really wanted to try it since we've passed by it so much and a YouTuber reviewed a different location and liked it. So because of social media... L made me try it. There were some parts that was ok. If you like Red Lobster, you might like the steak version which would be Longhorn type. I do not care for Red Lobster. I also do not like Outback which I also tried once over a decade ago.. I didn't have high expectations going in. It was fairly empty lunch time .. I noticed that a lot of tables were ordering alcohol even though it was lunch time.. Drinks are pretty cheap and I only drink when I have to and usually only exp drinks...so I didn't have any alcohol, only unsweetened ice tea which was pretty good. You can taste the lemon in it and the tea flavor. Better than the toxic sugar water that L ordered....Aka coke which he never gets to have usually .. L ordered the outlaw ribeye with mashed potatoes and a Caesar salad and I for some reason ordered their cheeseburger, no cheese and tried the shrimp and lobster chowder since reviews seemed positive. Sometimes you should just order what you like and not listen to good reviews. People are entitled to their own opinions.. The loaf of bread came and it's not the greatest bread but the butter was decent and better than your avg chain restaurant offering. The Caesar salad came next and we were actually quite surprised. It was a fairly big portion. It was dressed pretty well and it had a ton of Parmesan cheese. Like it was in every bite... the salad was the best part of the meal. Then came the entrees.. I ate some parts of my burger. It was ok the first few bites and then I didn't want more. Then I opened it up and ate a lil more of the meat before quitting. It wasn't too salty at least and it was loaded with onions and tomatoes and nicely brined pickles. Definitely missing fat on the burger... the chowder was horrible.. it tasted like what I would assume would come from a can. I had 2 sips. I didn't even offer it to L.. L's steak looked decent for a chain....steakhouse. He got it with the onions and mushrooms. That actually looked good. They didn't taste seasoned but totally ok with us. The mashed potatoes had a lot of butter and salt. I mean you can't mess up mashed potatoes really. I mean you still can but these were at least still okay. I had a bite of steak. Not too salty. L used that steak sauce. Some finishing salt would've been nice.. Alcohol would've made it better but I didn't want the empty calories. At least it didn't cost too much but no I would not go back. If you do go to longhorn, stick with the steak, do not get the soup.
