Wings and White Cheddar Stuffed Mushrooms for appetizers
    Katarina L.

Open late, lots of tables, full bar, plenty of parking. Even if you don't love visiting chains or you never really order steak, coming here is a safe call. Call me crazy for coming to a Longhorn and getting the salmon (multiple times) but I am just more of a seafood gal! And they do prepare a lovely salmon here. It comes with 2 sides which I try to mix up and I can tell you I will normally be taking leftovers home. The salmon is juicy, flavorful and never overcooked. And the stand out sides are the baked sweet potato and the broccoli. Ordering apps? The wings are tasty as are the cheddar stuffed mushrooms. Portions are big so save some room for your actual dinner and don't make the same mistake I always do. One thing I would love is to see more healthy-ish or just lighter items on the menu. Nearly every app is deep fried or covered in cheese. But other than that, I've eaten here with my parents a few times and can say everything is usually pretty good!

Food: I ordered French onion soup which I inhaled. It was delicious. I also ordered steak. It was very flavorful and cooked to my liking. Baked potato was also pretty good. Service: the server was very attentive. The food came fairly quickly Value: for the price we pay and service, the value is great. Parking: it is a little awkward due to the outside set up but there is enough parking. I would recommend checking it out

We've been coming to this Longhorn steakhouse for years now and I have to say it's always been a great experience. The staff is super friendly, helpful, and kind. The food is really good and comes out fresh/hot. The ambiance is great, music isn't too loud and everyone is respectful there. Definitely would recommend!

You can never go wrong here. Food is good, service is good. They serve you with bread and butter before your meal. I got the chicken tenders and my husband got the cowboy steak. This time we got the molten lava cake and I practically ate the whole thing.

The burger was good, and it was definitely big. The spinach dip did not sit well with me or my friend. The people were nice and brought out the food and drinks pretty quickly. I did not love the actual restaurant. It felt dark and dingy. Maybe this type of place is not for me, because I did not like the decor.

It's such a great local spot, and I don't think enough people realize what it is or how good it's become. My mom and I stopped in for lunch and sat outside on Main Street, which was honestly so lovely. It felt really special to just sit, enjoy a great meal, and be part of the community. We met Mo, who took such great care of us and made the whole experience feel warm and welcoming. We started with the hummus, which was incredibly fresh and smooth, and you could tell everything was made with care. For our mains, we had the lamb chops and the lemon chicken, both of which were delicious. The lamb was tender and perfectly cooked, and the lemon chicken had such a bright, balanced flavor. The potatoes were a standout, roasted and finished in a lemon butter that made them unforgettable. If you haven't been in a while, or didn't realize there's been a change, it's definitely worth stopping in. Main Street businesses could really use the support, and this place is one that deserves it. Go say hi to Mo and give it a try.

Or a buffet that no longer buffets. But pizza is a big part of their menu and a lot of people order it. I can tell you, from sight alone... I wouldn't call it pizza. It's cheese, toppings, and an extremely flat crust that I can only imagine crunches to smithereens. So I went very much with not pizza. Fortunately, the menu goes many other directions. I got a hot chicken sandwich with Cajun fries, basically regular fries with a little seasoning sprinkled on (not baked in). Took a little while to get to us, but once it did, I was impressed with the spice level. This is not for the faint of tongue. The fries were perfectly cooked, but I would say just get plain fries if that's your vibe. I could have upgraded to onion rings or similar, wasn't feeling quite hungry enough for that venture. Verdict: I don't know. It's not a diner. It's not a pizzeria. Definitely seemed kid-friendly. I think my date liked this place more than I did. So again, I'll go with the balance and stick 4 stars on the wall. Could return, not sure what else in Flemington might attract (seems fairly restaurant-barren).

The food here is to-die for, and is certainly one of the best restaurants in the area. I have friends who visit from out of town who specifically request to go to Blue Fish during their stay! The prices are great for the quality of the food. I always opt for the build-your-own entree. This time, I chose the brisket with a side of the caramelized plantains, but I also often go with the chicken, steak, or salmon with the pesto butter. No matter what you order, you can't go wrong. The staff are very kind and the service is quick. The interior is modern and up-to-date, paralleled by its brick historic vibe exterior, as the Stangl Factory building was once a pottery/ceramic factory. Now, the building is home to Blue Fish Grill, as well as a number of other businesses including an artist-owned gallery, a large pottery studio, a medium, and a yoga and physical therapy studio. Stangl also hosts a weekly artisan farmers' market and bi-monthly live music and art events. It really is a growing creative community. Blue Fish Grill doesn't have a bar, but they do allow BYOB. If you find yourself in the Flemington area, be sure to grab a bite at Blue Fish! It will surely be a meal to remember.

The restaurant is tucked behind a Walgreen's and proximate to an urgent care on a side street off Rt 31, so that might explain it. We arrived for dinner on a random Thursday. The dining room is large, clean, bright, and had a lot of empty tables, but few patrons. They have a take-out business and it was sort of rainy outside, so that explained it in my head. The server came right away and took our beverage orders (it's a BYOB and I still can't get used to that concept). We ordered our meals after our drinks arrived. I like to keep it simple on a first visit. If you've seen my other reviews, it sorta makes sense. I got the linguine, with mushroom sauce and meatballs. It gives me a chance to see if the pasta is boxed or not, how fresh the ingredients are, the taste of the sauce, and if they can make a decent meatball. The linguine was made in the kitchen from scratch and the mushroom marinara was delicious. The meatballs are amongst the best I've had in the area, including two NYC Little Italys (Manhattan and Bronx). The salad was fresh and crisp and the bread came out warm and delicious. I prefer my bread to be a bit more stretchy/chewy. We both enjoyed our meals. They were a good portion size, with nothing left to bring home. For dessert, I chose the affogato (special), my wife went with the fudge cake, and both of us had cappuccino.
