Brought the family to dinner because was craving that parmesan crusted chicken and it did not disappoint. I ordered it with mac and cheese and fries. All three kiddos ordered the steak medium / medium rare and loved it. My daughter snuck some of my mac and cheese and would not stop. She said it was pretty good. Both hubby and I love that its one of the few places that has steak in the kids menu because my kids love it but won't finish an adult meal yet. Hubby also got a steak with a loaded baked potato and he also loved it. Juicy, tender, flavorful steak. Service was fast, friendly, helpful. It was pretty packed and loud but there were lots of families celebrating graduations all around us so we can't complain. Great dinner all around.

Longhorn has always been a solid choice in a place for dinner. You know what you're going to get. We visited this location for an early dinner on the weekend. There was a wait so we opted to sit in the bar area right away where there was surprisingly a good amount of tables. Our server was great. She was helpful when we were deciding what appetizer to order. She was also quick with service. We decided on the Texas tonion as an appetizer which was very hot and had alot of onion pieces. We both ordered the Flo's Filet with salads. Our steaks were cooked great. My sweet potato was loaded the way I asked. The setback was the salads. While my house salad was good, not long into eating it the person I was with found a moth in their caesar salad. This ruined my appetite for the rest of my salad. The issue was brought up to the server who got the manager to come by. He apologized and took full blame for the mishap. He took the appetizer off of our bill. While mistakes happen, and the gesture of a covered app was good, I just thought some more could be done like their meal being comped. I have not been back to this location since but maybe soon in the future to try again.

I love, love this place! The staff is usually very nice and quick to take your order especially when we are a big group. They get the orders right with an occasional forgotten side dish or drink. But I give them props for getting all the orders right. The food is delicious and filling! They serve enough ro satisfy you and warm your belly. I really enjoy the grilled shrimp with rice salad and or mashed potatoes or fries. That is my to go meal. Delicious! This time around my husband ordered the chicken tenders with Mac and cheese and the parm loaded fries. He especially loved the fries! He said they are absolutely delicious! I regret not trying them. But there is always next time. So until then, I dream of the food I enjoy eating from here. And hope to return sooner then later. I recommend going and trying them out if you've never been.

Interesting thing is that I feel that lately I've been appreciating more the steaks at the Longhorn restaurants. Sometimes I just want to eat steak that is easily accessible without having to spend a lot of money. I typically order from the Lake Nona area one, but this time around I was in Waterford Lakes area stopped by this location. I have to say the service was good, the quality and the flavor was not lesser than the Lake Nona location. I know overall we had a great time.

We were seated quickly. The server came to us after a little wait. We got drinks and bread. Then we ordered. Our salads came promptly. Our food came shortly thereafter. Everything was hot. Portions are a good size. Refills kept flowing. Our birthday guest of honor got a free Sundae. Everyone was happy. All seven of us were crammed in a corner booth.

If truly seeking a good steak, I wouldn't have gone here, but I got out of work on a Friday and just wanted to give myself a treat, and it was conveniently located on the way home vice Outback on Lake under Hills. I got a 50/50 iced tea. Keith took my order, gave me bread and butter, but he forgot to click Send. It was 15 minutes of waiting for my medium NY Steak with asparagus and sweet potatoes. The cook did a good job. My steak had perfect grill marks and temperature. Yummy. K. was super nice and apologizing, but hey, it was lunch, and that was his job. I was in a good mood, so I tipped him $10, but I took one star off. I didn't forget to click on Pay when I tipped, didn't I? I noticed the dining room staff here had long hair with facial hair and tatoos. The manager walked by, asking if everything was ok. Maybe that was the ambiance Longhorn wants to create. I would go to Ruth's Chris or Fleming's next time. But never mind. East Orlando has no steakhouses, especially for lunch.

Went last night with my family I got the parmesan crusted chicken. My husband got the porterhouse with crusted Parmesan and my son got a steak. He was amazing. Great customer service and the food was literally so good.

Yum yum! I love longhorn. It's my favorite casual dining place for steak :) This location is great and the service is always on-point. Steak was cooked to perfection and drinks are strong

I usually always get the ribeye but today I just wanted a good ole burger. They didn't disappoint either. My wife ordered the mushrooms and they too were really good. Naturally the strawberry cake is and will always be a bit with my wife

    Bill with fraudulent charge

Re: Longhorn Steakhouse fraudulent policy lunch at Longhorn 997 Lockwood Blvd, Oviedo Fl 32765. The server was Tabytha K and the Service Manager was Brittnie Alexander. We spoke to and verified this information with both of these employees. The managing partner, Jonelle Lockwood, was not available. Everything went fine right up until we were presented with the check which contained an additional item: Mix/Green Salad Add for $3.99, which we did not order and did not receive. We assumed it was a simple error and brought it to the waitress's attention to have it removed. When I said politely "There is a charge for a salad on our bill that we didn't order", the waitress responded by saying "Oh, the manager was supposed to remove that item. I'm so sorry they didn't." The response seemed strange to me. If they knew the item did not belong on the bill then why was it still there? What if we had not noticed it? The waitresses response alerted me, it made me FEEL like something shady was happening. So I questioned the waitress some more. Summary of conversation, not specific quotes but very accurate representation of what was said: ME: "I don't understand. How did that item get on the bill if you knew it was not ordered". SERVER: "The restaurant has us add an item to the bill to improve service. If customers are seated for more than ten minutes without ordering, the servers are required to put something on their bill so we can register what time the customer came in. It helps them to monitor service." ME: "Are you saying that every time someone comes into this restaurant and is seated, if they don't order something within the first ten minutes an item is added to their check to establish the time they were seated? And then, hopefully someone remembers to take that item OFF the bill before it is presented to the customer?" SERVER: "Yes, it is Longhorn's policy to do that." ME: "But what happens if, like our bill, the party does not notice the extra item on their bill and just turns over their credit card and pays for it?" SERVER: "Oh, that actually happens quite a bit. I don't agree with the policy but I have no choice but to add an item to the bill if the party takes longer than ten minutes to order something." ME: "So Longhorn just gets to keep the fraudulent charges, the tax and of course the tip on the that portion of the bill every time someone doesn't notice it?" SERVER: "Well yes, that is what happens but I don't agree with the policy." ME: "Let me see if I understand this. Longhorn knowingly adds a charge to each patron's bill if they take more than ten minutes to order. Sometimes it may be corrected by management before the bill is presented to the customer for payment. But not always. If it is not corrected before presentation of the bill to the customer for payment, then it would be corrected if the customer notices the additional charge and asks for the correction. But if the customer does not notice the additional charge, then Longhorn just reaps the additional profits from that fraudulent add-on." Does that summarize what you are telling me? SERVER: "Well yes, but like I said I don't agree with the policy." ME: "Okay, bring over your store manager." Manager Brittnie Alexander comes over. I describe what happened and I relay the information provided by the server. I ask her if this is in fact the policy of Longhorn as described by the Server and if so could she elaborate on how that policy "improves the service" to the customer. Manager: "Yes, that is our policy. To improve service to our customer we add an item to the bill to establish the time they were seated at the table. Then the server has x-amount of time to ask what they want to drink, to ask if they want an appetizer, to ask for their order, etc. It helps turn over the tables by establishing a serving time frame." Me: "And you feel that adding an item that was not ordered to a customers bill helps to establish that service level? Or does it set the customer up to be cheated by the restaurant if the customer doesn't happen to notice it and you fail to remove it before presenting the bill?." Our server stated that management has to approve the removal of the item from the bill and that they often do not do that. But the server is required to deliver the fraudulent bill to the customer within a certain period of time." MANAGER: "Well the server should not have told you all of that." Then the manager got testy, asked if the bill was corrected and said that since the bill was corrected there was nothing else she could do. The food was good but I did not appreciate being set up for over-billing. I reported to attorney general for admitted systemic unfair and deceptive business practice to senior citizens.

The service was really good. Our waitress was nice, attentive and accommodating. The FOH manager made his way around and said hello. The food was pretty good, steaks cooked to our liking. We went in right around 5pm and we're seated right away. When we left around 6 or 6:30 there was a long wait at the door and outside.

Kind of place that you can wear any attire and would fit right in. The service was great, nothing in particular that stood out as over the top, but it didn't need anything like that. It was just good top to bottom. The menu was diverse enough for all tastes. There was a good variety of steaks, italian, etc. I ended going with the Alfredo, which was absolutely delicious, but I knew I should have went for a dish with more red sauce. The Alfredo sauce was incredible, albeit a little watery. The picture may not show it well, but there was a scoop of it right on top of the chicken, and it was really good. Next time that's what I'm having. The bread and butter were mind blowing though. Something about a garlic butter on a warm piece of bread is so incredibly hard to beat. I did have their "Delmonico's Margarita". Which is just their version of an italian marg. It was enjoyable, but for the price point of $17.95, I was expecting a little more in both taste and size. It was only a few dollars less than my meal. You live and learn with drinks though, can't knock it! Overall, great experience, and absolutely a recommended from me!

The restaurant was full of guests dressed to impress and speaking in hushed tones. All the steaks and chops around the room looked amazing with great aroma. The lighting is dim, but the large windows let in a lot of light to read menus. I recommend a table for two by the big windows overlooking the pool (and 9pm fireworks) or a comfy booth along the wall with the same view. We appreciated the perfect timing and temperature of our dishes. Our amuse bûche was a yummy ceviche packed with seafood. I would definitely order it if on the menu. The crudo appetizer was a standout dish - so fresh and flavorful, and beautifully presented. My smooth, delicious, piping hot sherry-infused lobster bisque was poured over a sizable slice of lobster, at the table. My dining partner was impressed with the delicious taste and temp of their Iberico Chop. I adored my perfectly seared and moist sea bass with fluffy gnocchi in a decadent, rich and creamy mushroom sauce (I substituted sea bass for escargot). The large, indulgent lobster mac side dish was an excellent compliment to both mains. It was flavorful with plenty of lobster; and the delicious crust on top would make amazing cheese crisps. Servers walked around with a variety of fresh, warm, yummy breads -- though 14 Prime breads in Jax taste better. The arrival of the crème brûlée flambée was reminiscent of a bananas foster presentation in NOLA. Unfortunately, the flames were the most interesting aspect of the crème brûlée. Flavor was not particularly special, and chocolate at the bottom tasted like pudding. Dessert was just 'ok' at Bull & Bear & Oscar's. Another small nitpick was the lack of black napkins for black outfits. Service was professional, yet approachable. Servers gave great recommendations without unnecessary upselling. They worked in teams, so there was always someone available to assist. Open 6-10pm daily, our reservation secured the table all night -- no rushing to turn tables over for the next guest. Some dishes include table side preparation, so prices reflect showmanship (e.g., lobster bisque poured at the table; table side César salad preparation; meat board & Dover sole table side deboning and plating; crème brûlée served in flames; strawberry ice cream created table side). We look forward to returning again and again.

It's clear the staff takes their work very seriously - hearing about the specials almost felt like a sales pitch - and the atmosphere is meant to be upscale and well executed. I recognize that as a vegetarian, I am nowhere near the target market for this menu. That being said, I found my entree and the bar's available ingredients lackluster, but the sides and dessert were delicious. The bread, glossed with butter and very fluffy, was divine. The waiter took my drink order, I asked for some options for a cocktail that were off menu that he'd have to check on, then the rest of my table got their drinks 15 minutes later, and I was told what I ordered wasn't possible. Not sure why drinks took so long or why I wasn't notified sooner, as this made our pacing a little odd. I ordered a blood orange heavy cocktail off the surprisingly short menu, and it was just ok - not a mix of flavors I'd normally go for, and very punchy. The greenery sprig was a visually appealing touch though, although it was a bit heavy handed on my neighbor's drink. My salad was yummy, with an interesting addition of potato chip like curls. The red wine that was ordered for the table was one of the best red wines I've ever had, very enjoyable, and I never normally like reds. The wine selection seems vast here - the menu is a true binder - and some options go over $2k for a bottle, so even the most extravagant tastes will find something they like here. My waiter gave me the tiniest bit of attitude upon finding out I was a vegetarian. Listen, sir, I didn't pick the restaurant, I know I don't belong here - yeesh. He did inform me that a cauliflower steak option was available, which I took him up on, but it was not listed on the menu anywhere. They should really add it to be more inclusive of all types of diets - it's 2026, you need to offer an entree that isn't meat, even if you're a steak and seafood restaurant. I'm never really that impressed with a cauliflower steak from anywhere, but this was one of the most bland I've ever had. It wasn't filling and the sauce had barely any salt or flavor to it - very lackluster. The desserts were amazing - I forget what we ordered other than the Creme Brulee topped with macarons and Butter Cake (OMG! WOW!), but everything I tried was yummy. It was a pretty busy spring Thursday night when I visited, but everything seemed to take quite a while to come out. A friend was dining separately at another table, and when we bumped into each other in the bathroom while waiting for apps, we both remarked on how long it was taking for food and drinks to come out. The atmosphere was also a bit chaotic - we had to wait in a cramped, awkward entry hallway for 10 minutes past our reservation time, which was a weird way to start the dining experience- they need a better waiting area. It was also very loud in here, which is not what I'd expect for such an upscale place - I could barely hear people across the table from me. It cheapened the overall feel. The price points are certainly impressive if you're wanting to come here to impress a date or business partner. Some bits were excellent, but the entree fell short for me. If you're getting what they specialize in, you'll probably have a better experience, but you'll also be waiting quite a while. I feel like the only person I know that isn't raving about this place, and although it puts on quite the show, there's some room for improvement. I WILL be dreaming about that bread and the salad's potato curls, though....
