I stopped by for an early dinner. Even though there were 2 parties ahead of us, we were seated quickly. Our server was so sweet and brought our drinks out right away and took our order. As you know, food orders are prepared pretty fast and come out quickly. I ordered the smoked turkey plate that comes with 2 sides and a choice of bread. I ordered the green beans, fries, and garlic bread to go with the smoked turkey. Everything tasted great. The inside of this Sonny's is fairly new. It seems renovated compared to other locations. Everything was very clean, including the restroom. There were several tvs with sports games on. The inside also has a nice walk-up to-go order counter. Overall, I had a great experience dining in. Walking into Sonny's it's very spacious and has been remodeled since the last time I came to this location. It looks really nice and decorated more modern. Our server greeted us quickly and got us our drinks right away. Once we placed our order we received our meal pretty fast, within about 15 mins. All the food came out hot and ready to eat. I tried the new Classic Bbq Bowl and it tasted great, it had a little bit of everything in one bowl. My Husband had the Hog Sandwich which had quite a bit of meat in it. My fav part of the sandwich was the jalapeño cheddar sausage. The kids meals were as ordered and no complaints from the kiddos which is always nice. Every time I have been disappointed by their ribs. They were not meaty. They were very dry. I don't know if they still have a salad bar but I did enjoy that. Lunch took over an almost frustrating hour and I was so happy to get my check and pay, I left my leftovers because I didn't want to wait for a box. I've had some good racks of ribs here over the years but today's plate of ribs, if you call it that, were dry and rubbery and cost every bit of the money for a full rack.
