My fav part of the sandwich was the jalapeño cheddar sausage. The kids meals were as ordered and no complaints from the kiddos which is always nice. Wasn't too happy with this visit and I've been coming to this location since the big deal was $3.99. Also not too happy with this most recent remodel. It's one of those look/form over function things. Stupid long booths, and way too many tables with hard chairs. Nothing welcoming about it at all. Lunch took over an almost frustrating hour and I was so happy to get my check and pay, I left my leftovers because I didn't want to wait for a box. I've had some good racks of ribs here over the years but today's plate of ribs, if you call it that, were dry and rubbery and cost every bit of the money for a full rack. Cold fries, heavy hard bark on ribs... waitress was nice.. the entire crew disappeared for a long period of time. leaving them with nobody to refill drinks and in one case and elderly couple in a wheelchair waiting to sit down for over 10 minutes. There were not many people there at around 6:30 pm on a weeknight, so we didn't have to wait for a seat. Our server was super polite and attentive. We ordered the loaded tater tots as an appetizer and they were devoured in minutes. I would definitely recommend that appetizer. I had the catfish sandwich and a sweet potato.
