Pure nostalgia coming to LongHorn Steakhouse. We use to go to their location in Fenway quite often and today we decided to visit the Raynham location for dinner. Billy was our server tonight and honestly his hospitality was amazing and genuine. Our meal was pleasant with no complaints. We got the Spinach & Artichoke dip, Parmesan crusted chicken with salad and mash, 12 oz Ribeye with salad and rice pilaf, and the signature side mac & cheese. I would never leave a bad review if the same thing didn't happen more than once. We waited an hour for our appetizers, they accidentally gave the table next to us our food when they had sat down maybe 25 mins after us, they never even told us of the mix up. Then they brought our side & never even asked if we got our actual food. Great overall experience for two at LongHorn near Boston. We came for a very early dinner at this steakhouse in Raynham, stopping in explicitly because we hadn't been to any Longhorn in a very long time. The large parking lot was pretty empty, so a little worried about the level of staffing, which turned out to be unfounded. The seating inside reminded me of a steakhouse: a bit dark with comfortable booth seating on the sides, and a central bar in the middle. We were seated promptly by the hostess, and soon after our waitress came by to take our drink order. Complentary fresh bread with honey butter was also delivered at the same time, and it was very good, holding us over until our food came (no need for appetizer, here!). Both of us ordered the top sirloin steak dinner: a 6oz renegade ($15.49) and 8oz renegade ($18.49), each with two sides. Broccoli, french fries, baked potato were included, and the cup of lobster chowder had a $1.99 upcharge. In keeping with theme, the broccoli was still in 'steak' form: it was a big chunk of broccoli, with most of the stalk left. It needed the steak knife to cut. The baked potato was loaded with butter, sour cream, and chives. The fries were perfectly prepared: very crispy on the outside, moist on the inside... surprisingly not steak fries, but just as good. Remember that we are tourists, so take this with a grain of salt, but I thought the lobster chowder was the best representation of this dish I've had so far. Everything (value, food, and service) about the experience was excellent. No need for a doggy bag here. There were signs at our table, suggesting that we could pay our bill online. I try not to complain... I know people who do and it bothers me when they make a scene... They didn't have milk... So my grandmother got a coffee... Cream was curdled badly... I had to get a different waiter to get her a coke (that she didn't want)... Because our waitress was doubling as a bartender and everything took a while.... They never asked us how our meals were... We were there for over two hours... First thing my aunt and sister did was order soup... And about fifteen minutes later I ordered the onion appetizer thing... The soup came out about 15-20 minutes after the appetizer. The Tonion appetizer... I was hoping for something like a Blooming Onion... It's basically frozen onion ring type things they heated... Got the steak tips... Thought something was up cause I know the cost of them in the store has been high... And the cost on the menu wasn't as high as other stuff on the menu... The steak tips were flavorless and dry... The menu recommended medium well... These were well... Dry dry... I was so disappointed I actually ended up saying something to the waitress...I debated simply eating. It cause I was hungry... but I was expecting good steak tips from a steakhouse. I told them "these aren't what I expected. These aren't steak tips. That's steak cut into strips." They told me "that's how they get them"... So that means they come frozen from a bag. I didn't want to get it replaced with a steak and a side of booger(or worse)... And I didn't want it rushed and screwed up when they took a long time to basically stir fry something out of a plastic bag... Waiting there for my food after my family is done eating... To feel pressured to eat quickly while they sit there uncomfortably watching, annoyed. The floors need to be sweeped. I looked around and there were sprinkled bits of... food? I'm guessing... Here and there... The menus looked beat up... The knives looked like they've been through hell... They gave us plates on plates... A table is only so big... I thought to myself 'this place is probably so expensive because they need to pay their dishwashers'. When I wait and wait... And thing after thing after thing is bad... You get one star. I am glad I didn't look at their bathroom. For a place with like $40 steaks... Just unacceptable... Maybe the staff is overworked? Maybe the chain just stopped caring? Messed up menus, scarred knives, frozen products at high prices... I don't blame the manager. I blame the owner. If I read this review as the owner, I'd be ashamed and embarrassed and reevaluate how my business looks cause quite frankly, I'm refraining from swearing. This experience straight up sucked. You're lucky my aunt wasn't upset. She raises chaos like an obnoxious Karen when she's hungry. Would've embarrassed me and you. You're extremely lucky it was me who ordered the steak tips and not her. The kind of quality those steak tips were... They were among the worst I've seen. Truly. The only place below you is this crappy pizza joint I know. And you are second to last only cause yours was slightly more edible. Again. Flavorless. Dry. Frozen. Bulk. No... You don't get my money for that. I would highly recommend no one else give them money for that either. Man it's hard not to swear while I'm hungry on my way home. P.s. I just got home. The Prejudiced Steakhouse Tuesday, August 19, I had the most hurtful experience at the Longhorn in Raynham. I asked for a table instead of a booth because I'm really short, a very small person, and the boots are not adjustable. Seconds later, a server was shouting at me from 2 tables away, saying, "you're gonna have to come over here because I'm the only one working and I'm just one person." I explained to him that I needed a table, but he gave me a grunt, rolled his eyes, and walked away. I sat there for 10 minutes, watching him take orders from new customers who had just walked in. Finally, he came over and said, "I can serve you, but it's gonna be a while." I said, "hey, I didn't mean to upset you, but I see that you're tending to people who came in after me. So, obviously, you don't want to serve me. It's OK. I'll just leave." He said, "Fine!" On my way out, I took 5 steps from my table to his section, but he couldnt be bothered with so many steps. he couldnt bother to be polite and professional. Worst of all, he couldn't empathize with my situation. Which makes me onder: When short people are met with so much indifference, how are people with mental disabilities treated? LGBTQ+? Obese people? Or the people society labels as "ugly"? The experience at the Longhorn, has left me very sad. read more

Three of us got the rib eye. One the New York strip. Rib eyes all cooked to our specs (rare to med rare) but all three looked so vastly from each other in size, shape and thickness. My Mom's was all gristle/fat for one third and tough as shoe-leather. Mine was huge and delish. My Dad's was OK but the smallest, nothing special. My husband's medium rare strip was well done and dried out as a result. Mom's fries had so much salt poured on them they were inedible. All baked potatoes and side vegs were as they should be. We left there vowing never to return. Prices keep going up, quality down, so why bother to eat out anymore? Staff, cleanliness spot on though. read more

All of the food was overcooked. In the photo you'll see a steak that was supposed to be cooked medium. It came out well done. My steak was supposed to come out medium, it was well done. My sister in law got the steak tips and they were small bites of steak which were chewy and also well done when she ordered them medium rare. Everything else was good though. This isn't my first rodeo at The Horn. I have been here several times and it has been a good experience. Mind you this is not a "high-end" steakhouse but rather a place to go for a steak. These steaks are not Prime Grade steaks nor is it boasted on the menu as to what Grade they are, but I do reckon that they are Select or Choice at best. It goes Prime then Choice then Select then lower and lower until you hit the Ghetto Grade. So, if you get even a Filet Mignon or Ribeye at The Horn this does not mean it is necessarily greatest quality of cuts. It is food and it is steak... and you can't fake it... But prices are decent, and they make a pretty phat Longhorn Old Fashioned for like 11 bucks or thereabouts. The Horn is decorated very well with lots of Western-theme kitsch and a lot of quite pricey stuff like taxidermy and horse saddles and giclee paintings, etc. The service is good, friendly, but quite casual or unpretentious, if you will. It is a fun place to hang and chill. Our waiter, William (a.k.a., Billy the Kidd) was very good. My salad was an Elaine Benes-approved "Big Salad" served in a Big Bowl. It was fresh and wicked krisp and cold -yes, I like COLD salad. Our steaks and sides were good. You can upgrade to premium sides for more money. The bread served is 2 die 4 -hot n' fresh and yumski AF. They are open until 10 pm which is a plus. Not much to elaborate on, so I am not going to elaborate... read more

Having been to many Longhorn Steakhouse' this Longhorn knows customer service. From the friendly greetings at the door to the awesome waitress who cared for us. Perfection was what we were served. Our steaks were cooked to a perfectly done medium rare and the other medium. The chicken was fresh and juicy. The side salad was fresh and vibrant. The kids tenders were made just right. The vegetables were Al'Dente. Asparagus was seasoned perfectly and the broccoli was delicious. The sweet potato was giant sized and loaded just right. Chicken tasted like the cook dumped the salt on it before serving. same with the baked potatoe, loaded with salt! had to scrape it off to eat an otherwise good meal. HOWEVER, a 71 year old and an 81 year old could not have a glass of wine with their meal because they didn't have their ID with them. COME ON LONGHORN! I came here this past week for lunch as I tried grabbing sushi at two other places in the area and they were only doing pickup. This was an alright experience. The 12 oz. Ribeye was ok. It was fairly tough in some places and had far too much fat for a Ribeye, but this is Longhorn, not Capital Grille. The side of fries were tasty and the house Cab was ok. The bartender was rude and kind of a dick. Complaining about people and just rude in general. I only came here because its close to the Hyandai dealership, where I was meeting my mother so she could buy a new car. It's safe to say, I'll never return here. read more

We went here on a Sat. early evening. There was no wait when we arrived. It was very noisy, mostly due to a screaming baby in the booth next to us. (Parents, if your baby SCREAMS, please be considerate and take him/her outside for a few minutes.). We both had steaks with a Caesar salad and soup. I had the corn & seafood chowder. It was a disappointment as the bell peppers overwhelmed the taste and the seafood was skimpy. My partner's French onion soup was good. My filet was good but slightly undercooked. My partner's sirloin was fair. I also had mashed potatoes which could have used more seasoning. My partner had the stuffed baked potato and enjoyed it. Our salads were a good size but came without dressings! By the time we got the dressings, we had finished our food. Otherwise, our waitress was good. Customer Service was great, food was amazing, and their hospitality Was impeccable. They even allowed us to charge our phones for the 4 hour trip we had ahead of us. Not only did they have a kids menu but they give the little one an activity to do while we waited. Michael (our server) checked up on us and even offered us extra bread. This place was 0 for 3 when cooking our recent meals. I took my foster son and friend to Longhorn on a Wednesday night. Service was ok - not much personality but the boys got their soda refills quickly. I had to ask and wait for my water to be refilled. The boys each got steak and ordered them medium rare and medium. Both were served well done. One was actually well done for most of the steak but rare around the bone. I'm still not sure how they managed that one. I ordered a hamburger well done and I got it medium served on a horribly greasy bun that I couldn't even eat. Caesar dressing tastes like mayonnaise- don't get it. It's disgusting. This is why I only go to Longhorn once every 5 years when someone else picks it. Better off driving to a Texas Roadhouse if you can - those are at least a solid 3 stars. read more

AMAZING!! that dish is one, if not the best chicken dinner I have ever had!!, the brussel sprouts that came with it were perfection! We didn't get steak, my husband and I had steak here in the past and it was just ok and didn't think we'd go back. Then we were given a gift card so we had dinner here again. On my way home from a meeting and I was hungry. So I stopped at the Longhorns and sat at the bar for my late lunch early dinner. I love their Caesar salads and I was craving a burger. They have great lunch specials and I had the bacon, cheddar burger combo with my salad. It hit the spot right away, and I was so glad that I stopped in and sat at the bar. Longhorn restaurant is one of my favorite restaurant at the Seekonk location. I just attempted to dine for the first time at the Longhorn at the Taunton location. Myself and my friend were treated terribly. We were told our wait would be 30 minutes that we would be texted. After 45 minutes we went in to check they said we had been told one hour. Staff was rude we won't be going back Longhorn Rt 44! Could have overlooked the error but the attitude was horrible! read more
