This place is just worn out. The place stinks, and our server would go away for such a long time we started looking around for her. We ordered drinks and didn't get them for over 10 minutes. It was 6pm on a Saturday and the place was maybe 20% full. It just had such a sad vibe. We love LongHorn but we won't be coming back to this one. First visit, and relatively new to the area. Have been to many LongHorn Steakhouses around the US. Walking in the restaurant immediately came across as dark and a tad dirty. Typically, when walking in its bright, vibrant, and welcoming. I didn't get that first impression here. However, with that said, the service was outstanding (thank you "Treasure"), as was the food. We each ordered the 6oz Flo's Filet one with a fully loaded baked potato and one with fully loaded sweet potato. One concern was one of the Filet's was much thicker than the other (I'm sure it was 6oz being thicker but smaller round) and as a result where one was perfectly medium rare, the other was definitely rare in the middle and I'm assuming due to the much thicker piece of meat. It was definitely at the bottom limit of what we would eat. Minor concerns were being out of Blue Cheese dressing (seriously?) and while my sweet potato was great, when they cut it open it cut the skin on the bottom, so all the butter ran out the bottom leaving none in the potato to melt into sweet yumminess in the potato, and instead my steak was swimming in butter (not the worst thing, but prefer it on my potato). Overall would I return? Probably, but may skip the drinks and try to bring the overall bill down to match my expectations for value. read more

Went to Longhorn tonight with the wife. We waited for over 10 minutes without being acknowledged by staff. During this time numerous staff members walked past us without a word... Hostess finally acknowledged our presence, by asking the couple behind us if they were next? Finally were seated, waitress was friendly and pleasant... so things were looking better. She took our drink order and offered to take our food order, we advised her that we would order food when she came back with our tea. When she came back my wife ordered the Flo's Filet. The waitress advised her that they were out of filets as well as T-Bones. We told her to give us a couple of moments to figure out what she wanted to eat. I intended to order an Outlaw Ribeye and I convinced my wife to try the same, so we thought we were good to go.... WRONG!!! Now we were told they did not have any Ribeye and that they also were out of several sides!!! We live in the area (5 minute walk), and have been regular customers for many years. Since covid. They have had spotty service and food but this may well be it. We ended up ordering ribs and of course the food was very fatty and the ribs barely had any BBQ sauce on them. I am not making this up! We usually bring leftovers home for our dogs but we left them on the table because the quality was such that I would not feed them to our dogs. I was here on one of my Relatives birthday. The service is alright, then waitress was kinda nice, but after we ordered the food took a while but once the food came it was so delicious! But I have to say the steak was kinda dry... And the fries were way to seasoned... I kinda thought it was gonna have less seasoning then expected. But I don't really mind. The service was horrible, the food was subpar. Me and a friend went here on a Saturday night, around 10 it wasn't busy at all yet our food took over an hour, just for the asparagus to be inedible. You can hear the servers and cooks in the kitchen yelling from the dinning area mad because they didn't get a steak temperature right, and mad because they were ready to go. It was a terrible experience and we could've easily walked out without paying because our server was so distracted. The manager was laughing about the whole situation as she sat down with on guest to try to smooth things over shes visibly watching two other tables get even more upset. After waiting for over 30 minutes (8:20 PM) I called the restaurant to inquire about the delay and was told they had a dinner rush but my order would be out shortly. I didn't receive my order until 8:40 PM. We were not provided any sort of compensation or apology for the long delay. When we received the food, it was lukewarm in temperature. We had been there before, but not in a while. We tried the Wild West Shrimp appetizer and it was good, as were the salads. For entrees, we had the salmon and the chop steak. Both were good and there was plenty of food. Too much really. The service was great. I probably would not get the appetizer again, but I would get the chop steak again. I came to LongHorn today with my classmate to celebrate the end of another semester--we've both worked hard and were excited to unwind at our favorite restaurant. We eat at LongHorn often, both together and separately, so we know what to expect and usually love the experience. But today, unfortunately, that wasn't the case. We walked in with our minds set on one thing: the strawberry salad. You know that feeling when you can almost taste something you've been craving? That was us. We were seated, and I noticed our server looked a bit frustrated. He had just been sat with a large party of six or seven, so I tried to be understanding, thinking maybe he was just overwhelmed. But from the start, he seemed to rush us--even asking if we were ready to order moments after sitting down. Still, we brushed it off. The waiter took our order and we after a few minutes (about 5-10 minutes) he came back and informed us that they were out of all fruit and couldn't make the strawberry salad. Disappointed, but understanding, we ordered something else and simply asked for all of our food to come out together. Shortly after, we overheard another staff member (who turned out to be the manager) tell the large party next to us that they also couldn't get the strawberry salad--but one of the women in the group pushed back and said someone at their table really wanted it and in the exact words strongly said, 'make it happen.' The manager responded that he'd "see what he could do." Moments later, that same table was served a fresh strawberry salad. That was confusing and honestly disheartening, since we were told it wasn't available at all. When we spoke to the manager about it, he was dismissive, saying, "Oh well, I got here at 12 and that's when I got the ingredients." But we had arrived well after 12, so it made no sense why we weren't offered the same courtesy. I guess we didn't have the complexion connection to be taken care of and treated accordingly. I guess we didn't matter enough and the manager took a moment to make a difference for somebody else but he couldn't do that for us. To top it all off: * Only half of our food came out initially (despite our request to have everything served together). * When I asked for more water, the cup came back with a visible hair in it--before I even touched the glass. * The steak I ordered was tough and dry like jerky, and I sent it back. I refused to pay for it. * The side salad that did come out had brown, wilted lettuce. * The to-go boxes were mismatched and insufficient (a tiny box for a whole entrée?). * And even after pointing out the hair in my water, the replacement glass was filled just halfway. The only person who showed kindness or concern was the hostess. She apologized and asked if we would return if offered a free meal. I told her honestly: no. Not to that LongHorn. We've supported this brand for years, but this experience made it clear--some customers are prioritized, and others aren't. It wasn't just a mistake--it was a pattern throughout our entire visit. The first thing upon entry is that you have to sqeeze through an area where the host is, that is only fitting for one person at a time- and if someone is walking out, someone has to yield space. Before this, there was a host stand that was out of the way and provided a clear walkway. We were seated in a booth between two other dining groups- on was a family, the other a couple. Someone at that table had a device playing extremely loudly. I heard every single word. It was so obnoxious. I never heard a peep out of anyone at that table, but whatever the person was listening to was able to be heard by all. It also had rough language...On the other side was a woman who carried on a speaker-phone conversation quite loudly for 20 minutes. While I realize that the restaurant cannot seemingly control this- there was a time a restaurant could insist their clientele behave appropriately. We could not converse because we couldn't hear each other at our own table. Our server was polite and friendly. Our salads arrived well before our appetizer, and our appetizer arrived about 3 minutes before our entrees. All of the food was quite slow to arrive- It was probably 10 minutes for salads, 30+ on the appetizer, and 45+ on the entrees. The food runner was friendly and polite, but dropped the food and ran, didn't ask if we needed anything. It would have been nice to have a few things we needed relayed to our server. My burger was overdone, it arrived very, very well done (I don't bother with steaks at Longhorn any longer due to the quality of steaks), and my husbands ribeye was underdone. He ordered mid rare- it came out as very rare- cold center. The food was well below average- but Longhorn has been on the decline for many, many years. We only go here when we have been given a gift card and as mentioned, I don't bother with the steaks any longer. What would be nice is if ANY restaurant insisted their customers behave respectfully. Summary- server was nice, polite, friendly. If it were only a server review, she'd have a 3.5. Higher if she got the appetizer out first and updated us on the slow food. Food was a 1.0. It was slow and entrees were of low quality and cooked poorly. Ambience- 1.0. I don't believe I will return to the Killian Hill location if given a gift card. Perhaps there are other locations with better grill cooks and respectful clientele. read more

So, hubby had a taste for a ribeye steak, & although we're surrounded by options (especially with all of the new options being built on Scenic Hwy in Snellville); we decided to head to our old faithful (LongHorn). It's been quite some time since we've last dined out, & it was a good time! From the polite hostess (wait wasn't too long), & being greeted by our server, DJ (Huge shout out to this young man, b/c he was awesome); to our delicious food & drinks... Ate at this location for the 1st time last Friday night. Didn't start off super well in that we were seated for about 7-8 minutes before being greeted. As a former employee, I know that's outside their acceptable greeting window (unless that has changed). Our server Starr was very nice & attentive. We ordered all our food as soon as she came to the table. She brought our drinks within a couple minutes. The app came out maybe 4 minutes after that. The food arrived maybe 5-6 minutes later while we were still eating the App (which I also know is a no-no), but we were ok with it. We had the Wild West Shrimp appetizer & split the Renegade Sirloin & Red Rock Grilled Shrimp entree. All the food was cooked correctly & arrived hot. I will say the ladies room had some major issues. Two of the toilets didn't flush properly & they were almost out of paper towels at 6PM. Not sure why they wouldn't have stocked up better before the dinner rush started. The manager also visited our table to ask how things were which I know is also something that's supposed to happen each time you dine in. They told me that the wait would be an hour and they would text me when the table was ready. after 15 minutes of sitting in the waiting area we saw people going in and being seated we never got a text or anything. So I went in to see what was happening and right away they seated us. The utensils were dirty with baked on food on the forks, the mushrooms appetizer was disgustingly drenched in mushroom soup and salt. I ordered a baked potato and 15 minutes after they told the waiter that it would be a 15 minute wait for the potato he decided to let me know. We made reservations for a birthday party today 7/21/24 called a few times to confirm. Showed up and they didn't have the room for us! They were able to accommodate our party but in a room that I assume they normally use as a break room, and acted as if we were the biggest inconvenience. The roof was leaking and it smelled like mold... still we were happy they had a place so we stayed. The waitress Ashley was very aggressive and acted as if we interrupted her day.... No menus no silverware, everything we asked for was met with aggression. I hardly ever do reviews and I usually remain silent since I to am in the business of dealing with the public daily. I will tell you that it was the worst experience I have ever had in a restaurant and would not come back to this location even if the meal was free... please do yourself and your loved ones a favor and drive a little further to literally anywhere but this longhorns. We also asked to speak with a manager and were told they were too busy to come speak with us! Honestly if the storm didn't knock have the power out in the area I would've never ended up here but what can ya do. I eat at this location often and have always had pretty good service. I go exclusively for the grilled salmon meal and $5.99 Margaritas. I've always had great experiences at the bar and at a table. The only time I experienced service issues is when calling in an order hence the reason for a 4 star rating instead of a 5 star rating. Stop by and give them a try . read more

This is the only restaurant that still has quality food and service since the pandemic. Every time my family and I come here, the food is hot and fresh and our waitress is always nice. I have even brought other people to this location and they say the same thing about the quality of the food.
