Stoped by on Sunday evening before Memorial Day. Took less then five minutes to get a table. Our waitress was an absolute pleasure. Ordered the "Outlaw Ribeye" with mashed potatoes. The meal came with a salad which was very fresh and plentiful. I made the mistake of eating all of the salad. I say mistake because it made it hard to finish the huge steak I got. The stake was cooked perfectly and absolutely delicious. The only complaint I have about the meal was that I was in a bit of pain after eating all of it, but that's on me for over indulging. Had to skip desert so can't comment on that. Maybe next trip. Five of five stars. Will definitely be going back. read more

The worst experience I ever had! We went there at 6:30 pm was told that for a party of 6 it would be 30 to 35 minute wait. 35 minutes went by and several parties of 4 or less was seated even though they came in after us. We inquired as to when we would be seated? And they said that it would be another 30 minutes! Now keep in mind that we have 2 small children with us 3 and 4 yrs of age. After waiting another 30 minutes which is now a total of 90 minute wait I started to be unglued after seeing a table of 6 being seated when they arrived after us. Now the manager says that a lot of people made reservations that is why everyone was seated. You would think they would have taken that into consideration before telling me that I would only have a 35 minute wait at the beginning of this ordeal. Venting over! We had a really great experience here, and Leslie was a delightful server. She was a genuinely happy person. Food was good and prices were too for the amount of food. I had chicken and my husband and daughter had steaks. They were perfectly cooked. My chicken was tender and side of broccoli was not over cooked. My husband and I went for our anniversary diner. The food was cooked perfectly. He had the full rack of ribs , amazing, I had the New York Strip and it was delicious. Our waitress name was Amy and even though the restaurant was packed with a waiting line she made us fill like we were her only customer. Service was great. Just Meh this visit. It's a hard review to write because it wasn't bad...but not really good either. Everything we had was bland. No salt, no spice...just meh. The onion petals (don't recall their actual name) have a very heavy breading. The dipping sauce was pretty good. The wedge blue cheese salad was large he leafs/ribs of romaine. I guess I thought an actual wedge or chopped salad. It was ok, but again nothing special. Husband's steak had no flavor, but was cooked to temp. My ribs were ok as long as you used the extra sauce or ate the charred pieces. Lots of meat on the half rack. Loaded potato was kind of sad. Not a big deal except it's an up charge - not worth it. I can't praise our local LongHorn enough. We chose to use curbside for the first time tonight, certain something would be forgotten due to our long order with lots of substitutions. WE WERE SO WRONG! Not only did we get every item, but it tasted delicious! All of the dressings, butters, sour creams, cheese and bacon bits, were in individual containers and there were plenty of them. They nailed it! The steaks were cooked perfectly. There were options for the whole family- even the picky ones. We will definitely be doing curbside again soon. read more

At best this is a good + steakhouse! Like the Service & menu items! The Romaine wedge with blue cheese crumbles is amazing as is the Flo Filet! The only negative I have is the table water is bad tasting pipe water meaning it's unfiltered tap water! So if you want good water you'll need to get a club soda w/lime or bring your own water! I wanted to like this place so bad, but I don't believe I'll be back, unless I'm not paying for it! Very nice layout, decor and I love the dim lighting. We were seated promptly. However it was about 15 minutes before we got our drinks and appetizers ordered. Fried pickles and Wild West shrimp for appetizers. I got half rack ribs and Mac and cheese.., Mr. had chop house steak with fried onions and mushrooms and Mac and cheese. Fried pickles were ok just not enough, a very small portion. So I would suggest each person get their own! The shrimp were awful, they tasted like they had soaked in vinegar with the banana peppers they were topped with. A generous portion of nasty shrimp. My ribs were just a step away from being warm. Very tender and bland flavor. The Mac and cheese was delicious. The steak was soooo salty, the mushrooms were salty. A person with high blood pressure might pass out at the table after 2 bites. I hated he let me try it. Hopefully, you won't get our server Chris bc you'll surely be sitting there thirsty! We were driving through Spring Hill, and we decided to stop at this steakhouse because we had never eaten at a LongHorn Steakhouse. We had high hopes, and we were honestly let down. We ordered the Texas Tonion as a starter, and it tasted like the cooks fried frozen battered onion slices. The batter to onion ratio was really uneven, and it didn't taste like a fresh onion in any way. The sauce served with the Texas Tonion is tasty though. After the appetizer, I ordered the Maverick Ribeye Sandwich and it was full of flavor, but again the quality wasn't the best. The Ribeye itself tasted like it was also cooked from frozen, and the French fries were extremely salty. My husband ordered from the steak menu, and he agreed about the poor quality of food. The Mac n Cheese was good considering everything else. Last but not least, we ordered a cheeseburger kids meal for our son that seemed decent enough. Overall for a steakhouse, the quality is really poor and the prices are steep. For 3 meals at what I consider "fast food" quality, $80 is outrageous. read more

Came in with my girlfriend last weekend and sat at the bar. The bartender, Ashley was rude and short when answering questions. She seemed more interested in socializing with coworkers and being in her phone than taking care of guests. As someone who has never been to a longhorn, I won't be returning due to the lack of service. As far as Ashley, she should probably seek other employment if she really is that unhappy with doing her job. read more

Not much competition in town, yes I'm poking at Logan's Rare Steakhouse. I want an actual steakhouse to open in Spring Hill. I'm tired of the chain restaurants opening up and selling a different distributor to the masses. Longhorn is not an amazing restaurant, it does many things well but steak seasoning is not one of them. Granted it's a Filet Mignon and damn the seasoning but if the meat is not high quality well then seasoning is your best friend. I'm not knocking Longhorn, great atmosphere, I've never had bad service but the pricing is a bit more than other typical steakhouses. Try the Palm in Nashville or the Heritage if you want high quality, unadulterated meat. But expect to pay for that quality ($100+). read more

We got our salad and it looked delicious went to put salt on it and the salt dispenser was filthy. Salad was very good "hence the 2 stars" we were only a couple bites in and our meal showed up. We had to rush eating the salad which I didn't finish :( so that I wouldn't have a cold meal. I should have stopped at the salad because the rest of our food was terrible. I can cook a Denver steak from Food Lion to taste better than what we had at a steakhouse restaurant. Compared to other steakhouse chains, they don't do a steak as well. Seasoning is seriously lacking. Sides are fine. Drinks are good. I really enjoyed my berry margaritas. We had a very good waitress (Kaitlin H), who was friendly, funny, and knew the menu well. The bread is better than the old version and it came out warm. The bartender did well with the alcohol ratio on my wife's mixed drink. My wine was good. Both of us had good salads with nice ratio of dressing to salad. The steaks were prepared perfectly and was tasty. So to be honest, I really didn't expect much out of a starter location, but it turned out better than the other Longhorns that we go to. Met a family member here for convenience. None of us knew where to go in the area. Adequate food. Good service. Very limited selection of very not-stellar beers and wines. Basic, unimaginative menu, and OK beef. Not bad, but not memorable. I had a steak salad that came with an undersized portion of steak. It was more cooked than requested but still edible. Besides greens, salad included tomatoes chopped so small that I could barely get them onto the fork, blue cheese crumbles, and a HUGE amount of inferior quality croutons that were not mentioned in the menu description. I hate croutons. After I'd gotten through all the greens and meat, my bowl was literally still half-full of croutons. There was no other veg in it. E.g., no cabbage, onion, peppers, carrots, or whatever. Not terrible, just a very dull salad. I wouldn't seek this place out, but I wouldn't refuse to go there again, either. LongHorn has come a long way since the "powder blue Chevette" days. This location is one of the nicest I've seen and they do a really nice job in every respect. The restaurant has a nice upscale yet rustic appearance. The hostesses are nice and welcoming. The wait staff is helpful and attentive. The food is well prepared and nicely presented. The steaks are good quality and properly seasoned. I can't say they are a higher quality then the peanuts on the floor places, but the whole experience is at least a couple notches above those. This is my new go to place for any day steak when I don't want to spend the kind of money the prime steakhouses command. It's just very nice. read more

Went for New Year's dinner, first time coming here. Wait staff was friendly and attentive but our server immediately announced that they were out of bread. I assume it was the complimentary bread. Ok I guess, I can certainly do without the carbs, but that seems like a weird thing to run out of. I ordered the ribeye and rice pilaf as a side and the rice was completely undercooked, like inedible undercooked. The sever apologized and quickly replaced it with a baked potato. Matt and Tayla at the bar are probably the best bartenders we have ever seen. They can have a full bar, taking out to go orders, making drinks for the restaurant and yet make you feel like you are the only person they are serving.
