A chain restaurant, but one of the better ones. Steak is the primary option, but the also have chicken and seafood. The prices can be high for some of the choices in my opinion. The service is always good, and I like that the Warwick location is more dim and cozy compared to other locations. I liked when they had more deer and bull heads and western decor in the past. It's gotten a little too bland looking. The stuffed animals and steer heads (even if they were fake) made it a fun place because it was different. I usually get the chop steak when I come here. After some retail therapy, my daughter suggested Longhorn because she likes their parmisan crusted chicken. It was only 3:00 pm so I didn't feel like a big dinner, so I ordered the shaved steak on ciabatta bread. My daughter's meal came with a side and salad. Since she's allergic to greens (not really, she just refuses to try it), she gave it to me. It was nice and fresh with great ranch dressing. She loved her chicken. My steak sandwich was just ok. It was topped with cheese, mushrooms and onions. We then split their molten lava cake, which was good. I guess I'm biased when it comes to dining out. Longhorn's Flo Filets are flavorful and pretty good for a chain restaurant. Excellent Sweet Potatoes, Side Salads, Broccoli and Asparagus. Good warm bread and butter. It's just so ANNOYING that every time I've been there the servers think nothing of sweeping the floor and spraying Windex while customers are eating. Having never been to this chain before, it was decided that it was time to try it out. What a mistake. . . The atmosphere is that be expected of any steakhouse chain. Saddles, wagon wheels, photos of crouched cowboys with guns in hand, and the like adorn every inch of the walls, ledges, and corners of the restaurant. Country music wafted through the air at an enjoyable volume (much unlike that of the Texas Roadhouse chain, who deem it necessary to blast you out of your seat). The waitress was nice enough, delievered our food in a timely manner, and was sure that our drinking needs were met. The food on the other hand is expensive and completely not worth the price you pay. They start you off with a basket of warm bread. Not in the mood for steak, I ordered a Parmesan Crusted Chicken Sandwich. It was bland, unappetizing, and did not satisfy my hunger as I had anticipated. The bf ordered bacon wrapped scallops with a small steak. . . which was expressed as being less than ideal and not something to return for in the future. If you are looking for a mediocre meal, this is your place. Otherwise, I'd check out some of the other steakhouse options. . . . I have to say I like this Longhorn better than the one in Seekonk. The food is better and the service was great! Everything was better prepared. The calamari was not rubber bands they were light and crispy with a sweet chili sauce. My salmon was perfect!! I will definitely come back and take that little extra ride. Our waitress was so cute!! Steak chicken fish and armadillo Both my wife and myself aren't fans of steak or beef in general. We would much prefer chicken, fish or crustaceans. However we do have friends that love cow flesh so in the interest of compromise we frequently seek a place that can accommodate all our tastes when we go out to eat with them. Fortunately Long Horn not only has lots of steak and burgers but also has some cool chicken and fishy dishes and lots of various shrimp and shell fish meals. Also some phenomenally caloric desserts and a huge bar with two wide screen TVs. Something for everybody. The decor is sort of tacky cowboy. Lots of western stuff scattered about and stuck on the walls and country and western music blaring in the background. It's easy to see why some people would find the ambiance stupid and artificial but I actually enjoy looking around at all the old movie posters, riding paraphernalia, cowboy gear and funky old photographs. I also found the representations of the indigenous south western wildlife interesting although one of our friends found trying to eat with an armadillo staring at her somewhat difficult and disconcerting. Long Horn is a nice place to go if you like enjoy beef or even if you don't. A steak house for people that don't like steak. One of my favorite lunch places. I wish that it was closer so I could go everyday. I always hit this location when I'm in the neighborhood. I always forget his name but there's a fairly tall dark haired gentleman behind the bar whenever I go there. He is quick to refill my drink which is always a plus. Always friendly and chats with me which is nice when dining alone. My food Comes out quick and hot. I get the fire cracker chicken wrappers and a salad with ranch dressing. The salad is always fresh and nice and cold. The wrappers are cheesy goodness with a dipping sauce that I use every drop. It's that good. While they have a large liqour selection and decent wine I would like to see more of a craft beer list. That won't stop my five star review since it's just me being a bit of a beer snob. :) if your looking for a quick and cheap bite to eat with great service I would recommend stopping in. read more

Wasn't busy at all. 5 of us ordered steaks. 5 of us received steaks that were cooked incorrectly. From the lack of care given to the parts of the restaurant that customers could see, there was no way we were going to send our steaks back to a kitchen we couldn't see. We suffered through our over or undercooked meals, with no visit by a manager to check on us, paid and left. Will be a long time before we even consider going back. My wife and I went this past Friday to celebrate a belated Valentines Day dinner. Since we got there shortly after 5:00, there was no wait. We ordered the Texas Tunion (?) Appetizer and it ended up being the best part of the meal. It wasn't greasy like the Blooming Onion at Outback. The two ribeye steaks we ordered were somewhat forgettable. We have had worse, but I think the steaks are better at Texas Roadhouse. I forgot our server's name, but she did a very good job with the timingof our meal. We also each had a mini cheesecake for dessert. Again meh there. The bill was over 70 dollars before tip, not a bargain at all. Again, Texas Roadhouse usually is more reasonably priced. I was given a gift card for longhorn, so I was excited to try it since I've never gone. Right from the start the feel inside was more of a "steakhouse" rather then a chain restaurant which is cool. The bar is really nice and set up well. I ordered to go and the waitress was nice and my order was done when I got there which I always love. The Texas tonion was pretty good, not as good as a bloomin onion but it wasn't bad. The primetime cheeseburger was perfect, exactly what you would get from a steakhouse. They include all kinds of sauce to dip everything in too. The food here was better then I expected and nothing was greasy, at all.
