Lunch order - Dinosaur and forget its name special makis plus a variety of nigiri.
    Nicole B.

Had a chance to try to this new place during lunch time. We arrived when they open the door at 11:30am. We were seated promptly, the restaurant is nice and clean with very simple decorations. The staff were friendly and helpful. The place started to fill up after we put in our drinks order. We had 90 mins for AYCE with two menus options - lunch or dinner menu. Lunch was $26 and dinner was $31 on Tuesday when we went. Dinner menu has more selections so it's $5 more. If you ordered nigiri but don't eat the rice, they will charge 50 cents per piece of rice. If you can't finish your whole nigiri, then it will be $1 charge per piece. We couldn't finished so we took home 8 pieces and paid the additional $8. Fish quality and taste were good for the price. If I'm ever in the area again, I'd definitely drop by to dine.

This was so good! It's a 90-minute all-you-can-eat buffet, and I definitely left happy. From the moment I walked in, the service was great. I felt very welcomed right away, and the staff were friendly and attentive throughout the meal. The dining area is a bit snug, but there's plenty of parking available, which is always a nice bonus. I had to try the mango lemonade, and it was absolutely delicious. It was refreshing, flavorful, and not overly sweet. I started off with some appetizers, and the beef short ribs were amazing. They were so good that after finishing them, my phone basically went into silent mode because I completely forgot to take pictures of the rest of the food! To finish off the meal, I had the vanilla ice cream, which was a nice sweet treat. It was creamy and satisfying, and they even served it in a to-go cup. Next time I come back, I think I'll have to try the green tea ice cream. Overall, a fantastic buffet experience with great service, tasty food, and plenty of options. I'll definitely be back again.

Rating: 4.0 Came to try the newly opened Mrs Momo which is a all you can eat sushi/asian food restaurant. There is a lot of advertising on social media which caught attention of a-lot of people. The place is relatively small but packed with table and seats and counter where they make sushi. It's very busy since it's newer and every time we tried to visit it was over 1 hour wait. My partner really wanted to go so we decided to wait this time. They do not do reservation unless you have at least 5 people. We called a head to check how busy it was and was told about an hour. We decided to head in to put our names down since they won't take your names down unless in person. Once you enter you go over the desk on the right to out your names down. They will give you a device that will ring once its your turn. We were told 75min and ended waiting about an hour. Once we came back they finished cleaning the table for few min and we sat down. Some important informations to note. Menu primarily consist of all you can eat menu but you can order a la carte but cannot mix within the table. You can also do a take out but a la carte and take out are probably not worth it as it will be significantly more expensive than all you can eat options. They also have kids pricing which is pretty good as its about 1/3 if the regular price. 5+ party is automatic 18%tip and if you leave food they can charge extra as well. Drinks and some desert and sashimi are extra charge as well. We of course chose all you can eat option and started ordering. I tried to order variety of items they offer to get the feel of what i like. They offer variety of food options including salads, appetizers, stir fried rice/udon/yakisoba, hibachi, poke bowl, nigiri/sashimi, rolls/hand rolls both cooked/raw, special rolls and desert. Personally i thought the sushi appetizers were pretty good overall and good value. They charge extra for sashimi but they don't for the appetizer which are part sashimi which is a good way to get around it. Seaweed salad was good. They also had some unusual items like fried red snapper and short rib. Fried red snapper was ok basically fish and chip without the chip and short rib was good. Yakisoba was meh. Hibachi was not bad i liked the shrimp the best. Nigiri was good but some had a-lot of rice. Rolls and speciality rolls were good. They seemed to add big portion or avocados and speciality rolls has lots of fried contents so its heavy. I got few of them like American dream mrs. Momo roll which were tasty but heavy. I also got ice cream at the end but it was alright. Service was very good side from the long wait. Waitress was nice and attentive and orders come in quickly. We even saw some birthday customers and staff came to cerebrate them offering them ice-cream and a paper crowns. Overall it's a solid AYCE sushi restaurant. It's nice that it's close to my neighborhood. Downside is that it's very busy right now because of the hype which i hope that it will come down over time. They are also expanding soon so hopefully that helps. Price is reasonable and food is decent. Personal favorites were most of the sushi apps, shrimp hibachi, short ribs, spicy salmon/tuna roll, and nigiri's. I would say not worth 1 hour wait but would come back when it's less busy.

Overall it was ok. Will i go often? Maybe once every couple of months or so. The quality of the sushi was ok. I would prefer if the rice was a bit softer and if they give a lighter portion of that so its not too rice heavy. The apps were decent too. The service was good and super fast! The ambiance is nice, bright and open. There were a lot of tables and they were all jammed packed! There's also decent parking. Its a good business model for sure though.

I had heard many great things about this place, so I was excited to finally give it a try. I initially expected the sushi to be similar to what you would typically find at a buffet, but I was pleasantly surprised by the quality. I also appreciated that they offered a variety of menu items beyond sushi, all included in the AYCE experience at a very reasonable price. Once our orders arrived, I liked that the portions were well controlled just enough to enjoy a variety of dishes while still feeling satisfied. The sushi and overall food quality exceeded my expectations and truly stood out. Our server, Grace, was very kind, attentive, and provided excellent service throughout our visit. I rated this place 4 stars primarily because the dining space felt a bit small and crowded at times. However, I understand they will be expanding soon, which should greatly improve the overall dining experience and eliminate the tight seating areas. I would definitely return again, though I would likely visit on a weekday when it is less busy compared to weekends.

Salmon sashimi (no rice if it is sashimi)

It is an all-you-can-eat in a 90 minute timeframe, or a restaurant for ordering à la carte. A waiter takes your order on a tablet and brings you the food. Dinner service has more options than lunch. It costs about $33 per person for dinner. Drinks are not included in the AYCE price. We got a variety of appetizers, sashimi (without rice, so they add a 50cent charge per piece), rolls, and three alcoholic drinks. The apps--salmon skin salad, spicy tartar tower, beef short ribs, and takoyaki. Each portion is small, which is exactly what I want in an AYCE/buffet. I would eat all of them again, especially the salmon skin salad. We wanted the octopus app, but it was already sold out for the day. It was actually really crowded on a Wednesday 3pm afternoon. The drinks at around $10-12 per-- sake sunrise, Tokyo mule, lychee martini. I really like all of them, especially the sake cocktail. They weren't too alcohol-y tasting. The sushi--rainbow, Mrs Momo, Dinosaur. I think they're all comparable to the sushi restaurants we've been to in Rhode Island, which is a compliment. I liked all the rolls, even if at a AYCE you shouldn't go after rice (reasons being: cheaper than meat, it's a carb). I would have preferred if the rolls were 4 pieces to a roll rather than eight. The customer service will vary depending on your server. Restaurants shouldn't have variability in their waiters... but it's very noticeable when observing our waiter and the other waiters. Our receipt had 3 errors: got another table's receipt, had an extra two drinks added on our tab, and included an item we ordered (but didn't get, but didn't affect the total). In addition, while trying to explain the errors on our receipt, our waiter kept........ asking the table next to ours to verify our receipt. This experience takes it down a one star and totally explains the other negative reviews on this Yelp page. Overall, the food was yummy and I like the variety for the price. We would still go there again, with the hope that this customer service snafu was a one time occurrence.

With minimal AYCE Sushi spots in RI, this was extremely welcomed by my belly in the Ocean State. Saw on social media about this newly opened spot in Warwick and happily made our way there for lunch on a Saturday. We got there at 1130am and it was pretty empty but by the time we left, it was about 75% full! Inside is clean, bright and modern - booths and tables available. Plenty of lot parking. Weekend is dinner only and is $32.95 pp but please note that sashimi is an additional $0.50/piece. We were seated in a booth near the back and put in our order. We started off with calamari, seaweed salad, Takoyaki, pork gyoza, Asian wings, tai jalapeño and yellowtail jalapeño - I also put in an order of hibachi salmon and chicken fried rice. For sushi - we got the Hot Lady, Mrs Momo, Love Roll (sans cream cheese) and Chicken Tempura. My faves were the pork gyoza and chicken fried rice - for an AYCE spot, the fried rice was pretty good! Of all the rolls, we both liked the Hot Lady best. I appreciated the smaller portions for the apps so you don't overindulge but can try alot of different options and then reorder what you really liked. I will have to say, the fried rice was way more than I thought it'd be - I would've liked a smaller portion. We finished off with some ice cream - was disappointed they didn't have any green tea as listed on the menu but it's included with the cost so can't complain too much! We really liked it here and will prob return - there's another AYCE sushi place we frequented but it has way less options for non sushi items so this is a great addition to the sushi game. You do have a 90 min time limit. Service was great and friendly, dishes were brought out and empty dishes cleared quickly. The fish is fine for what it is - it's not "top grade" but good for an AYCE. Def go check this place out!

I learned of Mrs Momo via TikTok. My roommate and I love all you can eat sushi so we marked this as the next place to visit. We rolled into the restaurant 5 people deep and were sat immediately. The menu is extensive. They do have rules when it comes to AYCE, understandibly so. Either everyone is AYCE or a la carte. Luckily, they offer such a wide variety of options that even the pickiest eater can find something they'll enjoy. I had a few of the sushi appetizers, the pepper tuna and the jalapeno yellowtail. Both were fresh tasting and the sauces served with it were great compliments. I also had the red snapper katsu, the crispy exterior the perfect texture! I tried a few rolls, crunch tuna, dinosaur and Warwick. I liked the crunch tuna the best, it's like a kicked up version of the classic spicy tuna! I want to note, the service here was INCREDIBLE. Every few minutes, our server Amy was checking in with us to see if we wanted to order more. Everyone helps to run food and each person was so pleasant, it really made the experience even better. The place is super clean and bright! It seems small but yet they can really pack in a lot of people and it doesn't feel crushing. Everything about our time here was great. We are already planning our return visit. If you like AYCE sushi, highly recommend this spot. The price is right too at $35 per person for DINNER on the WEEKEND. So go now!

The wait time is insane~ average of 1hr to 1.5hr with no reservation or call ahead due to the lines and amount of people and limited seating. Maybe weekdays aren't bad? But we made it to a weekend and on our second attempt, I definitely wanted to try it and wait a good 1 hr and 10 minutes. You will get a ringer when your table is ready. Your table isn't really ready, and it will take another 10minutes for a cleared clean table. There's an all you eat policy with 18% gratuity for groups of 5 or more. The portions are smaller but you can order as much as you want. The rolls themselves are average size and not on the smaller end~ the rest is small bites. We went through the portions quickly since we came hungry, we tried to order as soon as we sat down to make sure our orders came in a timely order due to the high volume of orders all around~ Fun addition, your birthday will be celebrated with ice cream, a candle and a bell with attention and singing and a sweet crown that lights up!~ a tad awkward and embarrassing, but aren't all birthday announcements anyways~ I ordered and tried a good amount so my mentions will be my favorites~ the steak and short ribs~savory and flavorful. Sushi was a blur, but the pink mango was sweet, the spicy sushi's are interesting and flavorful~ sashimis are my favorite because they are lighter and fill you up less~ certain items cost more~ fried items were juicy and tender with good taste! Overall~ this is a solid sushi place for an average all you can eat. Worth the wait? Maybe if you want to make sure you're hungry and ready to attack, but extremely hungry close to hangry? No. Worth the experience but careful for those anxious around tight and packed places~ maybe wait for the crowds/popularity to lessen or for the expansions to complete~

Well we did it. The all you care to enjoy sushi joint in RI. Let's hop into it after the queer o meter ranking. 10! Yay Mrs Momo! The place was diverse in age, race and gender and apparent by a quick scan of the clientele. We went on a Friday night and there was a 30 min wait at 5:30 pm and it was worth the wait. It's not buffet! Which I like, personally. It's fully table service and you order from an extensive menu. Everything is made to order, delicious and fresh. Seriously, there wasn't anything I didn't like. I would've given it 4.75 stars if I could with .25 taken off because it's so loud in there and yes, I'm old. Our waitress was super nice and went over the basic format of the place before we ordered, it's also outlined on the menu (top right corner I believe) 1. 90 min limit 2. Order what you'll eat or as you go, no ordering 5 rolls and taking them home. If you do, there's a charge. 3. Sashimi and sushi has $1 charge per order I'm unsure how drinks are handled I drink water. I'm booze is a charge but I THINK soda was included. It's $33pp weekends and a couple less weekdays. The bill shown is our 1/2. There was 4 of us and she split the bill, so about $44 pp including tip with no add ons. Not cheap, but sushi really don't and if you can eat 2 rolls and an app yourself, it's a wash. Anything you eat over that is a bonus. It's not a great deal if you can't eat that since you can't take leftovers. It's a matter of self knowledge and figuring out if it's worth it. As far as quality, cleanliness and service it has my top notch rating. However, if I want to sit with friends, chat over a period of time in a quieter, less hectic setting? I'd go elsewhere. All in all I'd recommend and be back! Nicely done Mrs Momo! Cheers!

OK, this place has been all over my timeline so I went to dine in. Overall, I think it's fine but it is extremely overhyped and I will say this business is very smart! I've seen some reviews where people were not finishing all of their food and having difficult interactions with the staff, and since then their menu has changed to include more clear details about that policy. Either way I went in for the all you can eat, and there are a lot of options, which is great However is the very basic level items. Usually when you go to a restaurant, they have specialty rolls that are a mixture of different meats and a mixture of sauces that make it special. However, this place they're specialty rolls, at least for the lunch menu, we're quite basic. It was one meat, maybe one sauce and truly not that special. So I feel like if you're going just to eat a lot cool you're good but if you're going to really enjoy crafty sushi rolls, this is probably not the place. The service was quick. My server was nice. My food came out piping hot and generally had no complaints about the quality of the food. The one thing I did not like was their eel roll. The sauce was really offputting, but I forced myself to finish it so I would not be charged. Ultimately, I think it's a fun experience to go and say you had all you can eat, but if you're looking for intricate creative sushi rolls, this is not the place. It's a no-frills menu with a really cute restaurant design.

Wow wow wow. I am so happy that this place opened! I've always wanted to go to an all you can eat sushi place! The food was so so fresh. All the rolls were made with love, everything fresh rolls were nice and tight. The crab Rangoon was out of this world and the strawberry marg was nicely balanced. Service is fast and efficient. It's a beautiful little restaurant and they plan on expanding! You gotta check this out, just make sure you bring your appetite and your "comfy" pants

Attended the soft opening of the brand new, AYCE sushi restaurant: Mrs. Momo Sushi. So excited to have a full service sushi, hibachi, poke, noodles place by us in Warwick! Everything was delicious & fresh, staff was fun & the space is minimalistic to keep the focus on the food. You can do AYCE or order a la carte. Yes, I was recognized by the manager when I walked in because I had been stalking them on Instagram since I saw the sign go up! And they have big plans for the space next door. Highly recommend. At first glance, you don't see much from Elmwood Ave, but veer to the right and everything opens up on the left, with a parking lot in the back. Ornate statues lead you to the entrance, and once inside you are instantly greeted with bold colors and beautiful art everywhere. I wanted to take the opportunity to try some Cambodian food, so after some quick research, I opted for Beef Lok Lak, which happened to be one of the lunch combos. I chose fried rice and nime chow for my lunch options and settled back to wait for my feast. They bring you a complementary pot of hot tea, which I enjoyed. I believe it was a straightforward unsweetened black tea. Perfect for me. Before long the rangoons arrived. I literally said "wow" when the runner set my plate down. Beautiful golden brown, small bubbles visible all over the outside, promising crispy goodness. And it delivered. What I didn't expect what the slight chewiness to the wrapper that enhanced the experience. The filling was super creamy and delicious, but I prefer my rangoons with scallions as well. However, that didn't stop me from enjoying every bite. Then my lunch came. The beef was perfectly cooked, the dressing tangy and peppery. The nime chow was herby and super fresh as it should be. And the rice had this extra depth of flavor that made me think of tomato paste? A lovely addition the dish. I had a great meal here and the rangoons are definitely worth having! I'm looking forward to coming back and trying more of their menu!!

For the longest, I thought Apsara on Hope St and this Apsara were the same owners, different locations but I was fooled. They are different, so I came on a Saturday evening with my friend to give this one a try. They have a parking lot but it is small. However, there is lots of street parking around. When we walked in, every table was full and we had to wait about 20-30 minutes to be seated. Since we had time to look at the menu while we waited, we ordered right away: BBQ beef, stir fried thin egg noddle with seafood, and thai garlic chicken wings. While waiting for the food, I had ample time to take in my surroundings, including all the elegant décor around the restaurant including a lot of red and gold colors. Our food came out all together after about 20-30 minutes. The portion sizes were excellent, and all the food was still hot. The beef was cooked perfectly (for me) and cut into manageable strips. It was tender, a hint of sweet, and savory. It came with some sweet pickled shaved radish, cabbage, and carrots with cucumber. This with the meat created a contrast in texture and amplified the sweetness. There was also a clear sauce and that was also really.good. The fried noodles were delicious. They were thin so it seemed like the flavor penetrated inside the noodle. It had a good amount of seafood including big chunks of imitation crab meat, shrimp, and something else I was unfamiliar with. It also had mustard leaves; they weren't bitter, they just had a neutral green leaf flavor (maybe spinach but stronger). The chicken wing order came with about 8 wings, sitting on a bed of cabbage and topped with jalapeno and chili peppers. They were still very hot and crispy, and had a savory and a subtle umelike flavor. I wish the garlic flavor were stronger. I am excited to come back again and try something new on the menu.

The pros: the new owners are very friendly and personable. The wonton soup is still great and has even more wontons and pork lately. The Peking ravioli seem to be even tastier than they have in the past. The cons: in the past 2 weeks, I've ordered several dishes that were very different and sub-par compared to the food under the former owners. The chicken and broccoli was very goopy and the chicken tasted spoiled. I had to throw it away. I ordered chicken teriyaki and that chicken tasted sour as well, as though it was spoiled or had some type of spoiled marinade on it. This happened to me twice. Last, the waitress is no longer there I guess, so there is one person trying to work the front and serve tables. It's not working out. The new owners need to get the old server and chef back if they want to keep Hong Kong's long-time customers.

The original owners were dedicated to their business and worked very hard to maintain high quality food and exceptional service. It is sad to say I am no longer a loyal customer to this establishment. The new owners have taken a restaurant with a beaming reputation that is decades long and have turned it into a culinary wasteland. What was once one of the busiest corners in Arctic is now a ghost town. It is a shame to see a business that was superseded by such a strong reputation be diminished by the lack of consideration by new management. To all new and occasional customers be forewarned this is no longer the place you have heard others rave about!!!

I have never had a bad meal here, and I always try to be adventurous and try something new each time. With that being said, I always get an order of the Chongqing diced chicken. It is one of my fave dishes of all time (be warned, it is SPICY. Not for the faint of heart). The sauteed pig intestine with chili is another fave of mine. The dining area is spacious and cute, and the staff here is always incredibly nice and knowledgeable. Very helpful when there is a lot of dishes you might not be familiar with ! Chengdu is a must try if you are in the Smith Hill area of Providence. In fact , it's worth a trip to Smith Hill all on it's own.

When we went inside, there was only one other party there and no music, so just whispers and the sounds of utensils against plates. There are about 4-5 booths and 1-2 regular tables to choose from. Since l am not familiar with Sichuan cuisine, I had Al help me choose my dishes. I went with the dumplings in chili sauce, fried rice, eggplant in garlic sauce, and chongquin chicken. While we waited, we were given water. The dishes came out at different times. They first served us the dumplings which were really good. The sauce they were in did have some chili sauce, but it was mostly like a sweet soy sauce and really tasty. It came with about 6 dumplings with a perfectly cooked wrapper and filled with flavorful pork - simple but delicious. Next was the eggplant. I was expecting a heavy garlic presence, but it was more like a sweet and sour sauce. The eggplant was very tender, but really hot so we had to wait to let it cool down a bit. The rice came after. I honestly think this was one of my favorite dishes since it was perfectly cooked, great flavor, and good portion. Lastly, the chicken came out. There was a large pile of chicken, but half of it was peppers. The chicken was cut into little bite sized pieces, each fried perfectly. Some pieces were more tongue numbing than others but it was nothing aggressive; very gentle and comfortable numb. I would have liked if there were music, but the no music was fine too; an escape from chaotic reality. Our total was around $50, which wasn't bad for the amount of food we got. I would come back to try other items.
