I figured this place was a generic Applebee's type steakhouse. You should never judge a book by its cover. In my opinion excellent atmosphere low lighting with southwestern style decor. I have been here a few times now for lunch and dinner so I'm ready to give my two cents. Being a chain and seeing as I travel 45 weeks a year, I eat out often. Longhorn is always a welcome stop and I typically get a burger or club for lunch and a filet or the babyback ribs for dinner. The restaurant here is fairly new and very clean. The service has been great every time I stopped in and had zero complaints. The food has been hot, steaks cooked as ordered and the salmon I ordered on my last trip was awesome and I'm wishing I would have tried it here sooner. Having said that, the Filet snd ribs are really good and hard to pass up, but at only 600 calories, I opted for the lower calorie salmon and rice because the ribs and steak are starting to grow on me, literally. On Friday May 3rd, 2013, On Fridays some of the ladies from my work get together and go out to some place different for lunch. This Friday we decided to go to Longhorn Steakhouse. Now, I am vegetarian, but decided to keep an open mind and see what there was to try. I am sooo glad I did! They have this amazing salad called Grilled Chicken & Strawberry Salad. I just go it with no chicken and it was so delicious. The right amount of citrus from all the fruit and salty from the onion and feta! A great meal with the Broccoli Asiago Cheddar Soup, with aged white cheddar. One of the best meals I have had here yet!!! Everyone was super nice and great service!!! read more

The service was fine. The salad was fine. But I had ribeye, and it was the worst steak I've ever had at a restaurant. The steak, cooked medium-rare, was really tough all throughout the eye of rib. There were a couple pearls of gristle as well. When I got to the rib cap I hoped for a reprieve, but no. Even tougher, and I literally had to spit out the second to last bite because it was all gristle. Couldn't chew it enough to swallow. Just a terrible steak by any measure. read more

Went there for a late lunch. Tried calling ahead multiple times to make sure they had a table instead of a booth (my mom has bad knees and it's difficult for her to get into a booth). After 3 attempts of the phone just ringing, we decided to chance it. We get there and there's not that many cars in the parking lot so we figured it should be fine. We were greeted my the host and, while he was friendly enough, he seemed very unsure and like it was his first day. He told us there was a table but it needs to be cleaned. No problem, we can wait a few minutes. He comes back a few minutes later to tell us it was actually a booth not a table and we would have to wait awhile for one to open up. Mind you, I know there are capacity restrictions due to COVID but there was a tire row of empty tables with only a couple of booths next to them occupied. We could get seat behind someone in a booth but not a table a few spots down? Okay.... We ended going across the street to the competitor's where we were seated, at a table, with no issues. Sir Loin called and wants his shoes back. Normally you visit a chain restaurant because you want something predictable and decent. My recent visit to this Long Horn was anything but typical of the chain. The service was fair - only two mistakes, oh yeah - we only ordered two things, um. We got there before the big rush. But the sirloin steak was more gristle than meat. I swear it was like the bacon wrap wasn't bacon, but just more gristle. No manager checked with us after the meal, probably a good thing. I loved the service. The food was really worth the price. My Chinese friend was not used to the bitter taste of the steak, the manager came and gave her a different one (which tasted the same). We guessed that they used graphite grill to have that bitter taste, even though it tasted good for us, that friend hated it. Also for Chinese, when we say "well done" we meant well done to the point that there isn't any pink meat inside. I guess they don't get that many foreigners here in the store, our well done had pink meat. They only gave me one coke, and no refill, not sure if that was normal. read more

We came here for a quick lunch and based off of reviews being good. The place was packed! Clearly, a popular neighborhood lunch spot. The service was friendly and fast. We had a few people tske care of us and they were all great. The food was pretty good. We had the parmesan roasted asparagus, which was probably my favorite part of the meal just because I love asparagus. Tomato basil soup was pretty good, bread was hot, squishy and delicious as usual. We got the steak tips, which were a bit fatty for our liking, unfortunately, and some chicken wraps, which were deep fried (not something we would usually order), while the flavor was fine, it was a bit too greasy for us. By far the best steak chain I've been to. The wild west shrimp is an awesome appetizer, the salads are great and if you eat any of the warm bread served up, there's no room for dinner! The steaks are usually done quite well. The steak tips were too salty, but otherwise, every meal I've eaten there has been fine. I have never been disappointed here. The food is always flavorful, meals arrive hot and void of that sat-in-the-light-too-long crust (like we always get at Chili's). My kids can find something that they like (even the picky ones), and taking a group is no problem. My favorite menu item is the strawberry chicken salad. This is overall a good chain steakhouse. We went on a weeknight, and it was not too crowded. Our waiter was great. Food was okay though. We had salmon salad, and pork rib. I noticed that the menu, interior decor, and overall aesthetic was suspiciously similar to another restaurant in New Jersey (also called LongHorn Steakhouse)! I wonder if the owners of this restaurant are aware that there is another restaurant that seems to be copying their business model. The food needed to be heated up, even though we ate it within 10 minutes of walking out of the restaurant.
