The lookout was just what we were looking for after a long day of travel. (See what I did there?) Well curated southwest style dishes and excellent service made our visit a delight. Do check the specialty cocktail menu for a nice selection of beverages. A bit spendy, but we felt we got a good value for what we paid. Our only complaint is it is hard to see what is probably a spectacular view due to the glare from the harsh indoor lighting.

My wife and I came here to listen to the music and grab a dinner. We were greeted and sat down by very friendly person. We then sat there for 30 minutes drinking water and nobody ever came back. I posted a picture of our table after 30 minutes, just two menus and two waters. The manager walked by us five times and there were two couples that were sat down after us ordered and got their food and we were still waiting for somebody. Our server finally came up and we said no thank you we're just gonna leave. We were prepared to pay probably $60 for two dinners instead we went to a different place. I gave it a two because the music was pretty good.

We made reservations online for 6:45 PM because we wanted to try a new place. When we arrived inside of the Lookout Restaurant, no one greeted us. We stood around and had to ask one or two of the servers at the bar where we needed to go. Finally, Karisa Ranlord (we later found out was the manager according to our server) came up to us and asked if we had a reservation. She seemed very confused when we gave her our name and then she asked if we made it on OpenTable (we had). She had a stack of papers with notes written on the back of what looked like a children's menu and a handwritten seating chart that she was scanning for our name. Finally, she took us to the patio to a corner table (with no heat lamp) and another party's name on the table. We ordered appetizers, drinks and dinner. The appetizers came, but no one came back to our table again (not even to refill water) after that until 7:45. The manager and servers seemed to know the other guests, and they were super friendly with a few of the tables around us, but never made it back to ours. It was like being at a party you weren't invited to. Very surreal. The original server who took our order never returned, and then a new guy finally brought our meal (an hour later). We asked him about our drinks and if he could bring us some more water (& my daughter asked for mayo for her sandwich). About 10 more minutes passed and he didn't return. Finally I went and found him at the bar and told him we just wanted to cancel the drinks, we just wanted our check and more water. He was holding the mayo for my daughter and said nothing. I took it and left. Ten more minutes passed and he actually came out with the drinks I told him to cancel. We asked him again to just bring the check and water, no drinks and he said he would send the manager. We told him we just wanted the check and didn't want to speak with the manager. Soon the manager wandered over (after she and the server had a super obvious conversation in the dining room where they pointed at our table) and asked "Is there a problem here?". We explained we just wanted our check and to leave and that we had waited for our drinks and food for over an hour without even a water refill. We felt invisible and totally ignored. She said she would comp our bill which was fine but it was New Year's Eve and they completely ruined it for us. Honestly, it was a totally ridiculous and bizarre situation and needless to say , we will never return or recommend it to anyone.

Amazing food!! This place is underrated. Tequila pasta is to die for. We had a amazing server named Anthony. Will be coming back. :)

Enjoying live jazz during Happy Hour 1600-1800. Ordered the quesadilla and it came in waves. First the three folded tortillas with melted cheese inside and a cup of salsa. Thinking that was it, I began eating and then another sever arrived with the guacamole and sour cream. Not very organized. It was okay. Happy Hour margarita $6 and quesadillas $7.

The bands are a fun addition to their happy hour. The bartender knows how to make a drink. The food is just OK.

We came two nights for dinner as the first night was a hit for service, food and desired atmosphere. Its a casual to semi formal atmosphere but I can see a little relaxed casual in jeans or some sneaker paired attire. Outside seating was our preferred option on both days as the weather and tree with stringlighting decor set the tone. The staff were very attentive. The menu was pretty easy with a great selection of meal options but not excessive. This gave way to the chefs/cooks being able to serve up meals with precision, taste and presentation. First night dining- We chose cocktails Thai Grapefruit Martini and Fig and Ginger mule. These were made with perfection. We also ordered an Italian Espressotini. We decided on crispy calamari, greek salad, short rib ravioli. The service and food was so good we went a second night following. Second night dining We decided for drinks watermelon Spritz that was rimmed with a slice of watermelon and an unsweetened icetea. Meals were crispy calamari, short rib ravioli and Bolognese. Yet again the drinks and food were prepared to perfection. The food was light and very flavorful. The experience and food was so good that this will be the measure for dining in the future.

Our waiter was kind, but the service was a bit inconsistent throughout the meal. The outdoor seating is a nice option, especially on a beautiful evening, though the cushions could definitely use some refreshing and cleaning. Now, food-wise, it was a mixed experience. My husband ordered the Baja Shrimp Sandwich, which felt more like an appetizer than a full entrée. I had a salad with added salmon--it was fresh and well-prepared, and the salmon itself was cooked perfectly, but the portion of salmon was tiny and didn't feel worth the added cost. My teenager enjoyed the Early Riser burger with a side salad. The truffle fries were solid, but the side salad felt overpriced for what it was. Overall, the experience just didn't quite match the price point. I really wanted to like it more, and it's honestly surprising to me that, with the same ownership as Graze, the experience felt so different.

I ordered a house salad with blue cheese, and tortilla soup. Friend asked for more muffins; server didn't acknowledge the request but did bring more of them. Our food came. My salad had the blue cheese dressing already in/on the salad. It was very good. The tortilla soup was more (flavorful) broth than meat with lots of tortilla strips in it, and a few kernels of corn. Friend's burger and salad was exactly the way she wanted it. I had to ask for more water. Friend had to ask for more water as well and each time we were served with no comment from the server.
