They have a car park for Platform, but there's also street parking nearby. Loqui is pretty casual. You pay at the counter before eating, then take a seat somewhere. They mostly have outdoor seating here. Service is friendly. The ambiance is simple, clean and modern. The food here is cheap, simple and fresh. It was served within 15 minutes after ordering. The tacos are good. They really know how to season their food. The shrimp was well seasoned. I was able to try some of their vegan options which were also very delicious. The only thing about this place is that the outside was a little dirty. It was hard to find napkins. We were recommended the chicken and Chile tacos but my favorite was definitely the birria. I was also impressed with their habanero salsa (the dark one) because another issue with these fancier taco restaurants is the salsa isn't spicy but there's definitely had a kick to it. Nice outdoor eating area and service was quick. Also, it's almost impossible to find street parking but there is a lot right across the street that charges only $2 an hour so don't use the $15 valet attached to the place. Dropped by Loqui since I was taking a peak at The Platform. I had the place bookmarked already, so it was the perfect time to try it out. I loveeee chipotle, so I wanted to try this place out. I got the beef bowl plate and a side of chips and guac. The portion is great, and I do think the meat ratio is better than Chipotle's, buttttt...I fear I like the overall taste of Chipotle a lot better. I also wish it was more customizable. Like picking the different ingredients for your bowl, but everything in the bowl was still good. I won't completely tune out this place, but will only come back if I'm around. I wanted Loqui to be good. I really did. Made a point to come here for lunch after seeing this place sometime ago, when I noted it to myself as a better version of Chipotle. It wasn't. As much as I love, the concept of Chipotle with generous portions used at Loqui as well, I stopped, going to Chipotle some months ago, because all their food being really spicy. I hate spicy food. I was excited to find a place that was similar, with better ingredients, and hopefully not spicy food options available. Everyone at the front counter was super nice and attentive. Being here for the first time I had a ton of questions, and the lady answered all of them with a big smile on her face. I ordered a chicken bowl and they assured me that it was not spicy. It wasn't! Thank you. Found a nice table outside dug in. And wow... it sucked. The spices used and the flavors created here are pretty terrible. I really really, really did not like the taste of the food. In addition, believe it or not , Loqui does not provide any regular salsa. They only have hot options available. No sour cream either. This Loqui spot is my favorite because of the location, it is such a vibe. Definitely one of the many great restaurants at the Culver City Platform. Loqui is located at the Platform, a small modern shopping plaza with many new shops and dining options. They have a parking structure, but I opted to park on a side street, since I was only picking up my online order. I ordered the chicken taco and mushrooms on the side. Compared to other dining places in the area and inflation of the dollar, this place is a financially viable option with a decently large sized taco. The mushrooms were also a great side that helped fill the extra percentage of stomach space I had left. And the food here tastes great with quality ingredients. We got a plate (bowl with rice, pinto beans, cheese, guacamole, pickled onions with half chicken and half shredded beef). And we also got to primos (mushroom and pork). The primos are like giant tacos and the flour tortilla is superior to the corn tortillas. These were quite filling. Everything tasted delicious and was freshly made. They're quick service so you order at the counter and then they'll call your name when your food is ready. The indoor space is small, but they have a few tables out in the back, and then a larger dropped patio with tables for you to enjoy your food at. I've had their mushroom taco & pork on corn taco and both were amazing! They seem simple, but are so flavorful and fresh. Mushroom is a little bit spicy too so caution if you're more sensitive to heat. They're decently sized tacos - bigger than street tacos with more items on them. I'd say 1 is great for a snack, and 2 or 3 for a meal. I tried their chips and guac over the weekend too and thought it was a good amount of guac! read more

On 5/31/24 I picked up a bunch of different meats and a pack of flour tortillas to take home for my family. I ordered : Birria -very good but I noted not as amazing as it was when I first discovered Loqui years ago -but still I would order again and again. Garlic shrimp- ok but not amazing wouldn't order again, nothing wrong with it just not super delicious Pork cochinita - it was very salty and no one ate any of it after the first bite. The salsas are excellent , flour tortillas very home made taste and birria worth coming back for. Very disappointing on the pork cochinita as it's a favorite of ours.
