I have not been to Rero's in awhile, so when we went back I just had to update my review. The place is just as great as it always was. It was are go to for awhile, but we tried a bunch of other places. This one always wins for sort of fast food, you order at the counter, but great food. Everything on the menu is wonderful. I am hooked on all their burritos. My grandson loves the burrito with French fries in it and that is the only one I can live without. Their guacamole is so good and you get a good portion. We love their rice and beans. Their beans are especailly great. They are so flavorful. The place is always clean, the line moves fast and you can eat there, have delivery or pick up. We often do pick up. It is super cute. It is in a very small strip mall on Lincoln Blvd. Park in the back. You will love it. read more

Rero's in Marina Del Rey is great. We do pick up there a lot and now and again delivery. The place is clean, cute and smells great. The service is so nice. Just go to the counter and order what you want. They have a great selection of Mexican food. Their tacos and taquitos are great, but our favorite is their burritos. The chicken burrito is great as is the beef one. You can have almost anything put in it. They also have great beans and rice. Their beans are some of my favorite in the area. Parking is in the back. The prices are fair and all the food is fresh and really good. Most people get pick up or delivery, but they do have some seating, not a ton, but there is always a space to be had. The Cali burrito with al pastor meat is so great. You will love it. It does not matter what you order. It is all good and you will be happy. read more

I've been eating this locations food since they opened. My partied about it, brought it home all the time. It was so good...WAS. I've even ordered on DoorDash to my job because I was craving this place. Today I went in person, placed my order, waited a reasonable amount of time. When I got home to eat my meal I noticed a sweet chocolate like tastes in my California burrito with shredded beef or I've never tasted in this burrito before. My sister's eating taco tacos and she said she tasted the same thing. It tastes sweet which I've never had happen before. The chips are undercooked and half were STALE. I really like this place but this is off putting and really disappointed. This was the top of my list until I get sick of it. Not sure how I feel about coming back. read more

Very cute and clean spot in an unassuming area! Free parking in the back and good food! Spot is obviously known for their burritos and I highly recommend the surf and turf. Also got some tacos but my fave was the shrimp!! Also tried the asada and the carnitas tacos. Unfortunately the carnitas here were not my fave. Another new and delicious spot in the marina! I ordered the surf n turf steak and shrimp burrito and it was stuffed to capacity! The meat had great flavor and the shrimps were large. My fiancé and I have a hard time going to any other Mexican spots in Venice/santa Monica area because they always fail in comparison to Rero's. The food always tastes extremely fresh, the workers are always friendly and helpful, and the restaurant is always very clean. Though, we typically eat it at home because this is some serious comfort food that makes me want to go to sleep after lol. Can't recommend this place enough! Rancheros fries: to die for. The best rancheros fries I've ever had, we get them with the al pastor. California burrito: amazing. I add rice to mine and dip it in salsa verde. It's truly soooo good. Side note: the place is typically kind of empty so you're not gonna wait long for your food even if you order in the store and not online. read more

I got the surf and turf burrito and went to this spot because it has 4+ stars and I've passed it so many times on my way home. For an $18 burrito I'm going to have high expectations! What is up with all this upcharge on simple menu items? Seemed to be made fresh to order, but it was extremely soggy, falling apart, and honestly not worth the price. Ordered delivery upon finding it on Yelp. After reading the reviews I was encouraged to give it a try. Ordered two Chicken Hard Shell Tacos. Two Beef Hard Shell Tacos and the Chicken Cucamunga Burrito. The order didn't take too long to arrive and the driver was proficient and professional. Also ordered Mild Sauces (on the side) that turned out to be fantastic paired with both proteins of Tacos and Burrito. The Beef Hard Shell Tacos being my favorite of all three items. The Hard Shells were fresh making for a delicious Crunch. Like I said. The Sauces adding more flavor and deliciousness to the equation. The Chicken Cucamunga Burrito was a nice size, also built fresh. The Guac and Sour Cream inundated the Burrito making it a little too creamy being more of, it, than the protein and other ingredients. Really tasty breakfast burrito. Too bad they are stingy with the chips and salsa. I had to ask for extra salsa a few times because the cups are tiny. Really great salsa, all 3 I tried with complex tastes. They only gave me about 7 chips. Sad face. The service was nice enough and its a clean little fast casual shop, not a ton of seating. The burrito itself was huge and delicious. My priority is always the beans and they were very good accompanied with eggs and a nice flavor chorizo. Two meal burrito for me, it was over $15 with tax. I went back for lunch and ordered the taco salad. I was a little disappointed at the lack of depth. It literally was filled with lettuce with a thin layer of meat, guacamole and sour cream. I did see any cheese. I would have been more impressed if it had at least beans. For that taco salad I give only 3 stars. This may just be a breakfast burrito spot for me. I'll try one more non breakfast item before final decision. The flavor of the meat is good too. I don't recommend the taco salad. It's not worth the price, in my opinion. El pollo locos is better. I love Rero's! I work around the corner so this spot is extremely convenient on my sometimes short lunch breaks. I usually get their taquitos & guac (beef and potato) which are amazing. I get them with cheese and sour cream added and they don't skimp on the toppings! I haven't tried their burritos but my daughter is a fan! Service is fast and friendly. Andrew who runs the restaurant is awesome! He always remembers me and makes sure I'm taken care of. It's also s family business, started by his grandmother. I think they have a few locations. Communication. It's the heart of all service. In the end, lack of communication makes a bad experience, linger for a long time. We came by today for breakfast take-out. We waited for a while, watching as the cooks seem like they were waiting for something. The staff looked like it was stalling. Lo and behold, somebody comes rushing in with EGGS. The cooks hustled to get our order out. Rero's ran out of eggs before 9:30. Now all my sisters and dad can talk about how long they waited. Then suddenly small things that we experienced with our meal, took a different degree of understanding: - didn't receive our flour tortillas, received corn instead - food in containers slid to one side, compromising the experience - potatoes tasted old and shriveled. We won't be back anytime soon. Food wasn't bad at all. Good beans & rice, good burritos, eggs were good. But now the only thing we will remember is the Lack of Communication. A friendly suggestion would be to retrain the manager, so they can communicate to the guests, that "we regret to inform you that we ran of eggs, we had a rush, but eggs our on their way". I live in the hood and was looking for a reliable new taco spot that's super close, so I was happy to find Rero's! I typically come to this shopping center for Jersey Mike's and I haven't been here in a minute so I was surprised to see Rero's here. I had the three soft taco combo (chicken, al pastor and carnitas) and the tacos were delicious! The flavors weren't bold or overpowering. These were well-made, tasty tacos made with fresh ingredients. The Habanero salsa has some pineapple, which makes for a nice flavor profile, but I prefer the more conventional hot sauce that has no sweetness.. The staff is friendly. They offered sauces galore and they offered chips to people who didn't order them. This is my new regular spot. read more

Got home checked the 6 containers and could see they were obviously not half a pound each. Got out my kitchen scale and they gave me 1.65 lbs of carnitas total. On an order for 3 lbs. I got my refund via door dash. Wanted to let everybody know that these people are dishonest fraudsters. You'll find very solid breakfast burritos at Rero's. Fresh tortillas, perfectly cooked eggs, tender meats, soft and tasty potatoes, solid size. The salsas are also quite good. When it comes to the basics, Rero's is on the mark. So, if you want a full, yet simplistic and fresh breakfast burrito, this is your spot. I just wanted a little bit more flavor in with my BB. I wish they had the option to add some grilled peppers and onions. And maybe make the potatoes crispier (hash browns or tots) to give the BB more texture. Still, the basics were nailed for a soft, fresh, and melty BB. The service was friendly and quick, which was also appreciated. There are plenty of places to get breakfast burritos around here. I came back and tried the California burrito! Last time I tried the asada tacos and chicken quesadilla which were bomb but I was so full I couldn't try anything else. Today I came for the California burrito and it did not disappoint! When I return to a spot I'm looking for consistency in flavors and service, and I wasn't disappointed. I know ReRo's just opened and they are still smoothing minor issues that may come up but my experiences have so far been great and I really look forward to coming back again. The food was delicious and tasted fresh, the ambiance was nice and the staff were excellent. I met the owner Andrew and he was warm and helpful. So I had to return... the second time I ordered a breakfast burrito (again) and the hard shell potato taco which was amazing and some soft shell tacos, everything was so flavorful and delicious. I was excited to try this place after reading reviews. I went for a shredded beef soft taco and chicken flautas with guac. The cashier was super friendly and my food was prepared pretty quickly (weekday around 5pm). The taco was good - the meat, tender and flavorful. The flautas were huge and they were very generous with the guacamole! I could only eat one. The chicken was flavorful and moist. I can't say it was the best taco or flautas I've ever had, good but nothing really special. I'd be down to go back to try a few other items like the esquite, enchilada or burritos. read more

OMG...Finally had a chance to try Rero's MDR outpost...What can I say other than beyond fabulous. When my breakfast burrito arrived, it was HUGE...So huge I barely demolished a third of it and am sitting down to polish off the rest for lunch. Rero's prices and beyond great, their portions are beyond plentiful. It was amazing to see into the kitchen and realize that every item on the menu is made "Hecho a Mano" right there!!!!! The restaurant is clean, the staff beyond friendly, and parking is free and plentiful. read more
