Stopped here this morning on the way to work for a burrito. The menu is pretty sparse but I just wanted a bacon, egg and cheese breakfast burrito to go. Theirs come as a meal, you can't just get the burrito, it comes with a side of beans, crema and a little cup of pico de gallo. Damn good burrito, stuffed with eggs scrambled with bacon, cheese and some green peppers. If you're hungry, stop here, this thing weighed a pound, no kidding. Fresh pico was good, so were the beans. I walked in with six people on a Saturday morning for breakfast. We were the only ones in the restaurant at this time. Which was lucky for us because we instantly were able to meet Lorena and talk with her about how she made the decision to start the place. She was a pleasure to talk to and was very engaging and genuinely happy we were there. Four of us ordered breakfast burritos (all with a different combination of breakfast meat, eggs, chorizo, cheese, salsa, etc) and one ordered pancakes. (Two little people split one burrito because of how large they are!) Put simply, the food is delicious. Small restaurant inside a strip mall next to a 7-11 gas station. Few tables inside, much of the business may be takeout. This is not a traditional "deli" as most options on the menu are Latin or Salvadorean (e.g. burritos, pupusas). The inside and kitchen, which are visible from the front, look very clean compared to similar establishments. Ordering takes place up at the counter, and the food is paid for at the cash register after eating; there is not full waiting service. The breakfast burritos and chicken burritos are up with any of the best I've had. It's funny how many burrito joints have been springing up around town all trying to perfect the corporate, appeal to the masses burrito, which can often be consistently good but never great. The burritos here are simply great. The breakfast burrito combined egg, sausage, cheese, and potato inside the burrito. Nothing was dry and everything was seasoned well and flavorful. The chicken burrito has refried beans, incredibly flavorful chicken, rice, and salsa, and a little bit of sauce (crema?). The combination of these ingredients in the hot, fresh grilled tortilla have been stunningly enjoyable both my visits. The burritos are so good, I am afraid to try anything else because I want a burrito every time I eat there! So my wife and I are definitely regulars and go once a week. Today we tried some of their Central American food. I had the chicken and beef versions of the Sopes. Had no idea what it was beforehand but wanted to try something new. it's a fresh made tortilla lightly fried topped with meat, beans cheese some pico and a yummy sauce. It was messy but very tasty and messy is a good thing.My wife had the pork and cheese papusas and said they were real yummy too. wonderfull food for a low price. Such a family friendly place. I went in for breakfast and was greeted as if they had known me for years. Felt like I went to a tia or abuelas house and the conversation we had was just natural. Terrific local business! We always end up ordering the steak burrito because it is so yummy. It's pretty big, so if my husband and I are looking for a lighter lunch, we split one. The sauces are very good -- I couldn't decide between the green and the red, so ended up alternating, LOL! Very nice casual place and very good customer service. I'm glad to see that it seems to get a lot of business (but not TOO much ... we've never had to wait for a table). BTW, this restaurant is very convenient to the Manassas Regional Airport. read more

Very passionate about the food. Unfortunately they no longer have hot tamales as they said they just don't sell well. But the rest of the food is amazing. I'm not that familiar with some of the Mexican food so to some extent I can't tell you what I ate. I eyed the cow foot soup but didn't have enough nerve to try it but was told it was great and would make a new man out of me.
