Worst place in Camarillo!! Had Easter breakfast there and I ordered Ortega cheese omelet with crispy bacon! The omelet had no cheese inside and they slapped a piece of sliced cheese on top. Came here based on yelp reviews and I was not disappointed. The service is so friendly and fast, the restaurant is cute with lots of seating inside and out. I ordered the poblano eggs Benedict and it was outstanding. A little spicy which I love! I had the home fries crispy and they were a delight. My husband ordered the huevos rancheros with hash browns. Fast and attentive service from our server who was very on top of it. Bottomless mimosas were delicious, our server was really attentive and made sure to keep them coming! After looking at their menu and watching the food videos on the big TV , I decided to bring my wife back for date night dinner. Big Mistake! I ordered the Ribeye, medium rare. She ordered the salmon. We ordered an appetizer too, chicken wings. The wings came out at the same time as the dinner. They were smothered in hot sauce. Inedible. The steak, which looked nothing like the picture, and was priced higher than the website , was charred to a crisp and tasted awful. It was thin and didn't appear to be 12 0zs like listed. The broccoli side was cold on both plates. The salmon was previously frozen and tasted like cardboard. No tarter sauce. We also ordered sautéed mushrooms. They were canned, with no butter or garlic. My wife ordered Chardonnay which was also terrible and terribly overpriced. Surprisingly the 2 Coors lights in bottles that I ordered were only thing that was good. The food was terrible. The staff doesn't know what they're doing. I sent an email to management asking them to make things right, but I got no reply. I won't be back. I suggest that you eat dinner anywhere else but here. The very first time we came here, they sat us down with no water, menu, napkins or silverware. We left after 15 minutes of nobody acknowledging us. We decided to give them a second chance, and we are so glad that we did. We came by on a Friday evening, but since it was about 7:50, and they close at 8:00, we were going to leave. We went to Latitude 34 to have brunch but found out they are closed on Tuesdays. We walked over to Loru's Cafe instead. We have never been here before. What a great discovery! We tried the Lobster Benedict (seasonal) and the Strawberry Nutella Crepes. We were pleasantly surprised! The lobster was very flavorful on its own, but in the Benedict, even better! The crepes were good as well. There are many choices on the menu, as well as some delicious adult beverages. Alexis, our server was great! He was polite and very attentive. I stopped in for lunch on Tuesday April, 19th at about 1:00 pm. The waitress was nice and friendly. I ordered a Cobb salad with chicken. I asked for the grilled chicken as opposed to the crispy chicken. When the lunch arrived, the chicken was cold, rubbery and impossible to chew. When the waitress eventually returned, I told her and showed her the rubbery and half chewed chicken, actually bending it in front of her.
