    Quesabirria Tacos

Amazing service, presentation, and food! Went on a busy Friday night and was given a 35 minute wait but waited maybe 15. Despite the crowd, we had an attentive server and fast food delivery. The Quesabirria Tacos were amazing! The meat was tender, portions were large, and the flavor of the consume paired perfectly with the tacos. Super cute place for a date night or dinner with the girls. Will definitely be back!

Went to Los Agaves with my family (11 people), and we had a really wonderful time! The staff was so kind and did a great job serving our large party, especially with two children under the age of 2yrs old. We went on a Sunday for lunch, and it wasn't too busy when we arrived, so we were seated instantly. I think we arrived just before the lunch rush (around 1:00pm), because it quickly became packed!! The food was pretty good, they did an amazing job navigating our party's dietary restrictions (some gf/df, allergies, and vegetarian), though I will say nothing "stood out" as exceptional to our party menu wise. The prices were very fair! The restaurant was very clean & the vibes were good, a nice blend between casual and classy. I also have a service dog and they were great accommodating her. Gave us the perfect table out of the way of foot traffic so she wasn't in the waiter/guest's ways while they walked by, which is always so helpful!! I would return based on the kindness of the staff and convenience of it. It was a great place to go on a Sunday afternoon :)

The food was great, but the service was amazing!! We showed up on a Sunday night with a group of 25. They didn't bat an eye. They gladly seated and served us. Chips were refilled nonstop. Same for water and drinks. Our server was friendly and incredible. She took all orders without writing anything down... and got them all correct. The salsa was fresh and everyone loved their food. I recommend this place for big groups. We plan to bring our team back when we have another tournament in town.

We love coming to this place whenever we don't feel like making food at home and want something delicious! This time around, I accidentally ordered tacos that come on flour tortillas by default and did not ask or request corn. When they came out, the servers were so polite and friendly to change the order and quickly brought out new tacos on corn tortillas. I'm infinitely grateful for their help and patience as I'm sure it was frustrating. They are always friendly and helpful and their menu has a great selection without being overwhelming. Definitely a fun place to hang out and watch a game with friends too! There were lots of people just hanging out watching TV and drinking margaritas.

This is a nice place in Westfield right near the freeway amongst many other restaurants and eateries around. Really good vibe and extremely family friendly on a Saturday though there's a separate bar too with huge screens. Service was very good and prompt and I enjoyed my Fajita Burrito which included a really delicious flavored rice along with the veggies and shrimp. The shrimp was cooked to perfection and veggies were just right. The portions were huge so we ended up ordering a bean dip on the side with the on the house chips and salsa. There's nice decor which brings a lot of diversity to Los Agaves and that stood out for me. All in all definitely a nice place for a fun weekend night or just a weekday stop.

Ooooo a good birria taco?! Sign me up. Los Agaves has a delicious Birria taco. I felt like the dippy part was thicker and pretty spicy, but the tacos themselves were so so good. Also tried the enchiladas suizas which were very good.

First I'll just state the facts. Fancy decor. Cool vibe. Big menu. Over ambitious expectations unfulfilled. We heard about this place. It had good reviews. But after today we've decide we'll have to consider the source. I mean we like the person that hyped it up. But they've been life long land locked Indiana regional diners their entire lives. What we found was that once again, the food looked better than it tastes. It's not Mexican. It's not Tex-mex. What it is is Indiana-mex. That's like expecting professional or D1 level Mexican and what you actually get is community college food court. It looks pretty but it was salty, soggy, and the rice had peas. Who puts peas in the rice other than the San Francisco chef for the Rice a Roni back of package recipe. That's just nasty. They don't belong together unless it's poorly made Chinese food, but peas are not meant to sully Mexican food. Anyway I digress. Back to the food. It was salty. The favors were ordinary. The food was cliche and lacked imagination. It was a meme of every other tortilla, bean based burrito establishment in the Midwest. In other words you have a better chance of experiencing a Michelin tire around your mid section than experiencing a Michelin level dining experience. The search continues.

Super friendly staff. We chatted with the hostess for a bit about the other Family of Grindstone restaurants. We started with the short rib poutine. We had it last year and frequently joke we need more than 1. The meat is so tender and there is a good amount of it on the dish. The app has plenty to share for the three of us adults. I also love the added touch of the scallions. For our meals, I had the Jambalaya pasta which was a large serving with plenty of meat, my husband had the tenderloin sandwich (which was massive and the best he said he has ever had on all of his trips to Indy) and our friend had the piggy melt grilled cheese (Mac and cheese and pulled pork!) That sandwich had incredible flavor and I said I'm getting that next time. We ended the meal with bread pudding bites as the photos on here looked delicious and the waitress recommended them. They certainly did not disappoint. The restaurant has a bit of a nicer vibe and there are certainly some people that were there dressed better than us, but it is not a stuffy atmosphere. Delicious food for very reasonable prices. Good beer selection as well.

The strawberries in the salad didn't seem fresh. They were mushy and I didn't want to eat them. If I go back it will probably be for drinks and maybe appetizers only. The zucchini bread that comes with the salad was really good.

Our table was ready and the Manger himself took us to our seats. This adorable three story red barn was dripping in charm and homey vibes. We sat on the second floor, we didn't know it had stairs or we would have asked for a first floor , a few of the group are not great on stairs, but as a team we made it work. Plus note is that there is a bathroom on the second floor. Speaking of the bathroom it did feel very much like a airplane bathroom, a litte Claustrophobic. The early bird dinner is the way to go, three course for a great price. We started by getting the deviled eggs and the mushroom soup. Both were amazing, the soup was so creamy and the eggs had just the right amount of firmness. I had fried chicken which was the best I have had in the Indy area. My husband had stroganoff and he felt like it was made by someone's granny. I also tasted the pork belly, and it was out of this work good. Desert was simple individual cheesecake with sauce, nice small size. We will be back and will try the rest of the menu.

We had the crab cakes and crab & artichoke dip for apps and our lunch entrees were the fried catfish sandwich with fries and the filet with mashed potatoes and collard greens. For bevvies, we tried their rosé and red zeppelin English ale. All of it, every bit and bite, was 10/10. Food breakdown: - Crab cakes: succulent lump crap meat within a lightly battered and flash fried coating. They come on a bed of arugula with a light dressing and dipping sauce for the cakes. Super yummy! - Crab & artichoke dip: ooey gooey deliciousness, perfect balance of cheese sauce too. You don't have to search for the crab or artichokes. And the fried naan chips were sliced long and thin, and could've been called naan fries actually. Perfect companion for the dip. - Fried catfish sammich: the piece of fish was huge and the batter was good. It came on Texas toast with fixins and tartar sauce. Won't lie, the only thing I wanted for was some hot sauce. That's a me problem... just gotta have hot sauce when I eat fried fish but I didn't ask for any while I was there (they may offer it) and still very much enjoyed the sandwich. - Filet: it was great... hubby got it medium and it arrived perfectly cooked. The Demi glaze sauce was so good and so were the sides. Their collard greens are seasoned up! I said does my auntie work here?! This cuisine is so comfortingly southern and didn't disappoint. Shoutout to our friendly and helpful server, Dan... our food and drinks came out quickly and so did our to-go box. His service was truly top notch. We have been living in Carmel for 5 years and this is one of the best restaurants here. If you're on the fence about trying this place, jump off and make a reservation. You won't regret it.

The pimento cheese dip was fine; closer to a nacho cheese dip. Both dips came with too few naan dippers to finish the dip (they charged extra for extra naan to finish the dip). - The cajun pasta was fine. Pasta was cooked well. I got it with chicken, which tasted good. The sauce was fine. - The hot honey chicken tenders were crispy, but lacked flavor. - The CBR chicken sandwich was good. Crispy and good size. - Do not order the side mac n cheese. $6 for some Stouffer's mac n cheese topped with the pimento cheese dip (that's basically nacho cheese dip). Overall, if someone asked to meet here for a meal I would request another restaurant but I'd still eat here if they insisted.

Everything was flavorful, and the seafood was delicious. There are some good deals on the menu if you're looking to keep the cost down.
