The restaurants kind of tiny the food was great they have a really good menu highly recommended I give them four stars check them out if you're in Florence for a quick bite they do have dine in and take out they have a large burrito that you can buy and it looks like it's enough for at least three or four people definitely worth a try I recommend him. read more

Great breakfast burrito! Called in order - really good idea if you are taking away. Only two booths. Place can get busy. Really reasonable prices. Big bacon, egg, potato burrito. I had pics de gallo added. Sweet! Had both red and green hot sauce. Did I mention large serving/portion/burrito? Served hot (had to wait a minute to eat). Drive 2 minutes to the marina. Giving 4 stars because the guy at the counter was super nice even though really busy and because some of the food we had was good. I had fish tacos. Tortillas were good and didn't fall apart. Toppings were fresh. Hot sauce was good. Breaded pollack in an ocean town does NOT cut it for fish. Would gladly pay extra for local fish. Friend had taco salad also with fish. Same comment for fish but happy with topping and loved the pinto beans. Oh, and I didn't really need it but there was no one "licensed to serve beer" even though it on the menu. I've lived in Texas, Southern California, & Arizona and this little hole in the wall has delivered a flavorful meal for us every time in the past 17 years. I love the fish tacos and my wife loves the ground beef hard shell tacos. Their pinto beans, tamales, burritos, are all delicious. You'll love it! Best Mexican food I have ever had. I live in Coos Bay and will always stop when I'm in town.

My wife and I were passing through town and stopped here on the hopes of getting an affordable lunch. The lady who took our order doubled my wife's bean and cheese burrito order. We never asked for two and I had a fajita burrito on the same order. When paying, I noticed the order amount was a little high, but didn't say anything as I hadn't done the math with the drink and chips and salsa. It was only when they brought us 2 bean and cheese burritos that we realized they had made a mistake. Thinking that they hadn't gotten my order right, I brought the burrito up to the counter upon which the lady insisted we had ordered 2! We had done no such thing! She got the order wrong and refused to take the burrito back. This review is 1-star because they didn't make it right when it was obviously her mistake. Our order was "for here". I am not happy and would warn others to double check the amount before you hand them your card! Also, beware of the steak fajita burrito. I thought it was going to be a dry burrito and ended up being served wet. Maybe that's normal here, but I didn't get what I wanted their either. :( read more

I spent the last winter in San Diego, so when I saw the review about this place being as good as restaurants in San Diego, I thought I'd give it a try. Food was just uninspired and bland. Guacamole was just a mashed avocado without the usual onion or seasonings. The chips had no salt. I've had better meals from national chains (eg: chipotle) or from just picking up all the ingredients or ready made stuff from Costco. There is nothing more disappointing than a mediocre burrito so I would give this place a pass unless you really want Mexican food and have no other options. read more

Right off of 101 you will find your little taqueria right down the road here. It's a little place with a huge menu. They've got your usual items as well as tofu tacos and every other kind of taco you could ever dream of. They've also got margaritas though it was too early (yes even for me) to order one. I had to have the chile relleno and it was an ok dish but it did have that yellow cheese on top and that orange sauce over that. That takes away from so much - like the pepper and the white cheese hidden underneath all that. The price was 3.25 so I cannot complain too much. Hubby got the lengua like always. Theirs seems to be the boiled type but he liked them a ok.. They were 2.75 each so that always helps in the final analysis. They've got a couple of outside picnic tables with umbrellas so we were able to take in the sunshine on 101 and be away from the maddening crowd that formed inside. read more

I walked into Los Amigos and ordered their tofu wet burrito. When it came out I turned into the heart eyes emoji and was only further impressed when I took a bite. This place is clean, the food tastes fresh and they have a multitude of vegetarian and vegan options on the menu (potato taquitos, veggie tamales, etc.).
