I'm always on the lookout for a top-shelf Mexican Restaurant. I recently checked out Los Arcos for the first time. I saw their reviews, and wanted to check them out. I have now dined there multiple times, and each time has been exceptional! I have tried burritos, and tacos, and tostadas so far- and they have all delivered! I've been eating the burritos the most lately though. I really like their beans (the barometer of a Mexican restaurant for me) and rice. They also have some of the best red salsa in the area - and it goes really well with their home-made chips. The salsa reminds me a lot of the red salsa they had at Jaliscos (RIP) - which was one of my favorites. They seem to really nail the burritos though - they are well prepared, and ingredients are tasty and evenly distributed so it really showcases the quality of their ingredients. They don't just have the good food though. All of the people I have interacted with there were extremely friendly - which to me - makes the food taste even better! Excellent food and friendly service make Los Arcos a top choice if you are in the area looking for quick and tasty Mexican food! Terrific food and wonderful service! Los Arcos has provided breakfast for a few work events for my company and it's always delicious. My husband and I have been on a breakfast burrito kick so I suggested we try Los Arcos. The restaurant is small but warm and welcoming. The owner greeted us with a big smile and made us feel right at home. I ordered the papas con huevos with over-easy eggs and I asked to sub chorizo for the bacon. My husband got the chilaquiles roja. We also asked for two cups of coffee, which ended up being Mexican coffee (because why would you expect anything else!) and it was sooo good. Everything about our meals was perfect. Their chorizo had just the right amount of heat and my eggs were cooked *perfectly*. My husband absolutely loved his chilaquiles. The portions were huge and we both ended up taking leftovers home. The owner was super friendly and spoke with us at length about the photos and memorabilia he had adorning his walls. My husband and I both left feeling like we'd made a friend and were so happy that we had chosen to support them. Tonight we went for al pastor tacos and flautas. My husband was surprised that the pastor was shredded but he said it had great flavor. My flautas were excellent. Their rice is amazing- and I am incredibly picky when it comes to that! Service: 5/5 I usually skip lunch but I thought I'd give this place a try for small tacos. I did not catch her name but the wonderful lady who took my order "to-go" was exceptionally friendly, helpful, with a sense of humor. Plus, I got to practice my Spanish from high school. Food 4/5 I ordered the two quesa tacos with chicken. I loved that there is cilantro and cheese in the taco and it is grilled/toasty instead of soggy. I love chicken quesadillas but I rarely can find any that have cilantro in them. This was a mix between a chicken quesadilla and taco. I though the salsa wasn't spicy (could've been better) and green salsa also wasn't impressive but still worth it for the tacos! read more

I've come here several times and tried several items. The food tastes consistently fresh, salsa's are great, and they make you feel welcomed. Tried the carne asada fries for the 1st time last night. This is one of my favorite places to visit for there breakfast burritos. This place is located in the Safeway plaza. Parking closest to the restaurant can be limited but you can always find more parking on the Safeway side of the plaza. Service is super friendly. The cashier would often hand out menu and provide any recommendations when asked to first time visitors. I always get their Chorizo Breakfast burrito. These burritos are packed full. No issues you'd usually deal with with the ends mostly just being filler-less tortilla. Unless you are really hungry, I would suggest eating half the burrito and saving/sharing it. It is just that filling. As for the location, I've never personally eaten at the location but it looks like your typical taqueria but with exemplary service. Typically, you would go up to the counter to pick up your order. On multiple occasions, I have had someone bring my order to me and open the door for me as I left the restaurant with order in hand. Chips and salsa are complementary. I wouldn't come here solely for the chips and salsa though the salsa is a bit spicier than others in the area there are better options available in Santa Rosa if that's your thing. Lastly, call ahead if you are in a rush. It can take up to 10 minutes to make your food. read more

Service was prompt - after we declined a third (!!) tray of chips, they saw our eyes said yes and still brought out another tray with more sauces LOL. Always room for chips and salsa. Combo plate ($15.95): my friends ordered this for an early dinner with a BIG appetite, and they still couldn't finish it :0 they said the al pastor was very tender and tasty. Fish super burrito ($11.95 super burrito + $3.50 fish): this isn't on the menu, but the owner highly recommended their white fish and I was craving a burrito sooooo they made it work! I honestly couldn't believe I finished it - I guess that happens when I'm savoring every bite without stopping and suddenly there's no more... I just noticed on the menu they have their salsas available for purchase by bottle - darn!! They also have a taco bar special for $15/person that requires at least 5 people; we were short one this time, but you bet I'm dragging 4 people with me next time to try! I rarely write a Yelp review, but I was extremely impressed with their breakfast burrito and the service. I have seen the photo of their breakfast burrito when I have walked by many times. It looked amazing but I figured it was just a photo. I finally decided to stop in and get a burrito to go. The staff was great, one gentleman even opened the door for me (my hands were full) after he handed me the burrito. When I got home, I had the best breakfast burrito I have ever had - not an easy feat. Every bite was awesome. Just the right amount of spice and everything was mixed well (not all egg one bite, then good stuff another). A friend and I had a lunch here after work. We were greeted by one of the staff and they were super nice. They gave us menus and had us sit anywhere we wanted and quickly came to check on us. You are given an order of chips and salsa to start. The chips tasted rather stale and were not very pleasant. The salsa was spicy and flavorful. Both of us ordered the Monster Burritos and quickly found out that they were truly massive. The burrito itself was nothing special, other than being stuffed with meat, beans, guacamole and rice. Nothing too special as I was expecting something better after hearing that this was a good place. There is indoor and outdoor seating and is relatively clean side. It is located in a shopping center so there are people constantly walking past the restaurant. Overall, the food was nothing amazing and the staff was super friendly. P.S. When you go to pay, make sure you check how many times they charge your card. My friend ended up being charged 6 times over two different cards after one was declined for no reason. read more

I've been absolutely hooked on the perfection of Cristobal's delicious and lovingly prepared Mexican food ever since. Tucked into a strip mall, Los Arcos may not be flashy, but the food is the true star. We've never had a meal we didn't love. Their spicy red salsa is my favorite, but even the pico is good. They do a brisk business in takeout, but whether you order at the counter or dine in and order from the table, service is quick, friendly and efficient. First time coming here. Was greeted warmly at the door and we were allowed to sit wherever. Server was great and attentive. Not much of an ambiance, but this place is more of set up as a to-go type of place. Regardless, they still have seating for those looking to take a seat and enjoy the food. I love Mexican food and the Yelp reviews for Los Arcos were amazing so I just had to try. The food is so flavorful and delicious! I had a Super Burrito with Carne Asada and I usually use Carne Asada (my favorite dish) as a comparison to all Mexican restaurants. Most other restaurants, the steak doesn't have flavor but at Los Arcos, the steak really tastes like it's been marinated and that's wonderful. I also tried a Taco with Lengua and it was fantastic, too. Both items had me totally stuffed. The folks working there were also very friendly and the customer service was great! My wife suggested we go to Los Arcos for breakfast and I'm so glad she did! She reminded me that our company has used them to cater events a few times and it was always really good. Everything on the plate was perfect. The flavor of their red sauce is fantastic and the chorizo seemed homemade. There are a lot of really cool old pictures on the wall.
