The salsa is unlimited when you eat there but if you get an order to go they try and charge you for it. The salsa was good but how cheap can you be? Los Dos did not honor the reservation that was made 2 weeks in advance for a large party. They were not busy but gave the back room to others who did not have reservations! On top of that, the manager was very rude and unapologetic about the mistake made by them. He insisted he did not have the authority to even give a 5% discount to our group in an effort to make things right. He claimed only the owner could do that, but she was out of town and snidely suggested I try back in a week or two if I wanted to speak with her. He would not give me her name. We have held many meetings at Los Dos, and smaller groups of us meet here 1-2 times a week. Went about a month ago. To cut cost hubs and I split fajitas. Service was great. Food okay. Tried again on 12/4/16, I specifically asked for a grilled chicken taco. waitress recommended two chicken tacos a la carte as she indicated they were small... she failed to mention they were $7.00 a piece costing more then my husband's 1 taco 1 enchilada combo. Tacos were regular size... not street size. Hubs couldn't eat his taco because the meat was so over cooked and dried out you could use it for nails. When we mentioned it to the waitress she will only offer a taco to go home and wouldn't offer a refund. Needless to say we will never ever go there again. Overpriced and terrible service. I ordered a bean rice and cheese burrito and he said i would be charged same price as a regular burrito w/ meat. I then asked if i could get a child's bean & cheese burrito and was denied because i am past the age requirement. We've been going to this restaurant since the 1990's. Never had a problem before yesterday. Unfortunately my husband was sick after eating their steak tacos. He thought they tasted 'funny' as if they changed the seasoning. I had the fajitas that contained shrimp, chicken and steak. I didn't eat the steak until later that night. Been here a few times and the service is good and the food is not bad. I have a group of 6 of us that go out to eat lunch everyday and we always split the check evenly using credit cards. Sometimes the waiters are sharp and give us separate checks. Yesterday the manager here was upset about the cards and literally threw our receipts down on the table and walked away without saying anything. It took us a few minutes to sort out the credit card receipts. We ended up adding tips to our bills but found out afterwards that they already included gratuity. Usually we get a heads up from waiters when they include gratuity on the check. I feel bad for the servers, but we won't be going back because of the manager. read more

I've eaten at Los Dos many times and love it. The carnitas torta is wonderful and the chips and salsa are almost addictive. You even get bean dip! The decor is awesome too, the place is just too darn cute. It's festive and unique. My only complaint is the service. It's just bad. Bad, bad, bad. The servers are slow and often disappear. They don't consolidate what they are doing. I watched a server get asked by two different tables for to-go boxes and he returned with one for one table but nothing for the other, forcing him to make a return trip to the kitchen. Those kinds of things are why you can't get in and out of this restaurant in under an hour. Going there for lunch is iffy, especially if you are on a time limit. Overall I would eat here again and recommend it. But I will not stop by if I know I need to be somewhere else afterward. read more

I still like Los Dos Amigos and actually had some great Pulpo a la Diabla the last time I went, but watch out for their clams. A buddy of mine ordered a shrimp and clam soup and when it came out all the clams were closed and the waiter said that was they come and brought out a crab leg cracker to break them open. Anyone that knows anything about seafood knows that clams do not open only if they are dead or not cooked. So the waiter took the soup and said they would cook the clams some more. So the soup comes back out and the clams are there but they have been broken open. I went on Yelp to find a good Mexican restaurant near Agoura Hills and found Los Dos Amigos. The first thing you notice as you walked into the restaurant is the wonderful aroma. Someone had just ordered sizzling Fajitas. It smelled and looked amazing! Not only was the food good but the service was great. There was a misunderstanding on one of the menu items that was ordered and they brought another dish (free of charge.) My friends were really impressed. The salsa and bean dip before the meal are really good and spicy! I ordered the Shrimp Enchiladas and loved it. The street tacos and other sea food items were a hit in our party. If I am in the area again, I will make a point of stopping there to get a meal. read more

Had lunch today at Los dos amigos, and have always loved there food and service, today was a completely different story. I had to ask for water and chips and salsa which they normally bring out first thing, I ordered Chile Colorado plate which is always good except for today. Almost every piece of meat I bit into was mostly fat and drizzle, and the flavor was off of their normal. On top of that it took forever to get the check while the paid staff was having their own debate disreguarding attention to the very few customers in the restaurant .
