Hands-down best Mexican food I have ever gotten while eating out. I can't even recommend a specific dish because everything there is just amazing. As always, we had an absolutely amazing experience! We've been coming here for years and they always do a great job. We had a big group, 25 people, and Trisha, and a few others (I didn't get there names sorry) just all came through and Super Womened our entire group. Great food, great team work, everything was fresh and correct, and as always a great atmosphere! We sat outside, they had large coolers which we didn't need because the Oct. weather was great, they turned on the club lights (around sunset), brought an outdoor speaker which we were able to Bluetooth connect to and play our own playlist, and the did the happy birthday song with cake thing, and they took plenty of pictures of our group with our phones. We haven't been here since my daughters 21st bday, and she'll be 32 on Wednesday. They now have a fenced in parking, they added a patio, and remodeled the inside. Looks way better. The service was great and they aren't stingy with their chips and salsa. They kept on top of everything. The adults all ordered the SUPREME MOLCAJETE, 3 with green sauce and 1 with red. The asada had a great flavor, the chicken did too, but I didn't care for it because it wasn't grilled. It looked like it was boiled, and just put in the sauce. The shrimp was really good except the tail was still in so you have to peel it. Was disappointed in the chorizo, they only give you a quarter of a whole sausage. Which was surprising since they give you alot of the other meats. The cheese was 2 skinny slices, which was disappointing too. When I took a bite of the rice and beans, I remembered why we had stopped coming here. The beans had a funny taste and the rice had no flavor. Now some might say that's no reason to stop coming, but for me personally, rice and beans make all the difference. read more

It's a 2.5 for me. At first, I was excited to try this spot, and then I walked into the restaurant, and the music that was on wasn't on shuffle, which made the experience awful to the ears because who can actually listen to Carin Leon for a whole meal. The appetizer was Guacamole, which was actually good but as always lacks the real authentic guac flavor of chile serrano, cilantro, and lime. The salsa was watery and wasn't special. Some of the chips were over salted, and the horchata was really bland. The rice was simply white rice with food coloring, and the veggies tasted like they literally came out the frozen bag no flavor whatsoever. The beans were beans. The chicken mole flavor was on point. I ordered the chicken chimichanga, and I asked for no cheese on beans or on the changa, and when my plate came out, guess what? Yes, it came with cheese. The changa was basically made with the bland rice and dry chicken deep fried and served. Yes, I ate some because I hadn't eaten that morning, and it was hitting lunchtime. Another thing I didn't like about this place was when our food came out, it came out separate. So my friends food was served first and then I got served almost 10 minutes later. At the end of it all, no one came to our table to ask if we wanted to pay. We sat there and waited and waited and waited until finally my friend got up to start a line to pay and yes I say line because right in back of him was 2 other tables who hadn't been asked if they wanted to pay either. So, to wrap this up, I tried it and didn't care for it, so I will not return. read more
