This place is my favorite to eat out at. The food is always top notch! The staff are always smiling and friendly. You get more food and BETTER food for the price here than El Polo Loco. Today I went in and they gave me a whopper of a discount for my birthday. I didn't see such a discount coming. Los Pollos Bros knows how to treat their customers. This was AWFUL!! There were chicken bones in my taquitos and my sons tacos!! They put huge chunks of carrots in their salsa?!? Completely unexpected I chipped my tooth! I wanted to give this place a try now I know why I have a hard time trying new places! If you are going to serve chicken dishes at least make sure there are no bones in them. Tried to go in and have fresh chicken chopped rather than use the pre-shredded chicken they use for burritos. I've had the pre-shredded, it's soggy and too salty. They refused to accommodate my simple request even though they had no one in the dining area to help and drive thru wasn't busy. All I wanted was freshly chopped chicken, it's what I want almost daily. This simple non accommodation has cost them my regular business. Went through drive thru during this whole pandemic thing cause my family wanted to try this place out .Family members got chicken dinner plate and they said the meat was dry and nothing special I Ordered the nachos and what a let down. The chips were not fresh made but were chips out of a bag, very similar to TOSTITO chips. Sad. The cheese was nacho cheese, like 7-11 stuff. Not fresh shredded cheese, Let down. The beans were alright. The chicken had no flavor to it. The only thing that provided bite/flavor was the jalapeños . They gave us green salsa , and I kid you not, we flipped the container upside down without the lid, and it did not move. I thought salsa was a liquid-y, not a paste. The only reason I'm giving two stars is #1, they sold beers to go(which I'm sure will change soon) and #2 the lady in the drive thru was patient,nice, and answered all my questions. Hate having to post a negative review, but i feel I needed to say something. Overall the food was okay, nothing really impressive. Although the burrito was BIG, I feel that most of it was rice, and missing on some chicken and flavor big time. My biggest gripe was the fact that there was a small needle like chicken bone in my burrito that honestly I could've very easily choked on, or could've stabbed me from inside or something; it was an extremely sharp bone that if I hadn't been intently chewing through my food, I would've very easily choked on it or had it lodge itself in my throat. The food was ok, so I guess it doesn't deserve a 1 star, but safety should always be the number one priority for a restaurant. But today was different, I was asked by one of the employees to participate in a friendly challenge amongst her co-workers to leave a review if I was pleased with her customer service. We've been wanting to try this spot for a few weeks ( posts on foodies FB ) and finally did . Ordering was quick easy . Drive thru attendant was friendly . Ordered 3 Elote Burritos and 1 bros Chicken nachos. The burritos were huge and heavy ! Problem was it was lacking in flavor , and shredded chicken tasted plain and flavorless . Also chicken was like boiled chicken that had been shredded. No skin chopped up in there either . The Bros Nachos were awful. Big disappointment. Cheap fair style round tortilla chips . Cheese like the kind you get from a large can at winco. Lots of chicken , but again the chicken had zero flavor . 36$ bucks for all that wasn't bad if all we cared about was quantity . Overall, the experience was frustrating. I ordered on their website. The website specifically says pick up food at the counter or go through the drive through. I was there at 8:00 pm, and my order was supposed to be ready at 7:59. I wanted to go to the counter to avoid waiting behind other cars in the drive-thru, but the entries were locked (at 8:00 pm, when they are supposed to be open until 9:00 pm). So I was forced to go through the drive-thru and wait for other orders to be purchased and made and delivered while presumably, my food sat waiting. It might be a minor inconvenience compared to real world problems, but I have a contempt for misleading advertisement and false statements. I don't recommend it because the attempt to make the experience convenient actually made it more inconvenient. I waited as long, if not longer, than I would have waited just going through the drive-thru. The burrito I purchased was fine, even good, but it was definitely not worth the poor customer service and overall process. read more

This is the best rotisserie chicken ANYWHERE. I haven't had rotisserie chicken this good since I was in Mexico City 40 years ago. The drive-in window is open and service is FAST. I bought a mini-meal for my brother and his wife a couple of days ago. They LOVED it. I'm addicted to this place. I have to go every week. The family meal will feed a family of 6 and have plenty of leftovers for the next day. Ask if they have any specials. They are right in front of Home Depot in Apple Valley on Apple Valley Road. They also are across Hesperia Road from Von's in Victorville beside the Dollar Store. Those kids work so hard to provide a great product and great service.
