Not friendly place!!! I have an Groupon it says it expires today but they say it "expired" today so no... UNFRIENDLY PLACE. ..

A couple of years ago the food was much better than it was when I visited recently. We got the carne asada combo to go and by the time we got home (30 min. later) the meat was very dry and impossible to eat. Don't know if we'll be going back. read more

The beef quality so poor. I ordered the flan also. It's so thick and sweet. I took one bite and threw the whole darn thing away. I threw away the beef too. Just ate the flour tortilla. I wish I would have checked Yelp before trying this place for the first time. read more

I have been here a few times and although the food is ok, I can't say the same about the customer service. Every time I have ordered the cashier is NEVER friendly. She does not greet you when you come in, when I asked her a few questions regarding the menu she seemed very annoyed. I also work with the public . Los Tacos is a regular dinner choice for my husband and me. We share the super burrito (carnitas) and it's huge and delicious! Chips are good, staff is super friendly. As easy to take out as it is to eat in. They even put the drinks in a bag for easy carry! Note: it is cash only. read more

If your are in the mood for great mexican food in a place that is clean, friendly, and the food consistently delicious, you have to go to Los Tacos! It is one of our "go to" places for a quick bite for lunch or dinner. The small eat- in area is just right. No fancy restauant with stale chips and exhorbitant prices. Great for take out too. Our favorites include the carne asada super burrito, the steak hard shell tacos, and the carnitas nachos. Yum! read more

Not happy with the place , food tasted like if it was microwaved , rice dried and looked old, beans cold , the tacos de asada dried and with no flavor the tacos de lengua greasy the tortillas were cover in oil , I think the place has a new cook it use to be very good now the food it's flavorless !!!!! read more

This has been our favorite Mexican fast food place for over 20 years. They have the best vegetariano burrito and best soft tacos (chicken, asada, vegetarian). My vegetarian daughter loves the place and has been eating here since middle school. I can also recommend the chicken mole. Their horchata is a guilty pleasure that I allow myself to indulge occasionally. I'm sorry about the unhappy grouponistas, but really, this place is great. read more

I've had Los Tacos cater a couple of events and they're GREAT at catering. For a small taco shop, they really pull out all the stops for catering: great food, both in quality and in selection, excellent staff who work hard to make a lovely set-up, and they can even provide tables, chairs and linens, at a reasonable price. We went to Los Tacos today and had an unpleasant experience dealing with service and cleanliness. I have been coming here for years and despite a few bad meals now and again it has been an ok choice in a pinch. This night in particular we remarked that the bathroom had no soap. The counterperson didn't seem to care much, even when asked what the employees used for soap. She seemed not to care. I understand that some might not care but it did bother me for both the fact that they didn't seem to care but also in the lack of effort to remedy the problem. Been coming here for years. Usually friendly service, but the cashier that has been around for the last few months is an exception. The teller one with blond streaks in her hair, Maribel, I think is her name, it's in the receipt, is a real lunchtime drag. She is grumpy and constantly looking away or at her phone. I just got home and was ready to start on my fish taco when i opened the bag and the smell nearly knocked me off my chair. This taco was INEDIBLE! Any food preparer must have known the fish was bad as the smell was unmistakable and yet they served it anyway. I tossed that taco along with another that was soaked from the fish juices. Put it this way, I had to sign up for a yelp account just to leave a review for this place. This restaurant has the WORST costumer service ever. As soon as I walked in I got the stare down from the young looking guy at the counter that looks like he doesnt want to be there. He did not greet me, just kind of stood there. I walk over to the counter, stand right in front of him and nothing, does not aknowledge me, so awkward. so finally I tell him what I want to order and pay, he hands me a receipt and thats about it. No Thank You..no we will call your number... no nothing... so it turns out they rudely call your order out on the side when its ready. The table had leftover shreded cheese from the last customer, the floor was also dirty. I ordered 4 tacos, the asada meat was room temperature, immediately after I finish the second taco, I begin to get that funky feeling in my stomach and need to use the restroom. Surprise! the ladies restroom is out of service.... Based mostly on the service I received, and the other factors of course, I will NEVER go back. read more

Two thumbs down. Food was bland with zero flavor. Spent like $9 on a carnitas burrito and a horchata. Found the best tacos in Pasadena just two blocks norht on Fair Oaks. Arturo's Lunch Truck parks in a parking lot, looks like a car shop or mechanic shop. Real Mexican food at $1.25 for the tacos. Real meats, like asada, carnitas, lengua, cabeza, tripas, pollo, buche, suadero, the real deal. So, yeah, do your self a favor and drive just two blocks north on Fair Oaks to Arturo's. read more

I went to los tacos for the first time about a month ago. I got ready to order and then they told me that they don't take credit cards. So I left and today I decided to give it another try with cash. As I walked in I was the only one at the counter. It wasn't very busy, but then a lady walked in and she ( the girl at the counter) immediately took the order of the new customer instead of me. Then when I finally ordered she gave me this attitude like I was bothering her at work or ruining her day. I asked for water also but she made me wait until somebody else ordered and then she gave me a glass of water. At that point I just wanted to leave and get my money back. But I figured I'll give it a try still. I had seen other people going there and I wasn't sure how good the food was so I thought I'd give it a try. I ordered a burrito and when I sat down and picked up a burrito it just fell apart! I also have to mention the the bite that I did get was extremely salty it was like pouring salt all over my burrito. I also found that buying something from this place can cost you a bit of cash. I tried this place but I'll never come back. there's a million other Mexican food places that are far superior than this. Also for a cheaper price, and the help is just nicer. Also it's not worth the little parking space that you have to pull in where it's always packed with people going to the cleaners or the antique store. everyone shares the same lot. So in closing I hardly ever post and I'm not a person who just wants to be mean to a business, but I also call it like I see it. if the service is not good the food is not good I can't recommend it. read more

our favorite los tacos place closed in san gabriel, so we decided to try pasadena. we got coupons that have no expiration date out of the pasadena weekly, and when we went to pay, we were told they were not accepting these coupons, in pasadena, which they had in the pasadena weekly!! i said, this is false advertising. we have gone to los tacos san gabriel for years, and they have always accepted all coupons, and they did great business. they have lost their lease. i am extremely unimpressed with los tacos pasadena!!! read more

it's kind of getting to be a bad joke. the joke is that i ask for sour cream on my burrito, like i've done many times. i mean i ASK for sour cream on my burrito, and when i get home there's no sour cream on my burrito. so you might ask then 'why do you go there?' well, i haven't in a long time because they don't put sour cream on my burrito when i ask for it. but tonight i was driving by and was hungry, so i stopped in. i asked for a burrito with SOUR CREAM on it. when i got home and ate my burrito guess what i discovered? i know, it's my fault, i shouldn't have gone to los tacos and i'll avoid it in the future. read more
