We generally use Yelp to make our choices for meals. This little place is beyond amazing. Started out with Great chips & salsa, along with a really great bean & cheese quest. The strawberry margarita was especially delicious. The out comes a huge simmering burrito on a sizzling skillet. It was enough for 3 people. The Burrito Toro. Words just don't do it justice. I wanted to enjoy the food we ordered, so badly I did. We are in from out of town staying at the (Not So) Best Western just down the street and figured to order out and eat in our room. I ordered the Taco Salad and was disappointed, the beef was watery and almost flavorless. It was strange to say the least. Other people in my group ordered entrees which apparently came with rice and beans. The rice was fair, not bad not great. The beans were runny and disappointing. I usually love rice and beans but today didn't think either were good enough to waste calories on. Go figure! However, the quesadilla with grilled chicken was good. A bit light on cheese but not so much so that it bothered me. We also got chips and salsa, the simplest thing but the best thing we brought back to the room. With that said, if COVID wasn't a thing I believe I would have tried a drink at the bar and been happy eating chips and salsa (I also believe the rest of the meal would have been more enjoyable). read more

I accidentally ordered fish tacos even though I am vegetarian and I ran back in and asked them if they could make me vegetarian tacos and that I would pay for them since it was my mistake. I have some mixed feelings about this establishment. On the one hand the dish I ordered (pollo pancho) was actually pretty good. But the issue is that I asked if they had two for one margaritas and they said yes, but then I ordered two strawberry margaritas (which I only did because I thought they were two for one) and was charged full price for both since the two for one deal only applies to lime flavor. Upon arriving we were like are they open, because there wasn't many cars in the parking lot. Make sure you get a ticket to park free for one hour and put it in your car so you don't get a ticket. So authentic, so tasty. I was a little skeptical at first because their entrance could use some sprucing up but I'm happy we kept on! I have celiac disease and so I'm always wary of eating out/cross contamination. I'm not so bad with a little cross contamination sometimes. Anyway, ate my weight in food here and no tummy ache! I have been to this restaurant several times both in person and thru delivery sites...I will say, they are fast and usually pretty good. However, if you ask for specific things to be left off whether it be an an allergy or a preference, they do not understand and make a lot of mistakes. I would say use caution when ordering anything with special requests. Also, their menu don't include everything that is on different plates... be careful if you don't like sour cream, pico, guacamole, or random jalapenos... these are items that have randomly showed up on my orders. I went into this establishment with two friends. First...you have to pay almost $11 to park (or risk getting funded) in their lot to eat there. It's $9 for the first hour and then the lot adds a $1 fee and then taxes (totaling almost $11). Second...we went in and were seated, three people...one menu. No one offered to get us additional menus, so I saw menus on the other side of the restaurant and went to get two more. I got up walked to then of the row and was stopped by "our server". We played which way are you going for a few seconds and he had nothing more than a scowl on his face. Once I grabbed two additional menus, my friends said they had told him we needed additional menus. He brought them by the table and threw them down. I mentioned that I had already go more menu's. He snatched them off the table and muttered something in Spanish as he walked away. Meanwhile, another employee gave me the stare down so long it made me uncomfortable. The heat was stifling in the restaurant. At this point...we got up and walked out. Having paid my $11 for parking, I was pretty mad at being treated as an inconvenience instead of a customer.
