Very slow service, I went for them to change my rear breaks and check on a recall that I had. They told me they could put me in for 11 am and I could drop off the truck cause it would take 3-4 hours I came back at 4pm so I gave them 5 hours and thought I would be leaving with my truck, but no! They didn't work on my truck at all and wanted me to leave my truck there till the next day. They then offered me a car wash and also told me that there was two people ahead of me when I dropped off my truck. When I got there there was 15 people they just chatting it up. I can't believe it took them 5 hours to take 2 people out with a crew of like 10 people I'm so upset I left with nothing and got my time wasted, even when I show up for a regular maintenance they take 3 hours and are very slow with getting people out. I think they just don't know how to schedule people because they told me they do appointments only. All they offered was a car wash like I wasted my time and gas to get there and left with Nothing. I have been using them for service since they opened. Even bought a Tundra and Camry from them. I made an appointment for an oil change and arrived at my designated time and was told that it would be 90 minutes before they could start. There were 6 vehicles in line. I said "I have an appointment" and the service writer's reply was "so does everyone in line." I felt that he was not being honest with me, do they schedule six people in the same time slot? Not too smart. It is obvious they are doing first come first serve regardless of appointments. I called later that afternoon to talk to the service manager, he was "in a meeting." I brought my Kia Soul in for an oil change and MPI...a lot of items were ticked off as okay, even the cabin filter.. I thought this surprising as I hadn't changed it in over two years.. when I got home I decided to check the filter, found it to be completely plugged with debris...obviously, they did not even check it.. makes you wonder what other items were checked off as okay when they weren't even looked at.. just a heads up to anyone getting a MPI at Lost Pines Toyota read more

I worked a long time to get my credit right so I could buy my first car. I went to bastrop lost pines Toyota. They sure did everything to get me financed. Which should have been a red flag but they seemed like they were trying to help. I got financed for a pre owned car. 2 wk in the remote start malfunctioned and the car died. Immediately after l, maybe a day later; everytime I stopped and went ( at a light or stop sign) the car would vibrate and shake like transmission gears weren't working correctly. I took it to them. They said my battery cable was loose and that's what caused it to do that. They tightened it supposedly. Two days went by and it started doing it again. 4 payments in and it's still doing it. It ALSO started showing a new malfunction. (picture below) I had to hit my brakes hard in traffic . The very next day the automatic braking system started to send me a malfunction warning. It's done it six times in a week & 1/2. If you turn the car off and back on the light goes away. But Jesus how much can screw up on a car with 86k miles. Four payments in and I'm so discouraged. If I could I would fight everyone in this dealership. They check every box on the sleazy car dealership list. They have almost gotten me killed on one occasion and they were like "Oops one of our techs must have bumped off your air intake." For the layman that part can cause your car to shut off while driving. They didn't apologize or anything so that's pretty cool. One time before I gave up on this place they told me they would get my maintenance done before close and when I showed up at closing looking for my keys not only was it not done but nobody knew where my car/keys were. When I got mad (I'm not proud of that one I dont like yelling at people in the service industry) one of the moose knuckles I dealt with told me i needed to watch myself. Oh I also work in a tire shop and they told me my tread was at 2/32 and needed to be changed. When I went to work to measure that for myself they were at 3-4/32 which may not seem huge but is the difference between being able to safely repair/rotate and balance the tire. So I'm an idiot for trying to work with them so often but they are quite simply one of the worst businesses I've ever dealt with. And yes I would actually fight them if I thought any of them had the spine for it. read more

I called and scheduled a oil change for the first hour 07:30, when I show up the serviceman (tall, Caucasian, beard) did not even greet me and just asked "what ya here for", I told him I had a 7:30 oil change appointment and was told it would be done before 9. "No, there's more vehicles ahead of you" it won't be done before 9, so I asked why if I had the early appointment and he said "I don't make the appointments" Ive always take my cars there and never have problems, maybe he was upset bc a busy schedule, I'll be sure not to pick him again! read more

I have been here a couple times and the staff is so friendly and helpful (almost makes me want to buy a car from them) . The price you can't beat for the car wash and vacuum service. I feel like some of the do it yourself places cost the same if not more. So why not take a break and treat yourself. read more

I've only had positive experiences at LPT. I've purchased one vehicle there, and had several repairs made there as well, which all went well... but when things started opening back up after the pandemic, I started getting my oil changes done there too. They've always given me a better than fair price and get it done quickly, even when short-staffed. I had two vehicles serviced there again this week. Just drove all the way from dripping springs to look at a RAV Hybrid. I called in advance on a White Rav with tan interior. We show up at the lot and low and behold the car we came to look at was grey with charcoal interior.. huh. Called the manager out(forgot his name but I think Leroy sounds right). They claimed this was the same car I called on. When I went to show the listing on car gurus there were no photos of the car any longer. Then he claimed that I must have the wrong car lot. I showed him the listing with images now deleted and he said "That's not our phone number" I then called the number and put it on speaker and was greeted by their lost pines phone girl. Imagine that! Adam was the car salesman and to say least least he is a lying coward and his manager is a royal POS! I don't know how these people can look themselves in the mirror. What a shitty way to earn a living! This was a classic bait and switch and they knew exactly what they were doing. White car with tan interior is a highly sought after color combination. They intentionally put the white and tan photos online to bait us and try and switch us into a car we didn't come there to look at. I would not ever recommend doing business with this company! The initial sale was great. They were kind and not pushy. The finance team was wonderful. After we had the car things were different. We received the car dirty (it was brand new). The back windshield had so much grease on it we couldn't see out the back and I had to clean it when I got home. I think it was from the installation of the window tint. Not a huge deal, but then...... We moved out of state a couple days after purchasing the car and they had said they would ship us the license plates when they came in. We had been in our new home in a different state for a month and hadn't heard anything. So we reached out to the sales person who sold us the car, he responded and said he hadn't seen it and would check on it, never heard back from him. So I reached out through their live help on the website, which sent my dilemma back to the our sales rep who only said "we will be in touch about the issue". The next day I receive a phone call from the sale manager which was the least helpful phone call I have ever receive. He didn't answer or address my issue, he only said they had put post it notes everywhere around the front desk to remind the receptionist to send us our license plates. But where are they? Our temp tags would expire in 10 days and we are not close enough to drive to Texas and figure it out, also your team said they would take care of this for us. I called back and left this on the sales managers voice mail, and never heard back. My wife had to call and call and call, and got some sales people who were not helpful and was hung up on a couple times (due to the system). Eventually she got a hold of someone who initially was unwilling to leave their desk or extend any thinking or initiative to find a manager and solve the problem, but did forward my wife to a manger (because my wife told this person they needed to figure this out) and that manager did what everyone should have done in the first place. Got us the info we needed (turned out the plates were there the day the sales manager called me, so why couldn't he have told me that? Sounds like he didn't take any initiative to actually address the issue), and confirmed our new address. And told us they were in the way. To wrap up, our experience was that like most car companies, they will do whatever they need to to get you to leave with a car, and after that they are not interested in your business. In my quest to replace my car, I was considering either a new or used Camry. They had a young lady who reached out to me via email. I will give this dealership high marks for the video message inside the email. I had explained what I was looking for. The young lady who was helping me sent a few examples of Toyotas. I was trying to avoid driving to another Toyota Dealership in another city and wanted to give these folks my business. I had been looking for a Camry SE and had a price in mind that I wanted to stay close to. The young sales person did not even make an attempt to negotiate with me. She responded, "we are a small dealership and do not have all of the resources a larger dealership has to offer deals like that." Wow. First of all, your dealership is in Bastrop and is not on the "motor mile" in Austin, not to mention you are not paying high Austin prices to keep your dealership open. Secondly, dealers pay the same amount for new cars that other dealers do. She made zero effort to try and work with me, only to quickly dismiss me and tell me she could not help me. While I appreciated the fact she was honest and did not blow my phone up like another dealership has been doing, I was amazed that she did not even try to see what she could do to earn my business. This is not the first dealing I had with this dealership. I wanted to give this small dealership my business, but not if you are going to quickly dismiss me. If this is the way you are going to do business, perhaps the young lady that reached out to me needs to find another career. read more

Me and my wife bought a used car from them and not a month later our car had total engine failure and the engine had to be replaced because their was metal shavings in the oil. Writing this review as I leave Toyota , Angelina( in new cars sales is AWESOME! Took my parents to get a car and she took her time showing us a new corolla , was very helpful and patient. I know I'm just buying a car but I felt very welcomed and that's huge part of car sales being polite and nice to your customers. Wish she could have done all the finance and sales. Would have walked out with a happy customer and a car sale....but SO the reason this is a 2 star and not. 0 review is because their guy in finance . I will never step foot in that Toyota or recommend anyone while CODY is working there. Worst customer service ever my parents were intimidated when he approached my family when he was supposed to "greet himself " as we left to find another car . He felt like we wasted his 30 minutes of time. Told him I found a better offer at a different location and he was very rude after I told him and staff we just wanted a out the door price . Hope he not only gets replaced by a better fit employee but also gets a reality check. That is not how you sell a car . Love to waste your time Kaytlin tried to stick us with 3,500 warranty stating that I was transferred from the previous owner. When I went to get the total and it had added 3,500 to it. that was a circus to get that off the general manager walked a way refused to deal with me . The car wasn't detailed so I took to be professionally cleaned it had mold in between the seats . The seat belt cut in to the plastics . It had been wrecked, obvious damage to the front bumper once cleaned .I when back to ask them to make sure the car was safe......general manager told me to get out of his dealership. Rick told me it's my problem now. I had to go to Service in king to prove it was wrecked it was . Still refuse to help me . Even told toyota corporate that they offered to buy it back ..... that NEVER happened. ...... the dealership is full of crooked people. The tell you they support firefighters my ass they caused nothing but problems and I'm married to a chief. I suggest doing homeworkbefore you buy from them .........so disappointed read more

Bought our 2nd vehicle from here ('20 Tundra in December and '20 Highlander this July) and we couldn't be more happy with the entire sales experience. Very professional, patient, and helpful while not being pushy. Quince is amazing both times and today we used Andy and he was fantastic. We didn't have too great of an experience with one aspect of a minor warranty repair on the Tundra, but I'm sure they will make good on that. The last car I had was one my father bought me, and he got truly scammed because the car had a junk transmission and the guy claimed we can get it fixed on its warranty. Then he sent us to the transmission guy who scammed my dad AGAIN, charging him around $2,400 to do work he didn't do and blatantly giving him the run around, even not answering calls for several days, then when he finally does, he claims he went to Mexico WITHOUT TELLING US FIRST! So needless to say, I was pretty jaded about subsequent trips to car dealerships, especially after seeing so many rated with less than 4 stars. I wanted a Toyota Camry, and I found that Lost Pines Toyota has a 2013 Camry XLE HYBRID priced at $14,333, so I was pretty hyped about that--seeing a car I want at one of the few dealerships with mostly positive ratings on Google. And I had quite a pleasant experience here at Lost Pines Toyota! I was greeted with an air of friendliness by Erik, who I felt I didn't have to keep my guard up around despite my bad experience anxiety. He spoke to me for a bit about the car I wanted and then sent my way an amicable, chill young hybrid specialist by the name of DJ. He told me everything there was to tell my about the Camry Hybrid, and hybrids in general, and not once did I get the sense that he didn't know what he was talking about. This dude knew hybrids inside and out, literally! The car seemed to be working totally fine even though they only recently acquired it and didn't have a chance to certify it. The only problems with the car (and the overall experience) I had were that even though it only had 1 owner and only 42k miles, it already had a few stains on the seats and floor mats that no one tried to clean, and a few ugly but minor scratches on the bottom edge of the front bumper. But they were selling this luxury model Camry Hybrid for LESS than the KBB fair market value with 19k less miles than the competition average, so I was ready to get this car anyway. And Erik made this happen in a breeze, made an anxious person like me feel comfortable and respected going through the buying process. Not once did I feel like he was trying to manipulate, deceive or coerce me. To me, he was honest, friendly and down-to-earth, and I appreciated that. Caitlyn in the financial department made the final handover process quick and painless. She was rapid and precise, didn't have any issues getting the needed documents and information for us. They were nice enough to work with me to get the car at an even better price than what they listed online, which was already a better than average deal. Awesome! Jesse Torres at Lost Pines Toyota made the entire process unbelievably easy. There was no pressure, no sketchy sales tactics - just Jesse wanting to make sure I got the car that was perfect for me. After Jesse walked me through the first - and longest! - part of the process and helped me decide on a car, the finance manager, Michael, finished up with the paperwork more quickly than I thought possible. Again, I didn't feel like I was being treated as a paycheck by these guys - both Jesse and Michael seemed to genuinely want me to feel comfortable with the purchase. I LOVE my new Corolla! We just bought a 2020 Chevrolet Silverado from this dealership and it is already having major mechanical issues. On the initial disclosure of this to Lost Pines Toyota they denied there was any issue with the truck only to finally recommend us to take it to Rush Chevrolet for repairs. Rush Chevrolet is stating there are major issues with the transmission. While the truck is still under warranty they should not have sold this truck because it is a lemon. They refuse to do anything about this. I do not recommend this dealership. read more

In the market for a new Camry I called Lost Pines. Asking for the internet sales manager I left a message. I asked for an email price quote final drive out price on a Camry LE. No quote so I called back the next afternoon. The manager was unavailable so I asked for a sales person. I explained what I needed and gave him the email address. No quote but I did get a voice mail. When I called back I was told the manager said no email quotes. Out of 5 Toyota dealerships contacted this was the only one which did not send an email quote ! A dealership today that will not email a quote is to be avoided. Lost Pines may have a large enough customer base that is uneducated on how cars are sold in 2017. They could be looking for folks with credit problems that are easy prey for ripoffs. I have bought and sold many cars over the years. Lost Pines is lost when it comes to selling cars using the most basic of social media. read more

Do not trust the sales man Jim. He took advantage of an 86 yr old lady. He didn't care what she needed or wanted. He made sure he found the most expensive Camry to sell to her. A sports edition. Really? She had recently been in a wreck and her car was totaled. She lost her husband just a year and a half ago. The next day she realized she didn't want this car and the sales person Jim was rude and just said the deal is done. She couldn't change it. Never use this place. Go to Austin. You'll get a better deal Jim disrespected my mother and I hope he can't sleep at night. Horrible. read more
