Omg ! We discovered this place based on the yelp reviews and yelp reviews do not disappoint. This place was excellent. Everyone in there was courteous and pleasing. Everybody helps everybody . Th food was awesome. Never had crispy bacon like I like it and the fruit they give offer ( if you choose fruit ) is actually berries, strawberries and grapes! Cory was awesome . Food was amazing, we had Huevos and Bacon and Eggs with extra Bacon which was cooked to perfection -- they gave us a spread of their homemade jams which were delicious!! Wow. I've lived in Vegas for 25 years, I have driven past Lou's enumerate times. My wife is not a Dennys or IHOP person, and we were ready to go to breakfast at 5:30. I had seen a recommendation for Lou's in a Facebook group, so I suggested it. She agreed. Where do I start? First off the hash browns and bacon are the best I've ever had anywhere. I had the Haystack, I would highly recommend it. The coffee is the only thing I wouldn't order again, but I'm a bougie coffee snob and it tastes like the terrible coffee I survived on in the Navy. My wife had pancakes and a side of sausage links. The pancakes are sweet cream and are very good. Neither of us would order the sausage links again, but I'm sure people love them. Just not us. Let me talk about the two BEST things about this place. The jams and jellies -- they actually sell them by the jar for $12 and we bought the raspberry. It is sooooooooooo good. And the service. The ladies that work there are friendly, talkative, super engaging. They clearly have lots of regulars. And they just gained two more. We will be back. Often. This was my second visit to Lou's diner and I truly enjoyed the atmosphere, service and food here. Both Cory and Celinea made our visit wonderful. The ham had good taste and the hash browns and the eggs was good too. The pancakes was ok. Not as light and fluffy like I wanted but ok. My brother had the same breakfast like me but regular portion mines was senior menu. My husband had pork chops he said they did seasoned with dill or thyme spices if it was just salt and pepper it would have been good. The food and the service was great. The bathroom art was funny. The jam samples were yummy, but I am a strawberry person. The pineapple and apple cinnamon samples were good too. I ordered a pastrami hamburger and my sister ordered meatloaf with mashed potatoes. My nephew had French Toast with eggs and bacon. Very diner style inside. Plastic lined red booths around the parameter, and black and silver table/chair styles in the middle. We loved that they make their own jams in house. There was tropical, mixed berry, strawberry, and raspberry. They serve them complimentary with buttery crackers. Mmm yummy. My favorite was the tropical and raspberry. They sell the jars of jams as well. Now for the food. I ordered the steak and eggs. The steak was delicious. Loved it. It came with home fries, eggs, and toast. Home fries were flavorful. My eggs were scrambled a little too hard. And the toast was good but I was so full from the crackers and jam I didn't really eat the toast. My hubby, got the juevos rancheros. He said it was mediocre because the refried beans were from a can and we are not fans of the canned style refried beans. The food was presented nicely and portions sizes were adequate. The hot chocolate was large and served with a heaping serving of whipped cream. BEST PART after the jams and crackers. Will we return? Yes. One day when we are on that side of town again. Amy our waitress was very attentive. I had the chicken fried steak with mash potatoes, gravy, corn and biscuit. It was a nice portion and had a lot of flavor. The gravy was so good. I recommend it.
