They have only been open around 3 weeks, but the DRANKS..... whew child the dranks are delicious. A few tips. They do not have a robust lunch menu, I would definitely expect cafe type breakfasty/brunchy choices. Mainly crepes, toasts and desserts. They have a couple of salads and pasta after 1pm. If you sit outside, beware of the sun. The sun rises on that side of the building and I almost cooked my face off sitting there. Great ambiance, just blazing hot. The service was fantastic. When I was there with my husband, it took a little longer so they gave us a free piece of cake for waiting. Cute little place. Nice staff. You can take your time and dine in. My partner had their salmon avocado toast and it was amazing. He enjoyed his tea as well. I just had a matcha latte without sugar and the matcha tasted delicious. I had a plain croissant but it tasted like it was day old. I didn't finish it but my partner did and he too and felt it was not fresh. I would come back and try other things on the menu. The savory food seemed to be spot on and drinks were as well. I have been coming here a few times over the last couple of months, but I will not be back after the service I experienced a couple days ago. I usually dine alone mid-mornings and when I came in and asked for a table for one as usual, I was initially asked if I'd like a booth. I said yes please because it was toward the back and away from the loud tables of people, of which some had noisy kids. The hostess stopped to grab a menu and was told by another woman behind the counter to seat me at a small table by the door instead. This was obviously less desirable as it was right next to the door and close to the table of loud people with children. When I asked why the change, the woman said that they need to save the bigger table in case a larger party of two or more came in. to me, this was absolutely ridiculous. By doing this, you ruined the dining experience for the person who is already there at your restaurant. Why are you worrying about people that are not even there yet or may never come? Very, very rude. So I have no intentions of coming back, or taking my friends and family in the Stone Oak area to this café. I thought I had found a neat little place that had really nice service. The service was great as we didn't have to wait too long. The venue is quaint and could be bigger given the popularity of the this recently opened restaurant. OMG what a find! I had a savory crepe with avocado, bacon & and a jalapeño sauce with a small salad (included) and a refreshing mimosa. The crepe was light & so tasty; the mimosa was perfect. I had to have dessert - everything looked delicious. I chose the lova crepe cake & it was devine! Alma, my waitress, was so sweet, attentive & professional. The place was nice, the music was lovely, and the coffee was delicious and beautifully presented, I even took a picture! Then things went downhill when the food arrived. There was a small hair on my plate, but since it wasn't near the food, I just picked it off. I ordered the Italian croissant with potatoes, the potatoes were tasty, but the sandwich was bland. While eating, I bit into something strange, thinking it was a vegetable stem, so I discreetly spit it into my napkin. After finishing, I checked and saw it was PLASTIC. My table encouraged me to tell the waitress, and though I apologized (for no reason), she said, "Sorry, let me give you a discount." I expected the meal to be comped because, as someone who works in food service, that's what I would've done. At my job, the manager would also apologize and ensure the issue was handled. Instead, I got a 50% discount on the sandwich and still paid $45 for two coffees and two meals. As a college student working part-time, $45 is a lot, and I'm frustrated I didn't advocate for myself more. read more

The only thing they do not have to address is the magnificent food. The crepe pistachio creme that I had was light and absolutely worth the calories. I followed that with a luxurious crepe cake and a cup of silky French vanilla latte. As I mentioned, some kinks have yet to be worked out, like the need for more seating space or umbrellas to help shade some of the sun. If you dine in they will take your order at the table, if you are taking it to go you can just order at the register. We were a group of 3 and we all got lattes served to us in ceramic cups which made it feel extra special. The water was brought out in a filled fancy glass water bottle that was chilled. They have a variety of breakfast items, including savory and sweet crepes. I tried the Salmon Avocado Toast and it was delicious. Lots of avocado and salmon. Owner also brought out a sweet crepe for us to try. It was delicious. Cute outdoor seating available.
