I visited one time on Thursday, March 21. I was doing a detox and had an Acai bowl from here. I'm not a big Acai bowl person, maybe once a year, but it was so delicious! Better than any other I've had. Staff was nice. Cute place as well. I found out they participate on an app (which a friend told me about recently where I can get significant discount). I don't want to say the name of the app as it's a very limited number of discounts. We were pleasantly surprised to discover a vegan/vegetarian café during our visit to the area. There were plenty of delicious options on the menu. We enjoyed the Acai Bowl and the Breakfast Croissant, both of which tasted fresh and were packed with great flavors. We would definitely return to try more items. The service was excellent, and our food arrived relatively quickly, though the Acai Bowl took a bit longer, which was understandable because of the use of fresh ingredients. This is my second experience at this café. The first time being new to the experience, I was unable to order from the kiosk because the drink was not listed. No problem! I ordered with the young lady at the register. She was very helpful and I was able to order. The drink came out hot but the barista was not the friendliest but no sweat because the drink was good. Fast forward today..... great experience at the counter and same lackluster experience with the barista. She even caught an attitude with a lady inquiring about her drink. Only had the matcha, so I can't say about the coffee or food, but the vibes seem nice and I like that there's an extensive menu of flavor options. As a matcha enthusiast, I was a little disappointed with my latte. The matcha itself tasted okay, but it wasn't all mixed in with the milk when I got it, and the matcha flavor wasn't very present/strong. I think if you're just getting started with matcha, it's not a bad option-- it comes unsweetened and didn't taste bitter. If I were to try it again, I'd ask for extra matcha. Stop by for a quick breakfast. The visit was riddled with small issues but the team did a great job communicating the issues and finding quick resolutions. The team was very aware of the level of service they were delivering and did everything to make it an enjoyable experience. It was a nice place for coffee, conversation, or a moment to yourself. I have tried this place 2 ways: dining in and take out. Usually throughout the week, people use it as a coffee shop. I've seen people take calls in there before. It isn't super busy and people are usually doing to go. I have ordered the açaí bowl twice and different juices. Is it the best açaí bowl? It's okay 7/10, but there are limited options in the area for this specific craving. The juices on the other hand hit every time. I love th is place and this is my first visit. I happened to walk in on a whim. The owner happened to be in grabbing a bite herself unbeknownst to me. I was immediately greeted by the two ladies behind the counter who seemed genuinely happy to see me walk in. I should also probably mentioned I was giving very much help me I'm homeless vibes since I hadn't planned on going into any establishments just grabbing a coffee at a drive thru. Usually people would pay you no mind take your money and barely speak. This was the complete opposite experience. I left with a hand written thank you note a smile on my face and a stomach very pleased. VIBES This place is very artsy, modern and hip in my opinion. There is beautiful art covering the walls which will have you staring in awe. The color scheme is very peaceful and inviting. There are a couple items from the menu on display in case you are unsure. They sell merchandise and host social events for the community and creatives. FOOD Since this was my first visit I wanted to try something familiar for met drink. I went with he white chocolate lavender latte, a mix up one of the baristas made up. I choose the peanut butter and jelly toast with fresh fruit toppings. When I mean I was completely shocked and surprised, I had never thought to try this concoction as a breakfast option but I can never go back now. It is officially in my top 5 breakfast options. FINAL THOUGHTS I highly recommend you give this place a try even if you have to take a little drive. I am so glad I wandered in I am making this a place to go every week. We are taste-testing açaí bowl places in the DMV - we had seen this place a couple of times on Yelp and decided to try it out. There is one bowl on the menu, so choice was limited. However: it was filled w fresh fruit, covered in granola and honey - delicious. Service time from order to receiving was reasonable. There was a steady stream of customers so the staff was busy and friendly. There is limited seating, so not a great place to read or study. It is easy to miss it if you are driving by. They serve Ceremony coffee, so the coffee was excellent. We would go back again. read more

Plus I also make a good homemade avocado toast. The menu lists the ingredients, and honestly there wasn't much to it. So the phenomenal spice, savory tang, and perfected avocado toast kind of shocked me. It ranks pretty high on my list. I also ordered a vanilla chai latte. While that's a pretty tame yea order not everyone gets it right. It can be too sweet. Not enough milk fat. Or just plain old plain. But the vanilla chai latte with 2% milk is fantastic. Two words.... Avocado Toast! Decided to give this place a chance after driving by a couple of times. I had to turn my preconceived biases about vegan spots off, and I am happy that I did. I went here in a whim this morning and I'm so glad I did. The staff was lovely, my vegan chocolate chip scone was delicious. I had to stop and write a review because my oat milk latte was one of the best I've EVER had. I am I diehard coffee drinker, I'm not exaggerating to say this was one of the best ever. The espresso was rich, nutty, without a hint of bitterness, no sweetener and flavor necessary. It was almost a shame to drink. I went here for breakfast one morning and I'm glad I gave it a try! My friend and I ordered the breakfast croissant with beyond sausage, banana toast, and the LLC wrap. The least satisfying was the breakfast croissant. It was cold and the mushroom spread didn't mesh well with the sausage. The toast was good, but in hindsight definitely something we could've made ourselves. However, I have no complaints about the wrap. It was delicious and I'll be back for it. I've had acai bowl twice this week. It's a great bowl, there's nothing much to say about it. I appreciate the fact the coconut shreds are unsweetened and that they top the bowl with lots of fruit! It would be great if we could change the fruit up, but no big deal. I can go to Playa Bowl for that. There was a big hard ice cube in mine this time, but I get that sometimes you miss one. If you prefer less sugar I would suggest you ask them to top the bowl with less honey or none at all. It can be a little too sweet if someone is heavyhanded... Unless you're into that kind of stuff. A year ago i was on a mission seeking out more and more black owned businesses when i stumbled across this gem right in my neighborhood. I moved to Laurel from NY about 4 years ago & fell in love with this area. I was instantly welcomed at the door. If I'm being honest, the name is what got me in there lol. The vibe, the ambiance, the art & even the smell was truly unique. My go to coffee is usually a latte with caramel & oat milk. I didn't think a simple latte could taste so good! Im also really into trying vegan friendly food as of lately so the fact that they make vegan food and TASTEY as well just put the cherry on top for me. I also bring my 8 year old here with me, her favorite drink is a hot chocolate with whipped cream that she swears they make from scratch because it's so yummy she also loves their lemonade as well & croissants I've tried a few juices as well, my fav is the Hydro. I got tired of S*******s matcha being out of stock so I decided to try Love Life Cafe. I had been planning to try it but never got around to it. I went on my lunch break, it was not busy. The inside was spacious, very clean, and beautifully decorated. The employees were pleasant and greeted me when I came in. I ordered a matcha latte and it was delicious! It was made with better quality matcha (compared to S******s). My order: 16oz matcha latte with oat milk, 4 pumps SF Vanilla, and whipped cream *chefs kiss* I also picked up a Chai Tea latte for my coworker and she said it was delicious as well. So far, so good. I have visited this hidden gem on busy Baltimore Ave three times now. I really enjoy their pressed juices (Liver Lover and Eye See Sunshine) and have been able to try their almond butter + jam toast. It is refreshing and yummy. Conveniently located around the corner from my gym, I now can walk to this spot after a heavy lift day to enjoy a morning treat.
