I ordered the jasmine milk tea with boba. The boba was creamy with light tea taste, the aftertaste made my mouth kind of dry after drinking it though. The boba was chewy and broke apart easily as well.

Came here for boba fix during family trip to Chinatown. With the somewhat recent anti-Asian hate crimes (within the last yr) and covid, Chinatown businesses have suffered, so we were happy to try to support local Chinatown businesses. Price: about same as other boba places in NorCal, about $4.50-$6.75. Didn't peruse snack menu much so can't comment. Drinks: we got - plain milk tea: not bad. Subtle sweetness. - passion fruit drink: slightly sweet, slightly tart. Pretty good - caramel: terrible. Super bland. We asked for more syrup and they were happy to help. But I'd stay away from this flavor.

The passion fruit tea was amazing. It had real fruit pieces in the cup and the tea was freshly brewed. The service was good. She lady was nice, helpful, patient, and friendly. She allowed customers to take their time ordering....

My partner and I are on a mission to find the best Mango Green Tea boba and we think this is a close one! The drink had actual pieces of mango and the boba was just the right amount of chewiness. 很Q！The large was a great size for its price -- cheaper than most places in Boston. The Yakult Rose Tea was too sweet for my liking (I got 100% sweetness) and more sour than I was expecting. Whenever I get boba, I typically order 25% or 30% sweetness but the Jasmine Green Milk Tea was not sweet at all at 50%. I was very excited though that the store offered coconut milk for no extra charge.

Finally, the Passion Fruit Tea had seeds and was not our favorite, but still worth a try!

Definitely recommend this place I ordered mango green tea and there were a little pieces of mango in my Boba tea. Some of the mangoes were not ripe but still it tasted OK. My daughter liked her tea., the place is clean. It was nice...

Cute drink place with competitive pricing and menu items. Lots of indoor seating which is nice if you need a little break. Only tried one item and rated based on that. Tea was flavorful, wish there was a bit more topping. Nice shopkeeper.

The food was Amazing expect the popcirn chicken when it gets cold. The pot stickers were bussing. Packed with alot of flavor you don't need the sauce they give you. The passion fruit tea was amazing. It had real fruit pieces in the cup and the tea was freshly brewed. The service was good. She lady was nice, helpful, patient, and friendly. She allowed customers to take their time ordering. The ambiance was something out of a book. There was umbrellas hanging from the ceiling in different colors.

Love Tea is a cute little boba shop right at the corner of Grant and Broadway. Very easy to find and walking inside, I really love all the umbrellas across the ceiling. I always love that kind of decor every time I see it at various places. Very colorful and makes me smile. I ordered the Thai milk tea and it was a simple milk tea but not too sweet and not too bitter. Next time, I would probably ask for more sweetness but it's totally fine. The prices are not too expensive and service was very efficient even on Chinese New Year parade day. When the shop can handle lots of customers but pump out drinks pretty fast, the staff was very efficient. When I'm in the area again, I'll definitely stop by and try more of their drinks.

We decided to try this place out. Typical boba and snack spot. Entering the place, you see the cute oriental umbrellas hanging above. We ordered a lemon lime green tea and a Vietnamese coffee. It was bit of a wait. The tea was good and well the Vietnamese coffee did not taste much like a Vietnamese coffee. Not sure I'd come back as there's plenty other spots with better tasting drinks and service.

I was craving boba and this shop was right next to where I parked on the border of Chinatown. I got the regular size oolong milk tea with boba 50% sweet. It was definitely nostalgic of the time when Quickly's was the most popular boba spot. I liked the boba's consistency, perfectly chewy, and the usage of nondairy creamer in the milk tea.

I was still feeling hungry after dinner with my friend, and she had recommended that I try their popcorn chicken here. Since we came at night, there was no wait, and I got my items really quick. I'm so glad I took my friend's recommendation because I think i just found one of my favorite popcorn chicken in SF. This place has one of THE BEST popcorn chicken! The chicken is seasoned to perfection with the right amount of batter. Each bite was a delicious, juicy, soft piece of chicken. The portion size was also huge. You get a big take out box stuffed to the brim! I also got the osmanthus oolong milk tea, and it was pretty disappointing. The drink was super watered down and didn't have much tea flavor. Nonetheless, I'll return, but just for the popcorn chicken.

Stopped by on a quiet Thursday afternoon. Lots of choices for drinks. Ordered the sparkling lemon lime tea and ended up with sparkling lemon grapefruit tea. It was a rare sizzling day in the city so we needed a drink to cool off as we were walking through the city. We were traipsing through North Beach / Chinatown boundary when I started craving boba. Popped open Yelp and saw Love Tea was closest and highly rated. The decor inside is super cute. I loved the colorful umbrellas hung upside down from the ceiling! It was very cheery inside. The drink menu is long and there's a handful of savory snacks as well. My husband waited outside with our toddler while I ordered. He got the Jasmine Green Tea without boba (I know, right? He doesn't like the texture) and I got the Kiwi smoothie to share with our son. The smoothie was perfect on this hot day and very refreshing. The tea even with ice was still too warm on this ridiculously hot day. My husband joked that the high prices are due to the extravagant cups! They are thick thick thick plastic with a fancy lid, and yes, the prices here are too high. Didn't care for the high prices, but they got me on this hot day! I probably wouldn't come back but it was one of those 'in the moment' choices: right place, right time. No regrets. It was worth the splurge on that day, but neither drink was extraordinary.

Conveniently located at the borders of SF Chinatown. Been here for a few times for a quick boba stop and would say some drinks are a hit or miss. Regular boba is free of charge for your drink! The cashiers are pretty monotone and appear serious but will take your order quickly. This time around I opted for their popcorn chicken. I liked that you can customize the seasonings they offer which varied from hot pepper, black pepper, salt, basil, and a few more. Basil with popcorn chicken is a must wherever and whenever I order popcorn chicken. However, the popcorn chicken here had a lot of fatty parts which made me feel a little sick of it half way through.

Love the Lychee tea i got, it was by far the best I have had! It had lychee cubes and bobas ! The flavor was good and not too sweet! I enjoyed the ambiance and the cute umbrellas hanging on the ceiling! They have snacks too : lobster balls, french fries, to mention! It's at a corned so pretty easy to find if you are in the area!

Great little place in Chinatown to get a pick me upper. The staff was easygoing and helpful with a few questions I had. Teas were very refreshing. My blueberry milk tea was pretty good, but could've tasted more like blueberries. Other than that small detail the visit was a pleasant one. Prices are reasonable and the store itself is super cute and sparkly clean. Good place to get some tea or a snacky snack.

What's not to love about Love Tea. It use to be so many owners and names. I think this one will stick forever! Inside is just as amazing and cute and fancy as the name. I'm sure people have heard about the tapioca "shortage", and I have seen some places have lines to get boba tea. I personally call it bubble tea. This place has a great menu and plenty of add-ons. I ordered the Taro milk tea and I could taste the taro, but it wasn't as strong has I would've hoped. The location is just outside of Chinatown, so the foot traffic is outrageous. Friendly service and, like I said, plenty of options for everyone!! read more

Got the Hong Kong coffee milk tea and the strawberry slushie, both with creama. The Hong Kong coffee milk tea tasted very bad imo, and on top of that, they forgot to add the boba into the drink (which is supposed to come with boba). The strawberry slushie was not bad, but the creama was quite strange. The taste and texture just wasn't quite right. The only thing going for this place is the interior design. read more

Chinatown has a vast amount of boba shops and it's hard to know which one to go to! I wanted to branch out of my typical Chinatown go-to and try a new spot, and the cute decor in this boba shop caught my eye! I tried two drinks from their menu, the passionfruit tea and oolong milk tea, but both were pretty disappointing. The passionfruit tea really didn't taste like passionfruit at all, but more orange/citrus due to the fruit toppings. The oolong milk tea also was pretty white - tasted more like milk when I appreciate the tea flavor more. However, service was really fast and again the ambience/decor with the cute umbrella ceilings was fun to visit! read more

Came here to get boba with my girlfriend on a Monday afternoon! I ordered a Hong Kong milk tea with boba and she got a Jasmine milk tea with boba 50% sweet~ the guy who took our order was nice and the lady who made our drinks was friendly as well! Love Tea is located in the Chinatown area and it is on a busy street. Parking can be hit or miss - I parked on one of the side streets nearby and walked a couple of blocks here. The shop is small and reminds me of an old frozen yogurt joint. I liked the umbrella decor/theme they have going on inside. I ordered the jasmine milk tea with boba. I got the normal milk tea with boba and it was meh. The tea flavor wasn't that strong and it was a bit watered down. The boba was the best part with a nice chewy consistency! Maybe their other bubble teas are better but I would not get a normal milk tea again. read more

I was strolling through Chinatown when I decided that I wanted something to drink and noticed this corner spot with a large menu. Since I was in the middle of a five day road trip, I wanted a caffeine boost and chose the Thai tea. It was delicious and gave me the energy I needed to make it through the rest of the day and the next (I ordered the large and put it in our hotel fridge over night so I could get two days worth of caffeine out of it). read more

This place is awesome and so good. I usually get the passion fruit tea with regular boba but they ran out that day during the lunar new year festival so I had to order a different topping of boba but it was pretty good. I tried to order the egg puff waffle but it was sold out so I order the tots. The tots were so good. This place is super packed on weekends. We stumbled upon this place as we were exploring Chinatown and craving boba tea. There were a variety of flavors and the price seemed reasonable. I ordered the milk tea and while simple, it was amazing. The boba had a good consistency. My friend loved her drink as well. We ended up coming again several days later since we enjoyed it so much. I got the taro milk tea and it tasted very fresh. I think there were taro chunks still there which I didn't mind. I'm so happy we randomly stopped by this shop and it became our favorite boba tea during our trip. read more

Was looking for a great boba and stumbled on this gem. Loved it so much, went twice. I'm a milk tea fan. The coconut milk tea was perfection. The lavender milk tea unexpectedly had real lavender in it, not just syrup like most places. The boba was a good consistency. My son liked their frozen drinks with real fruit. Parking in China Town can be crazy but there are a couple adjacent paid lots, I didn't mind paying. Place is clean and bright, service friendly, and restroom for customers. Definitely on my top SF boba list. read more

This place was super cute! There was no one inside when we came by. Masks are required for entry. Boba tea was good but was expecting more from a boba place IN Chinatown. Got fries and tater tots too. They were a bit overdone. And overpriced. read more

This use to be T & T cafe. They did some remodeling and change their name and their menu. Place is so much nicer, cleaner and service is so much better. I really like the new menu there's a lot of great drinks to choose from. Milk Tea, fruit tea, and much more. Also a good snack menu. Will be back. read more

I ordered the brown sugar milk tea and the mango milk drink. Overall too sugary and it had a weird milk sweet taste so the flavor is not good at all. Boba was over cooked and not chewy at all. I used to love T&T because of the well done crepes, chicken wing, onion ring and fries there. It was super good and I go there almost everyday after work or school. The lady was friendly at times but I probably won't be going there for the drinks again. read more

If I could give this place a 0 star, I most definitely would. Came with a group of friends, and our orders were completely messed up. The male cashier (could be seen in photo from other's review) who looked like he was in high school was absolutely rude and had an attitude when taking my order (other 1 star reviews also touched on this point). Anyways after that encounter with the casher, I was like I will give the drinks a chance, but here was the catch: 50% sugar is equivalent to 100% sugar and their red beans were hard as a rock. In conclusion, I would not ever in my entire life come back to this place again. PS: GO SOMEWHERE ELSE THERE ARE WAY BETTER OPTIONS. read more

We later found out the driver had left the food at the hotel but never told the front desk which room it was for, even though they had all of the delivery information. As a result, our food just sat there until we eventually had to go down and get it ourselves. In the end, I paid for a delivery service that I never actually received. Instead of enjoying the convenience we paid for, we had to track down our own order. Based on this experience, I would not recommend paying for delivery. If you're ordering from this restaurant, save your money and pick it up yourself. I paid for a service, but I did not receive what I paid for. Then to make it worse the breakfast sandwich was just OK. Nothing to write home to mom about. To say the least we will not be ordering her again and would not recommend this restaurant.

There is indoor and outdoor seating; I was able to grab an empty spot late in the morning on a weekend, but I don't think seating is always readily available. It's not a huge space.

Honestly not much going on with the drink, but it does taste lighter in general. Crazy have to pay $1.50 more to add on this milk. Overall, its alright. I do like the natural lighting coming into the shop, but nothing too special.

cute indonesian cafe that seems to be consistently popular - recently renamed from kopiku. they…read moreserve mostly coffee in the form of flavored lattes, cold brew based drinks, and also classic espresso and coffee beverages. they also have matcha versions of their coffee drinks. they seem to focus on highlighting indonesian culture & coffee (as you'd expect), which sets them apart from other coffee in sf. the interior is decently sized with some seating and a bit of table space, although i wouldn't say it's an ideal spot to get work done. the workers were super friendly and efficient and we got our drinks pretty quickly! i tried the iced pandan latte but i asked for it with oat milk & half sweet. this really exceeded my expectations as the pandan flavor was super strong and mixed in well, the espresso was strong, and the ratio was pretty good. it was definitely on the sweet side, so taking it down to half sweet was absolutely necessary for me. also, i think it comes as a 20 or 22oz drink instead of 16, which is a bit more than the average iced latte. this could be a plus in terms of value or a minus if you don't want such a big drink (like me). overall, i really enjoyed the coffee and the ambiance at this place. you can't go wrong with the classic pandan latte, but be aware that it's on the sweet side and that the serving sizes can be larger. hopefully i'll be back to try their other drinks soon!

The space is cozy and I love the overall vibe. I got the Pandan Kopi, which was delicious and refreshing, the flavors complimented each other! Overall, it's a great spot to try Indonesian coffee and pastries, so definitely check them out if you're interested.

After all, there isn't a freeway that connects the bridges, so all the vehicular traffic courses through this congested main artery like a coronary you just know is bound to happen. That's what makes it less than desirable to be a pedestrian on this block. However, this compact coffee spot does an exemplary job in mitigating the traffic noise and safety distractions by serving solid caffeine options. I survived the crosswalk and had a satisfying $5.50 Cold Brew (Photo 7) next to the window. That's all I can ask. We traveled from San Diego to San Francisco, spent time in Santa Cruz, and made our way back down the coast, trying several highly rated coffee shops along the way. While we had some excellent coffee, The Coffee Movement was our favorite. I ordered the seasonal apricot-orange latte, and it was absolutely incredible. I honestly could have had five of them (not that I should have!). It was perfectly balanced, unique, and one of those drinks you keep thinking about long after you leave. We also grabbed a muffin that was just as delicious. The shop has a cool, low-key vibe while still delivering exceptional quality. Parking took a little patience, but it was well worth it. If you're a coffee lover, this place is a must-visit. The Coffee Movement absolutely nailed it, and it's a spot we'll make a point to return to whenever we're in the area. It's good...just different (it may be too strong for those that are used to the powdered or syrupy chai lattes from the chain coffee shops). I usually love cardamom, but this one seemed just a little too bitter for me - like it was brewed too long. I wish I had tried the dessert items because they looked delicious!

It's great to come back as a tourist to enjoy what the area has to offer. On this day trip we took the Vallejo Ferry straight into Embarcadero. We love the hassle free trip and really enjoy the ride. Once in the city we simply walk throughout Pier 39, Fisherman's Wharf and into North Beach. The Buena Vista is an iconic spot dating back to the mid 1800's. It's great to pop in, have an Irish coffee, and enjoy the vibe. We got seated immediately at the bar. Service was great and everyone was enjoying futbol. San Francisco looks amazing! Shared a few photos to enjoy. Hope you get a chance to try. Highly recommended.

Ordering at the counter was simple and straightforward. They offer all the classic café drinks, and this time I went with my usual hot Americano. At $3.50, I thought it was very reasonably priced. I also noticed some fun specialty drinks, like a raspberry matcha, along with a few seasonal offerings. They have pastries available as well if you're looking for a snack while you work. The bucatini was exactly how I like it--super thick, chewy, and cooked to a perfect al dente. But the real surprise was the gnocchi. The Gorgonzola cream sauce was hands down the best I've ever had. Gorgonzola can sometimes be a little too overpowering, but this sauce was incredibly creamy with the perfect balance of richness and flavor. We couldn't stop talking about it.

The pastries are all flaky and crispy, and you can tell they were crafted by a true craftsman. I think what makes Juniper so special is the selection of unique flavors they have. My favorite being their award-winning Cubano croissant, their black sesame kouign amann, and their choux pastries. I do want to call out how much I appreciate the amount of savory pastries they have since I don't always want a sweet treat the moment I wake up. To note, Juniper is typically busy, but I have never waited in line for more than 10 minutes, even on weekends. They also have a lot of tables for seating, but because of the flow of people, it might be difficult to find a spot. Stop by here if you're around the area! They are also a sister shop of Saint Frank, so you can get some coffee while you're here as well.

On the days we have gone, the line has varied from being out the door to a quick walk in and order - truly just depends. Regardless of the long line, these drinks are soooo good. Upon entering the coffee shop, you'll see a good amount of seating, but for the times we have gone, the majority of the seats are taken. It is definitely a variety of people socializing, working, reading books, or just hanging out. Parking is metered or street parking, and we haven't had any issue finding parking! It's also in an area where you can shop around (across the street) if you want to grab a bite as well. Our go to orders include the Mocha Dream Espresso Cloud and the Nitro Mango, but we have also gotten the Hojicha Cloud, which is amazing as well. We love the thickness and flavors of the cold foams - you cannot go wrong with any of the cloud drinks. As popular as this place has become, it truly is worth the trip! Walked down grant street yesterday afternoon. Found this place at the end of Chinatown! Wanted to give it a try because of the decorations. The upside down umbrellas from the ceiling looked awesome!
