    Spicy Fried Rice
    Mirei K.

This was my first time trying out an all vegan restaurant but it did not disappoint! What really drew me in was the crispy rice dish and it was very delicious! My partner tried the soy shrimp pad thai and the flavor was very on point. The server definitely kept to himself which was fine since there wasn't anything specific we needed.

Was in the area and was craving crispy rice and I came by this place and I'm glad I did. The ambiance was calm and relaxing. It's tucked in the corner of the shopping center and when I got there, there was plenty of parking. The server was friendly and on top of it. I tried the krispy rice and the crispy shrimp tacos and they were both good. I'd go again to try something new.

Another review - the sushi here is SO good and their green curry is amazing. Friendly wait staff.

Took a large family over and everyone loved all the food. Even though they are carnivores. They were scared - and happy. Impressed by the variety of different options. Eilat loved the shrimp tempura roll Tom Kah not spicy soup - delicious Thai chicken wings - fantastic. She loved the delicate and real chicken taste of the wings. Steve loved the chicken wings The beef with pineapple fried rice. Ella (10) was impressed by how good and real the fake chicken and beef tasted. Pad see ewe was great We all raved about the orange chicken, of course! My dad loved that we could bring in our wine. And of course, nothing would be as amazing without the service of the lovely Ryan! Thank you for accepting 10 people last minute. I got one request: To be able to make a reservation via open table, or something, so that I can see availability last minute while you're closed. I called 20 times at least starting at 8 am, couldn't leave a message or text or reserve in any way. It's happened once before, but the crowd wasn't willing to take the chance, so I lost the opportunity to take them. This time the crowd was willing to trust me that 95% it will be ok... and it was. Hope that makes sense. The ambiance was quiet and beautiful, as usual. I love being able to speak so highly about love and how everyone raves about everything, no matter who I take. Thank you for everything!

I'm not even vegan, and LOVE is a staple for me. Everything I've tried from here is delicious, from the Love on Fire roll, to the pumpkin curry, to the wings. There are so many gluten free options, and they are clearly delineated on the menu, which makes life easy for me. I've taken friends & family here who have a range of dietary restrictions, and we can always find something delicious. The waitstaff is friendly and attentive as well. Even though HOPE has a very similar menu, LOVE is my favorite (not to pit two divas against each other lol).

Review 1 of 2025 I am not a vegan or vegetarian, but I love exploring and trying different delicious type of Vegan cuisines with my family. My family made the reservation to celebrate New Year's Eve for lunch. We ordered several appetizers and entrees. There are some not pictured. I ordered Pumpkin Curry with Mixed Green Salad, and a heart shaped Japanese Rice. My protein choice was Beefless with medium spice. The curry flavor is similar to Panang Curry. Customer Service was fantastic. Everything at this restaurant is above and beyond and was delicious and very flavorful. For the dessert, we all loved the Banana Spring Rolls. Ambiance is nice and clean. Parking is very small, and you may need to find a spot somewhere on the street near by.

I'm obsessed with this place and I'm a meat eater! I've recommended it to all of my plant based friends and they love it as well Love on Fire- I seriously dream about this roll. The mushrooms and sauce come together perfectly. This is what every plant based sushi should be! Super nacho- I enjoyed this. It comes cold, which is a bit of a trip but the flavors of this are great. Mac and cheese- Unforutnetly this was one of those things that I could tell was plant based. It was a darker color than typical mac and cheese and just didn't do it for me. I'll be back for that roll!

I really feel this place is so special. I had a chance to visit after many years of not making it there and to see how much they've grown in this community is amazing especially when vegan establishments are having a hard time. With that being said their menu was about 4 times larger than when I had visited as I think at that time it was a test menu. I'm glad to see some of my favorites made it through the years I really enjoyed the Love on Fire roll as I did last time. The dumpling soup was a good size for two with other dishes shared. I suggest if you like wings getting the Thai Chili wings they were excellent and get them spicy of course! We made it an hour before closing but were never rushed even thought we placed a very large order and the server even made sure we had not intentions to order more when the kitchen was ready to close. We did make it out before closing and never felt like we needed to rush and that's always special as anytime you extend past a locations hours you are on their personal time. I say that as a reminder to always be considerate as much as people may love what they do, service workers deserve their time to themselves and completing anything for closing. I will always try to find time for this spot when I'm in California. 10/10

Love Organic Food provided excellent service and a pleasant ambiance, but our experience fell short of our previous visit. The chicken burger was a disappointment, consisting of a fried chicken patty served on subpar buns with a lackluster spicy mayo. The burrito was unremarkable, and the sushi roll lacked freshness and flavor. However, the crispy rice appetizer was a highlight of the meal. It's possible that the restaurant could benefit from reviewing its menu and curating a selection of only the most delicious dishes.

My new GO-TO. I'm so happy I found this place as a vegan, gluten-free person who loves Thai food. I'd actually been on the hunt for a good Pad See Ew (it's my favorite) and found this place with a little research. We went in to get some good to-go and ended up ordering way more than expected cause there were SO many options on the menu! The vibe is actually really nice for a smaller place. I'd actually come here for a casual date night cause there was a nice ambiance about it. The staff was so friendly, accommodating and welcoming too. The food smelled so good in the car that I started eating it immediately and couldn't stop. Best Pad See Ew ever! There were so many add on options for protein but I got the friend tofu which was excellent. Also got the hot wings which I wish I could eat everyday and my boyfriend got the drunken noodle and Tom Kha soup which he loved. The menu was almost entirely gluten free as well so I look forward to going back and trying new things. All in all 10/10!

Service is excellent here and I recommend dining in for optimal dining experience. However, all my leftovers were still fire, as well. I would recommend getting all of these dishes: *~Green Curry Dumpling ($12) - This may be a sleeper hit but the green curry surrounding the steamed veggie dumplings is a nice level of spicy and just makes my mouth watering thinking about this appetizer. *~Crispy Duck Rolls ($14) - They're fresh & feel so refreshing to eat with a few pieces of roasted duck inside and their fresh Thai slaw with some hoisin sauce, all wrapped in rice paper and lettuce, of course. I'm obsessed with this appetizer, as well! *~Pad Thai Meltdown ($22) - This is the most fun spin on pad thai of all time! I'm a basic girl and goodness do I love pad thai. Well their recipe is absolutely delicious ~ but this dish has melted cheese on top, as well! It's not as weird as it sounds, it's actually amazing just making the dish taste more creamy, not really cheesy tasting. My only disappoint was they are supposed to grate & melt the cheese tableside and that didn't happen. I went on a busy lunch though so I'm assuming that's why we didn't get the tableside show! Maybe next time! *~Chef Katt's Special Fried Rice ($18) - If you're going to get a fried rice, this classic Thai one may be the one to get with sweet Thai sausage slices and bacon pieces throughout. Loved this fried rice! Honestly, this was the best Thai food I've had in ages! They are adding little spins on dishes to make them fresh and new, and most importantly - delicious! I'll be back soon!

I had a craving for Esco's pizza (a telltale sign that Esco's has now occupied my brain more than the neighboring pizzerias) so I popped in on a Sunday and found that they had slices of oxtail pizza. I immediately ordered it. They also had jerk chicken pizza and a chicken pesto pizza. After talking to the woman behind the counter, I decided to order pesto pizza, since she recommended it and it was the best decision! The chicken pesto pizza is so flavorful. Chicken pieces were cooked tender, not dry and it was fully marinated in the pesto. Great fresh tastes of basil, Parmesan cheese and the pine nuts, one slice was enough to be a satisfying meal. Buuut, I didn't in this case, because I still had the oxtail! The beef was tender with a slight crispy edge and was served generously on the slice. Jalapeno slices add just the right amount of heat. It comes with a a side of consomme where you can dip your pizza. I would definitely come back for both slices. People from Esco's are mad friendly and hospitable which is a huge pull for me. Bumped up the rating a star!

My husband has type 1 diabetes so we very rarely eat at Italian ristorantes. Chef Tara has helped us rediscover a new world of flavor without negative impacts on my husband's blood sugar and cholesterol. (Thanks for the variety of non-dairy cheeses!!) Tip for first-timers: go when you can have the brunch or the lunch menu. Then you'll have so many options that you'll have to return! Round 1 Polpettine (meatballs) are made from lentils and texture similar to the real ones; lovely marinara sauce and ground macadamia nut instead of parmesan. Complement this with the citrus notes that highlight the sauteed swiss chard with earthy Italian butter / gigante beans. Round 2 The same beans are in the Greek goddess salad: rich with tomatoes, kalamata olives, and fresh red onions. This was a visually stunning and paired well with the Sicilian almond 'tuna' melt. The tuna is by far the most imaginative. Again, Chef Tara and the back of the house nailed the texture and I loved the hints of crunchy celery. The capers injected tiny bursts of salt and tartness. The only moderation I'd consider is slightly crisping / toasting the sandwich bread -- but the tuna melt sando is great as it is. The sauce was flavorful without being sickly sweet, while the chicken, potatoes, and carrots were also of good quality. They were also small-ish pieces, not the huge ones you sometimes get, though the portions of them was actually large. So large, in fact, that I sort of regret getting something else as well. Sort of. I also got the Crispy Wontons, which were thin but still tasty, and rather filling (you get six). But as good as they were, they and the curry was too much. It also didn't help that, along with the white rice that came with my curry, I got something they call Healthy Rice, which is (according to the menu), "wild black rice, brown rice, [and] red quinoa" (I actually thought I was getting the Healthy Rice instead of the white, but whatever.) It was okay; the white rice was much better, especially when it had some yellow curry sauce on it. And no, to answer the obvious question, I didn't eat all of the rice. Just all of the white and some of the Healthy. As for the place itself, it was clean, and the staff were very friendly. The food also came out in a decent amount of time, and was nice and hot when it did. The place is small, though. There's maybe a dozen seats outside, and fewer inside, which may explain why most of the people who came in walked out with a bag a minute later. Also, the seats outside were wooden stools, which didn't bother me, but it would've been an issue for my elderly mother, and thus other people as well. Oh, and this has become a thing with me and resteraunts lately: napkins and utensils. Thankfully, this place's napkins were the big kind, and they gave me two of them, while the utensils were real and metal, not plastic. In fact, the only bad thing about the place is that it's on La Brea, and a block below Wilshire, so parking may be an issue. They do have valet at night, but I didn't check to see how much it was. I most recently grabbed a Chicken Sandwich & a cookie to go, after having just had a late lunch with a friend, as part of her birthday celebration! That Chicken Sandwich is something special... the flavor of it all & seasoning keeps me coming back for more!! Vegan Chocolate Chip Cookie | Yum! At first, I was hesitant, because I don't really like sprinkles as much! Let me let you know that the Vegan sprinkles on top of the yummy cookie are absolutely delicious! Sweet Potato Fries | Tasty & delicious alongside the Chicken Sandwich! I love, sweet potato fries! Seating & Parking | Inside & Outside Patio Seating! I've only experienced the outside patio seating with vibrant, yellow umbrella cover tables! Super cute! Parking is free and shared with other shops & restaurants! Sharing Is Caring | While attending an event/luncheon in Beverly Hills, I sat next to this really cool girl who lives in Culver City! In the midst of our fun & constant conversation and letting her know that I was Vegetarian/Pescatarian, she recommended Hey, Sunshine Kitchen! Thanks again! You are so right, I loved it! Also, while chatting with my Vegan Private Chef friend, told him about the sandwich, & he let me know that he enjoyed it the minute he tried it! Overall | Well, Hey Sunshine, you will definitely see me again! As you can see, the Chicken Sandwich had me a hello! Haha! I highly recommend! Let's go!

I'm so glad I stumbled on this spot while browsing UberEats! I ordered the Classic…read moreCheeseburger--it's a Beyond Burger, but the kitchen gives it this subtle, flavorful upgrade that leaves most of the uninspired vegan burgers I've had on my travels in the dust. It's easily my new go-to. Pro tip: Since I was ordering delivery, I called the restaurant directly right after placing it to ask if they'd leave the patty on the grill just a touch longer than usual. They were so sweet about it and executed it flawlessly. Also, can we talk about the coleslaw? I usually steer clear of restaurant slaw because so many places drown it in heavy, uninviting mayo. But Sunshine absolutely delivered. Their dressing is beautifully light and slightly sweet--honestly, it makes an amazing burger topping. So many vegan spots rely way too heavily on processed, hyper-engineered faux meats and cheeses. This place strikes such a lovely, authentic balance. You can get a genuinely vibrant, healthy bowl, or dive into comfort food classics like their mean vegan chicken sandwich--and I hear the sweet potato fries are a fantastic side, too. To top it all off, the female owners are absolute gems. Even over the phone, they treat everyone with this effortless, warm hospitality that makes you feel like an old friend. It's just great energy all around. Check them out!
