I've been wanting to try this location for quite some time after having had a great experience at their now closed Casa Linda location. And this visit did not disappoint. Quite the opposite. My friend and I went on a Friday afternoon and had the lunch slice special. I had sausage and she had the ricotta pizza. We both had salad with house dressing and iced tea. Everything exceeded our expectations. My pizza had ample sausage and a very tasty sauce. While plain it was delicious. Hers was more fancy with dollops of ricotta placed about. It also had a nice, not overpowering, garlic taste. Both slices were generous and just the right size for lunch. The salads were fresh and the house dressing is recommended. Service was friendly and efficient. Our server even took time to tell us his favorites which warrant another visit. The menu is full and diverse, to my thinking. Also there are four beers on tap that I saw. Prices seem reasonable to me although I haven't dined there in the evening. The ambiance is comfortable leaning towards classy especially for what was once an Arby's. Plenty of seating and parking on site. All in all a fine meal at a very reasonable price.

Max has worked here for a year now off to Boston College - getting his Masters AND Ph.d. in Chemical Engineering. We'll miss him.

Great service and delicious food and drink at a good price. Most servers have been working here a long time so they know the menu and prices and are efficient and friendly. The bar area is a cool place to gather with friends and neighbors.

Pizza taste good, have had thick crust and thin and both are good. Salads are huge! Very skimpy on ingredients! Not a cheap date, $48.50 for one pizza and salad, this has pepperoni, hamburger, Italian sausage, green pepper, black olives and jalapeños. It was all bread. I've ordered twice, that'll be it unfortunately.

Love their pizza! We decided to branch out and try something new in the neighborhood. Enjoyed their veggie thin crust pizza and it was delivered quickly. Tons of black olives, green peppers and tomatoes with the perfect ratio of cheese to sauce and yummy crust. Also, we noticed not any added grease which is a huge plus and all fresh ingredients. The crust was thin but not too thin. The large size was more than enough for two and we enjoyed leftovers for lunch today. We'll order from here again soon (or go in person) and maybe try something else on their menu too!

Good times at Lover's Pizza when neighbors drop in!

So I go to Lover's Pizza on Garland Road for a slice of pizza and see my friend Mary at the bar. We hug and take a picture to send to our friends Kathy and Cathy. And then I get a call to order food for Kathy's husband. He shows up for his To Go order and a few minutes later both K/Cathys show up. Now the bar area is full and Geneva the bartender is happy. Hubby heads off (flying out of state for work) and the four ladies head to a backyard for a nightcap. Lover's is my GO-TO place for a great service and a delicious slice of Pizza. You never know which neighbor will drop in while you are there

Nice local place. Enjoyed the chicken Parmesan. This isn't gourmet food but good for a quick bite.

We started with the focaccia bread (5/5). Wow--this might be some of the best bread I've ever had. Perfectly crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and the dip was delicious. I usually try not to fill up on bread before the entrées arrive, but we made sure to finish every bite. We also ordered the burrata salad (5/5), which was a very generous portion and absolutely delicious. I would definitely order it again. For our entrées, my friend and I shared the chicken piccata and the bolognese. The chicken piccata was a 5/5 for me, while the bolognese was a 4.5/5. Both dishes were excellent and I'd happily order either again. This visit was a completely different experience from my first one, and I'm glad I came back. I'd love to return with my husband sometime.

The restaurant was very busy, the acoustics made it had to have a conversation and hear each other. Food was wonderful, I had the chicken Parmesan on recommendation from our server and it was phenomenal. Others in our party enjoyed their food as well.

It was a little too windy and hot for us, so we hurried downstairs to enjoy dinner afterwards. I'm sure the rooftop is much more comfortable during different weather conditions, and they can't control the weather, so don't let that deter you. The dining room was packed! We didn't have reservations, so we ended up at the bar, but the bar tender, Izzi made our experience feel so elevated! He was charismatic, charming, and genuinely interested in getting to know us! He was knowledgeable about the menu and had tons of recommendations for us! We ended up getting the bolognese and lasagna. Both dishes were hearty, delicious, and had plenty for leftovers later. Needless to say, we sat at the bar, but Izzi made us feel like we were sitting at the most important table in the house! The entire bar staff seemed very "elite". The owner should give them all a raise and the customers should tip them well!

The restaurant is beautifully designed and decorated. Unfortunately, the food leaves much to be desired. We ordered the fritto misto, the gnocchi, and the lasagna. We had high hopes as we love authentic Italian food, but this did not meet the bar. I would return for drinks & fellowship with friends & family, but that's simply it.

Pretty good. Always drove past the place I wanted to try it out. I remember reading about the name…read morechange fiasco. Came for 6pm dinner rez with my husband. I have plenty of parking in the back. Ordered the chilled crab claw appetizer and the portion was very generous. The crab meat was a bit firmer and drier than I expected, though that may simply be due to it being served chilled. Overall, we enjoyed it. For entrees, we shared the casino linguine vongole (clam pasta)- they split this on 2 plates for us, and chicken parm vodka (forgot to take a photo). Both were very good! We couldn't finish the entrees and so we put them in to-go boxes. I feel like they tasted even better the next day, lol. Service was great!

Wow. Worst service ever. Our waiter "greeted" our table with "shall I get you a bottle and five…read moreglasses?" Presumably meaning wine, but we were considering cocktails and a bit confused by the question. He said "I'll come back when you're ready," and disappeared for the first of many long absences. From the beginning it felt like we were ruining his life. He was cheerless and curt and wouldn't make eye contact with anyone. It would be more understandable if the restaurant was super busy or understaffed. But this was Monday at 6 pm. We listed a birthday on the reservation, but it wasn't acknowledged. Why bother to ask if we are celebrating? We waited for empty plates and glasses to be cleared between courses. We waited a long time for him to return so we could order a second glass of wine. Even longer for the plates to be cleared and longer still for the opportunity to order dessert...a piece of cake for the birthday girl and two after dinner drinks...but the drinks weren't picked up from the bar when the cake was delivered, and only remembered when we asked for the check. We watched him pick them up (well after the cake was consumed) on his way to leave the bill. No mention that they had been overlooked, no thank you, no good night. This was our first time at Barsotti's and it will be our last. Aside from the awful service, we had issues with the food as well. The veal was pounded paper thin and fried hard resulting in a tough, chewy texture similar to dried beef or jerky. It was dry and overcooked on two different dishes. On a more positive note, we enjoyed the fried ravioli appetizer and the redfish was fine. While our waiter was largely MIA and unpleasant when he did show up, the bus boy/assistant was gracious and attentive. Maybe he was trying to compensate for his colleague. BTW, the offensive employee was in his late 40s to mid 50s with a slight build and salt and pepper hair.
