Buyer beware. We bought a refrigerator from Lowes and instead of leaving the old one in the garage as we requested the delivery service took our old refrigerator. We then went to the store to explain what happened and were assured it would be returned to us. That was a month ago. Obviously they have no intention of keeping their word. In addition, we had ordered carpet from Lowes over three months ago. We paid in full but have yet to even set an install date. read more

They have displays of material they don't sell, rudeness to customers has been rewarded with promotions and protection plans are misrepresented. If you cancel you get a gift card only good at Lowe's. Reimbursement for a protection plan comes in the form of a gift card good only at Lowe's and is not what was presented to us at the store. Hey Lowe's, do you care about the professionalism and quality of your contractors? If so, why are you still using service pros? Have you read their reviews? I have had a carpet install scheduled since September, carpet ordered in August. They showed up today and left within 5 minutes not even having a conversation with me, but instead calling Lowes from their van stating that I had too many personal items. They had Lowe's call me as they drove off, having zero conversation with me. When I scheduled the install with service pros I asked what needed to be moved and they stated as long as its not plumbing, they move everything. Mind you, just getting this scheduled took several days of voice messages and long hold times to get to a live person. I had two bookshelves with books in them, some papers in a desk, a few folded blankets, at 27" tv, small printer and a toy shelf with toy bins. I was happy to move these items and did within 15 minutes. I have a master closet that was completely empty that they could have started in if they just would have communicated with me like a normal person. This makes zero sense and it appears that this is a consistent problem with their service. Why are you still using them?? I will never use Lowe's again for any major purchase like this unless you do better to provide quality service from purchase to install vs taking our money and letting us deal with this awfulness to get our product. Don't recommend shopping here or trying to work here. It's hard getting a job here. It's easier to get into Harvard than it is to go to work for Lowes. I've applied four times and denied each and every time. Yeah I have a couple simple misdemeanors true, but I just finished working for another national company for the summer that's just as big as lowes. I could get a government job easier than trying to get a job for lowes. Avoid lowes at all cost. They have sleazy people who do nothing but lie to you repeatedly when you call about your application. They have oh-so-much Christmas paraphernalia! That's what I like to see from a home-improvement store. They also have a pretty nice selection of plants. One would have a difficult time discerning a Lowe's from a Home Depot on the inside -- they're both pretty similar. But there's something about Lowe's that I prefer, and I try to go to them over HD. I like this Lowe's because the parking lot is HUGE, and the building is all by itself, so it's really easy to get in and get out. read more

This has to be the very worst customer service I have ever experienced. I am renovating a home in Carmel IN and bought a new refrigerator and dishwasher. After several challenges with the installation which are still not resolved, I had a service call. They were to be here between 10-1. At 1:30 I called as no one had shown. I was hung up on three times after waiting close to 10 minutes each time. Treated rudely by Victoria in customer service many times and then when I asked to speak to a manager I was put on hold another 7 minutes when Jeffery came on the line. Apparently I irritated him as he had better things to do than listen to my frustration. Jody is the ASM. William Murray is the GM. He's running a very poorly serviced store-I hope he takes notice and whatever bonus he receives is significantly impacted. Given I finally gave up getting any manager after sitting on the phone, forcing them to leave the line open until I got to speak with the manager on duty, I'll be content leaving it here for all to see. It's a shame - maybe they should replace William with the GM for the Loughborough store in ST. Louis GM. They have great customer service. read more

Lowe's appliance warranty is a straight up scam. I've been trying to call for days and never manage to talk to anyone. I've been on hold for 36:15 as I type this. My fridge is leaking water all over my kitchen floor and you won't answer the phone so I can file a claim. There simply isn't a circumstance where this is ok or acceptable. It's absolutely pathetic, and there should be a price for you to pay. Hopefully when I file the inevitable flooring damage claim with my insurance company they will sue you and Samsung both. read more

Order for 2, portable Evaporate coolers. April 8, 2021 they charged our credit card, $860.00 April 21, they attempted to deliver 1 of the coolers but wanted us to sign for both. We did not accept the shipment. Called Lowes to get our money back. They tell us it will take 21 days. Have repeatedly called Lowes since to get our money back. Every time there's an excuse why they haven't refunded. Everyone we talk to is polite (expect the lady we spoke with on May 10th, who simply lied about the problem being with our bank) but ineffective. Three months on, Lowes still has our money and we do not have the coolers. No customer service NO ONE at Lowes cares. NEVER do business with Lowes. read more

We recently had a washer and dryer combo delivered and installed from Lowes Madison Indiana. The delivery company, Spirit Logistics Network, was absolutely the worst, unprofessional, disrespectful, and careless group of individuals I have ever had to deal with. Why Lowes would associate themselves with this company is mind boggling! To make things worse the help I have received from not only my local Lowes store but also the customer service hotline has not been much better. I could go on and on about the details of why this was the worst experience ever I'll try to keep things short. The first attempted delivery ended with them returning everything from my order cause 1 piece was damaged after they informed me they would bring in and install the dryer and return a few days later with the new washer. They just loaded up and left without saying a word then sent me a delivery confirmation with pictures of the washer and dryer on my porch. After getting that resolved the 2nd attempted delivery resulted in a broken water pipe, flooded laundry room, damaged walls, new flooring damaged, brand new washer and dryer sitting out in the muddy yard for 3 hours, and my old washer ended up in my neighbors flower bed. The lack of respect for peoples property was unbelievable. I was offered a 10 percent discount (which I haven't received yet) and the responsibility of fixing and cleaning up all the damage mess that was left behind. The only answered I receive from Lowes is that Spirit Logistics is gonna start a claim. I didn't chose to do business with them. I chose to do business with Lowes and they have completely failed to back up their products and services. Horrible service regarding sending the wrong closet doors. Had to call Tustin store multiple times, over an hour on hold with calls stored multiple times. When I talked to a manager had to email her a copy of the order because she couldn't find the sizes on her paperwork. She had Millwork call back, went over the wrong items again (don't seem they talked to each other), they asked for pictures which I emailed. Waited 10 days without hearing anything. Today went through the same thing being on hold and dropped calls. When I finally got Millwork and then a manager, they had no record of the previous calls or emails. Now waiting to hear back until both managers can talk. Too bad there is not a zero star option. read more

I ordered a new refrigerator in the store. It arrived completely crushed, the delivery man refused to deliver. He told me a replacement would come tomorrow and took our old fridge. Tomorrow comes, the refrigerator never shows up. I call and wait 56 minutes for support. They tell me a replacement order was never filed. They file one and tell me the replacement will be there tomorrow. Two days later, I get a call and Lowes tells me the fridge is out of stock. They try to find a similar fridge but I give up trying to shop for a fridge on the phone and ask for a full refund. They tell me in order to get a refund it has to come from the distribution center. They forward my call. I wait 1hr and 20mins and no one answers. I call back later that day and wait another 46 mins for someone to answer. They tell me that they are in NC and can't do a refund in OH. I ask how to get ahold of the OH distribution center and they tell me they can't because all calls are forwarded to NC. Soooo.. getting a refund for a product they never delivered is impossible. Aside from this, we were left without a fridge for 10 days. I found the youngest cashier in the store and demanded a refund. She did it, despite Lowes telling me I could not get a refund in-store. You've lost our business forever. read more

Buying from Lowe's online has been so miserable. I doubt I'll ever buy there again. I've ordered from Home Depot many times in the past with no issues. With Lowe's, once one of your items arrives, you can no longer track the rest of your order because the tracking information tells you your order has arrived. To fix this, you have to call Lowe's customer service and wait more than an hour to reach a live person. I've rejected an order item that I had to pick up at a store that was an hour away because it was damaged. Two days later, my account still doesn't show that they've returned the item. And two large items that were supposed to have been delivered more than a week ago, keep having an "Emergency delay" and the item is rescheduled. This has happened 3 times for 2 Items! Went in to have a 12,000 roofing job done. Yes, I look very young for my age. The gentleman working the pro desk just totally disregarded me standing there. The costomer had to even ask me Im sorry were you here first. This did not stop the clerk, Chigo, from still going directly to the other customer who was a male pushing a cart full of material...All I needed to do is schedule for a quote. He, Chigo, saw how I was looking and laughed it off as if there was no disrespect done. He gave me a number to call and still laughed it off as if it was nothing. She called Carlos but he never showed! I went to front desk and they paged someone for our aisle. Waited another 10 minutes when an employee just walked by and said "finding everything"? Ummm..no...paged for someone three times! He scanned the shelf tag and confirmed there should be seven. Up and down the aisle looking at upper boxes for part number...couldn't find it. I was told that "if the inventory is under ten it may not be correct"...wasted an hour - left without the part! read more

I was at the Pinellas Park store in Florida on 8/12/2020 To pick up windows And fans for a client. The clerk from pick up department could find my order(name and phone was provided by me), so she sent me to the pro desk. Same story there, they sent me to mill department. The employee from mill dep. send me back to pick up desk. By then I received an email with order number and she found a cart just few feet from her with the Fans and windows. Big sign with my client name was attached to it. The employee from mill department told me to wait there for the windows. After several minutes he came from the other side of store screaming at me to move my vehicle to the other side of the store to get the windows. I ask him to bring them to where he ask me to wait. He yelled again at me that the cart didn't fit through the store, I ask him to lower his voice and told him "I'm not your child ", he just put his arms up and said"screw you" and walked down back to his mill department. I did walked to the cart and pulled it to the pick up desk area (of course the cart fit through The store!) and asked for the store manager. He was on a meeting. The cashiers manager talked to me apologizing for everything. The pick up department clerk corroborate my story to the cashiers manager. Store manager call me later and apologize as well. I'm a Latino immigrant and black as well . Never meet the employee at mill work department before. Is there a reason why I was treated like garbage at the Lowe's store? We went in to grab some materials for a small project. The service was so bad and weird that I half expected a TV crew to pop out. The "advice" we received was inaccurate and strange. The employees were all having personal issues with each other and having the conversations in front of us. I ordered baseboard for my house over the phone and apparently the invoice I received in the email doesn't read any order number , something they ask for to look up my order. It reads a transaction # that is if no use to them while tracking stuff. The email said I would receive the order Oct 12, 2021 between 08:00am to 12:00 pm which hasn't come through. From a separate order, I have 3 baseboards missing which was supposed to have 18 in total. They called me a week ago to tell me that a transition profile for the flooring I ordered was missing from my last order delivered and that would be delivered this week which in fact delivered last week itself. Now I'm trying to track my second order and they're referring to the "missing profile" from last order and can't find the actual order. I have called them atleast 13 times in last 3 days and still don't have a resolution. This is causing delay in my project and all they do in the store is show me attitude as though I'm obliged to them. A lady named Ericka I last spoke to at the Lynwood lowe's asked me to call again tomorrow and look for a guy named "Sam" whom I spoke to this afternoon and was supposed to get back to me "in a few hours." My experience has been inconsistent that include them telling when the schedule is and most importantly hanging up on me when I challenge the answers that do not make sense. For a major store, customer service should be a major goal. I bought a lot of blinds and they delivered the wrong ones, had to wait three more weeks (6 weeks total) to have the right ones installed and now a big one fell down so I called and haven't heard anything back for 5 days. When I called them (on the phone for half hour) they didn't have record of it. No one was in the blind department so they told me to call back. Lowe's in Colorado Springs on Nevada. They were supposed to have curbside pickup for on-line orders. We pulled in to one of the designated pick-up parking slots and called the number. There was no option to enter the 4-digit extension when voice mail answered the call. If you tried to enter the 4-digit extension, you were transferred to Appliances or were hung up on. Finally had to go into the store where we waited 15 minutes at the customer service pickup desk for the 1 person who was working there. After giving her the order number, we asked who would bring the order to the car and she was very surprised that we wouldn't do it ourselves. Curbside pickup?!? Not in a million years!! I went to Lowe's to purchase a new Washer. I wanted to take it with me. The person in the appliance department didn't know what he was doing. He kept try to process our payment and he couldn't. At that point, he told us he would invoice it and we would have to pay upfront. I said that was fine, but wanted to make sure my card was removed for the system. He insisted it was. Well thank god we have alerts set up on our card. We received a notice saying our card was charged twice. One for the cost of the wash $1,164 and another charge for $3,406. I went back to the store and the Manager Amberli insisted that was an Error and would drop off. Well it didn't and I had to go back to the store again. The manager that was there today said she had to make calls to see what was going on. I received a call 2.5 hours later saying they found the charge and was refunding it back to me. Thank god I didn't wait there. It's ridiculous that I had to drive there multiple times to get this handled. I requested the receipt showing the refund get sent to me via email. When I received it, I noticed that I paid for the persons order after me. That was really nice of Lowe's to charge me for the next persons refrigerator, washer, dryer, and $30 to remove each appliance for them. I received NO apology and no explanation how this happened. My advice to everyone check you credit card and bank statements after to check out, so it doesn't happened to you! We will be going elsewhere anytime we need something! Customer service is horrible. I am a furious customer that used to be a very loyal Lowe's consumer. At this time, I will NEVER be shopping at your store nor getting any services from you again. We had both our garage door opener and deck installed from Lowe's and it was an absolutely horrible experience. We dealt with numerous delays in both installations and the contractors that completed the work were not knowledgeable or efficient in getting the job done which required us to take additional days off work. It was the absolute worst experience and when calling customer service they were not helpful or sympathetic to the situation. Six months later we are STILL experiencing issues. Our garage door opener just broke and after being put on and off hold for almost an hour they told me that I had to wait an additional 24-48 hours to even SCHEDULE the installer to come and fix the issue. Customer service was not helpful in the slightest with this issue and was not willing to support. The deck has two boards that are cracked that were supposed to be replaced over two months ago and the company has STILL not come out to fix the damaged boards. I will NEVER use Lowe's for any installation service in the future nor would I EVER recommend anyone to use their services. read more

Came back another day but apparently they did not have time to help us, even though they were just sitting at desk. Went back yesterday and was ignored. It was not busy. Finally a woman asked us if we needed help as she was walking by. She said she probably could not answer our questions, but at least she asked! I went to Home Depot and spent thousands of dollars. I am building a 10k square ft shop and of course I am trying to save money every where I can. Lowes and Home Depot both have incentives for your 1st purchase with one of their credit cards. Home Depot provided credit cards on the spot for both me and my wife. We each received a $100.00 discount. Lowes offers almost same thing but for some unknown reason they won't give us credit cards even though our credit scores linger around 800 and we have way more than enough credit. I contracted through Lowe's to have my French doors replaced. The contractor broke a piece of siding adjacent to the doors during the install and has refused to fix it. They have sent two people out to look at it, both said yes that needs to be fixed but no one will. My case has been closed as fixed four times with zero action. Never again will I buy an appliance from Lowes. I was told it would be in by the end of the week. Two weeks later it arrived at the warehouse. However, it was damaged. So, I wait another week. I was given an extra 10% off, so that was nice. I then have the dishwasher installed . I come home and realize I have very little water pressure in my sink faucet. I call to get this fixed. They say someone will call me. 10 days later I call back, because no one has called me to come fix it. ( Yes, I tried You Tube to fix the problem.) Monday someone calls me to schedule to come out to fix it Wednesday at 10am. I take off work. I then get a call Wednesday morning saying someone will be here between 12-3. I tell them I already have someone scheduled for 10 am. They hang up and tell me they are calling back. I call the guy that called me Monday. He said the guy that was supposed to come had car trouble. Then, he says, "I just called on Monday to let you know that I would call you at ten." What? Really? You just said the guy that was supposed to come at 10am had car trouble? After waiting until 4 PM because their car broke down again. They finally came and told me there was nothing they could do. I called Naomi form Lowes who also informed me there was nothing that could be done. I asked her if she thought it was ok to leave something in non-working condition. She informed me that "sometimes that just happens". After arguing my point she offered a free faucet, but I would have to pay for the install. I ended up calling a plumber. He was there for less than five minutes and fixed the issue. Someone from Lowes was supposed to call to go over the situation. Shocking. No one has called. read more

The employees are quite friendly & knowledgeable. Dylan in the paint department was so helpful explaining the different types of paint available & the best uses for each kind. We had 4 gallons of paint to mix & it was ready in about 15-20 mins. The paint selection was vast & the biggest problem we had was choosing the colors we wanted to use. We also found curtains similar to ones I'd seen at another store but they were less expensive here...so we bought them and the rod/accessories needed for our patio door. We will definitely return to the Carmel Lowe's to get the rest of our paint, curtains & anything else that comes up in our home's makeover. read more

I want to start out by saying that I'm aware the holidays are a busy time for all stores and covid doesn't help but this is ridiculous. Stores are offering curbside pickup. I choose curbside pickup because I have underlying health conditions. I was alerted that my order was ready so clicked on the app that I was "on my way". Drove to the store and parked in the numbered spot. Clicked "I'm here" on the app and it tells me that an associate will be right with me. So I make some phone calls. Pay some credit card bills. Sing a few songs. I realize it's been 20 minutes so I call the number on the sign. Over and over and over trying all of the number options. Nothing. I finally see an associate with an alien face mask loading up another curbside pickup spot (she arrived long after me by the way). While he's walking away from her spot I say "sir, I've been sitting here trying to call and get my order for over 45 minutes". He responds in an angry tone "well did you try going in?" Oh geez sir. Never thought of that ‍. Why would I go in when I specifically ordered curbside to protect myself? Seriously. The store always has what I need in stock so that's good but they need a serious training class on customer service and if you can't handle curbside pickup then don't offer it. Very poor experience with a contractor that Lowes uses. All I can say is I will never do it again. The plumming contractor tightened down a toilet so tight that it pulled the flange out of the floor which they tried to cover by caulking around the toilet. Compressed the wax so tight it was razor thin. Had pictures taken when it was repaired and corrected by a major plumming contractor but Lowes offered no acceptance of guilt or reimbursement. Be careful if considering their install services. Wish I could give no stars. read more

I made an online order for about $3,500. The charge was placed on my card and then within hours credited back. I got a notification from Lowes that the payment was declined. I went back on to the order and noticed that half of the order was paid for, so I re-paid for the other half. Then yesterday Lowes charged me AGAIN for the full amount. I am now charged twice for $3,500 and am told that it will release in a week or 2. This is totally unacceptable.
