Like many yelpers, I ended up here because I saw the reviews. 1. Yes, they're friendly. 2. Yes, the oil change was quick However, I wasn't expecting to be offended or find the establishment/owners racist. I came 2 days later for some mechanical work after my engine light came on, in fact I was content to return since the initial experience seemed nice. Within 15 minutes of arriving, I asked for my keys back. While waiting for the mechanic to return with all his findings, I found a print out of a very racist e-mail up on their wall. Proudly taped up along with other "opinionated" print outs. Frankly, I was outraged and saddened. People who share racist, ignorant and divisive rhetoric are indeed part of the problem of society. Also, everyone is entitled to their own opinion, however, I strongly believe that businesses are better off not being so "open" about their owners' beliefs. I asked for my keys back, yes, partly upset in knowing that I have to find someone else to fix the myriad of issues on my car, but also knowing I didn't just turn my head and pretend it didn't happen. I didn't just ignore what my heart and gut felt and stay there supporting an establishment that has made it clear that some humans are better than others. read more

If there was zero stars I would choose that instead! Took my Honda for a routine oil change and without even quoting a price came back to find they had mysteriously put some "special" oil in my car, thus charging me $80!!!! for a routine oil change. This place is absolutely dishonest and took complete advantage of me. I took my car for it's next oil change to the regular Honda dealer and the oil change PLUS a full service came out to $70! I am appalled at the utter manipulation I experienced at this place. Do not go here!!! read more

I've been coming to Lube Center for 5+ years. The customer service is always wonderful. They are quick to return calls if I've left a message. I typically get oil changes but get other things taken care of as needed. My husband and I have ended up at other places on occasion, where we were told something needed to be replaced asap, and then we'd get a second opinion from Lube Center, who would give us a less dramatic more informative answer. I'm happy to be supporting a small business that earns its customers. read more

Don't take your car anywhere else but here. Oil was changed in 25 mins and they pointed out some things I hadn't noticed. They even vacuumed inside and topped off my washer fluid. Really nice guys and deff my most enjoyable experience ever getting my oil changed. read more

Saw the reviews on the Lube Center and took my car over for an oil change. They not only changed my oil, but check my tire pressure (which was low) refilled some of the engine fluids and cleaned my front window. Absolutely the best customer service hands down! read more

I've been using these guys for years now and I'm very satisfied with their service. A lot of times I can't get my car in early but they can often change my oil while I wait. Also my car is past 170k now and I'm sure their service is the reason it hasn't exploded yet. To my surprise, I was in and out in 15 minutes on a Saturday morning! Service was great, I was offered coffee and water the minute I walked in the door. They didn't try to upsell me or anything, just recommended I get an air filter change the next time I need an oil change. They even vacuumed the interior and washed my windows! I saw a few of the "top reviews" here on Yelp, drove by, and an hour to an hour and a half wait for an oil change. It's not their fault their business is good, but I just didn't have the time today. I needed quick! So I popped into the Lube Center, and while not only finding the guys here courteous, helpful, and quick with my car, the great help at the front desk even shared my first name - Brent. It was a win win, and the oil-change couldn't have been quicker. They even have 4 computers in their comfortable waiting area, with free internet for the customers, and I'm using one of them to write a review for them right now. I'd recommend this spot to anyone. Don't bring a book, you won't even have time to open it. read more

These guys are great. I go there during lunch break and it usually takes less than 30 mins to do the oil change. They're super friendly, and thorough. On today's visit, I told them I'd be taking a bunch of long car trips in the near future and would like to see everything double-checked, and they did so and were totally honest about the fact that... guess what... NO work needed to be done! I would guess many unscrupulous mechanics might take this opportunity to make a repair for unneeded work, but they told it like it was. It's not super cheap, it's $34 or so for an oil change, but with the peace of mind from an honest mechanic, that price is worth it. AND they cleaned my windshield, and vacuumed my floor mats to boot. Referred by a friend, I brought my vehicle here for an oil change this afternoon. The place was clean and well kept with several amenities in the waiting room such as multiple internet enabled computers, coffee, and even a working vintage telephone booth (complete with a Superman suit on a hanger). Service on my vehicle was performed quickly, there was no attempt to up-sell any service, the owner and staff are competent, and the price is fair. Can't really ask for more than that...... When my daughter was new in town, we selected this place for an oil change based on the on line reviews. We were not disappointed. Everything was quick, there is internet in the waiting room, and they did a great job. The cost was as quoted on their board--a little higher than I'm used to "at home," but everything in California is a little higher. When the car broke down, we called them to find out where to take it and were very pleased to find that they do repair work as well. We had AAA send a tow truck and took the car to them. Ron checked it out while we were there and explained that a particular belt had broken; he would call us with the price and info as soon as he got it. We heard back within a couple hours that this was the only problem he'd found and that he thought he could have it fixed that same day. I'm not a car expert, but I felt that the price was fair and the service was excellent. I've been going to this place for oil changes for the past 10 years and every time I have gone, they are nothing but helpful. Unlike most oil places, they don't try and sell you anything. Their prices are fair as well with the average price for an oil and filer change being around $36 for a sedan.They also offer free internet, & coffee. Can't recommend them more! read more

So fast! A little pricey but I don't mind since it was such fast service. I think one of the dudes working there is a Marvel fan. I had a little trouble actually driving into the station because it's located on this odd turn of Victory Blvd and there was a car parked right in one of the entrances. Like any auto center I've been to this place was equally as gritty as the rest of them. I hate dealing with mechanics who see me/my tits coming through and probably think with dollar signs in their eyes "I wonder how much I can rip this broad off today" but I didn't get that vibe from this place. The guy handling my car was so friendly and apologized for the wait (there wasn't much of a wait, he just had another customer to assist) and even had a little conversation with me! So nice. I really wanted some coffee and I'm pretty sure the guy offered when he took my car in...but I didn't see any! Maybe I had to ask for it again, I'm not sure. Oh well, no biggie! first time there today after reading all the great reviews and i must agree. Ron (the owner) was very polite. I pulled my car up, he invited me into the office area and told me to help myself to some coffee and to use their free computer workstation, check emails, etc. how awesome is that? normally, im stuck reading 2002 subscriptions of national geographic. before they started any work, Ron mentioned a few things I needed taking care of. he gave me some approximate prices on my battery which needed replacing and my brake pads as well. didnt upsell anything, just a friendly, "hey, just a heads up, these things will need to be addressed sooner than later." i knew my battery was shot because its always corroded and my brake pads were worn bc they were starting to squeal. he gave me some pointers on my car and car care in general. I told him im driving up to Vegas tomorrow and he said to make sure next time, always bring the car in a few days beforehand just in case someone goofs on something so i wont be stranded in the desert. Lube Center is a great place run by honest people. Its so hard to come by an honest business nowadays but as long as this place is run the way it is, i know i can come back here with trust. I took my Audi in to get the air conditioning checked because it was blowing hot air. It went up on the rack to get checked. After about 20 minutes, the manager told me that one of the wires was unplugged. or something. He plugged it in and it's working perfectly again. There was no charge for the fix. Too bad I can't give this place more stars, cause if I could give this place 10 stars I would... Fantastic service. Super honest. I'll be back. read more

Check engine light was on, so I took it in. Took them about 30-45 minutes to check it out. Told me what the error code was, and that there isn't really anything wrong, and to come back if I have a problem again. They're honest folks. read more

Horrible experience here. We brought my mom's car in for service and they misdiagnosed the issue with the car and recommended a 100,000 mile tune up (for $2500) when the real issue was the catalytic converter. Obviously, the tune up didn't solve the problem, and after we kept bringing back the car for service (incurring 6 days of rental car costs), they finally said that they thought it was the catalytic converter. We then took the car to another car repair facility, and they fixed the catalytic converter, and the car runs great. If you're looking for an honest car repair shop, don't go here. read more

Wonderful! I had a very disappointing experience somewhere else recently, (starts with Jiffy, ends with Lube), so when I pulled in to the Lube Center I was relieved to be greeted by a genuinely nice technician who gave me a round about quote right away, but said to check with the manager to be sure. I told them I was on my lunch hour and they accomodated that with no problem, getting my car on the lift immediately with no wait. I went into the office and the manager gave me a quote right there that was true to what I actually paid, no gimmicks, no quick change or bait and switch and believe me, I super appreciate that! So I will come back. BTW, the waiting room is super comfortable and clean too. read more
