Been coming here for a long time. The guys who work on the cars don't talk much, but that's because they're working hard to get your car in and out without spilling a drop! Kinda like a call girl who hasn't met her quota when the end of the month is approaching. Although most of the time the guys are quiet, once they do talk it's always nice and friendly service. GO HERE TO GET YOUR OIL CHANGED. I used to go to Pep Boys where the people would lazily take as long as possible, only change your oil, take about an hour, and charge $20 MORE than Lube Masters. These guys do it super fast, they top off all of your fluids, fill your tires with air, and the price can't be beat. They're also the type of place that will offer to change your air filter, then show you the old one and the new one so you know that they actually changed it and aren't trying to scam you. First visit last Sunday morning... I pull up, leave keys in the truck, then look around for a price list or some forms to fill out. See nothing, so I sit down on one of the benches and open a book I'd brought along - I figured I'd get some reading done while they catch up & ask me to fill out forms. Three minutes later, I look up, and they're pulling my truck into their bay and just begin changing the oil. Wow... no bs, no questions, no trying to sell me anything extra, just getting down to brass tacks! I love it! I *am* detracting a star, for a couple reasons: 1) I don't like that there's no sign or price list, or at least someone to greet you. As a first timer I was lost. 2) They ended up filling my truck with 10-30, and I really prefer 5-30. (My prior oil change sticker is still on the windshield and is clearly marked 5-30) But it's not harmful to use 10-30, so I'm not going to nitpick too much. All in all, I paid $35.68 for a 15 minute oil change on an early Sunday morning. Would I go here again? Absolutely... Maybe next time, I'll flag them down to request 5-30 oil... otherwise, no complaints. read more

FANTASTIC. Yes, their oil change might be about $10 more than the one you might find at Jiffy Lube, but it is 100% worth it for speediness and honesty (let's face it... 99% of the time at Jiffy Lube, they turn that $19.99 oil change into $100 worth of shady "repairs"). The few times I've been so far they finished in less than 8 minutes, and only once did the mechanic suggest an air filter replacement (which was reasonable since I hadn't replaced mine in a couple years), and even then he definitely didn't pressure me into it, simply suggested. Their guys have never tried to make me feel like a naive, simple-minded gal like most lube places do. They get you in, get you out, and are really nice and honest. And free coffee! read more

Beware this place is a SCAM even with 5 star reviews. They will only change the engine oil or just top them off without removing the old/used engine oil filter from your car and also without replacing it with a brand new engine oil filter. We had a bad experience on this place. My mother and I brought our car to this place for an oil and filter change because I don't have the time to do it. When we get there, I parked the car where the stop sign is located. I was approach with one of crew and asked me "Do you want an oil change?" and I replied him that I need an "Oil and Filter change". That same person brought my car inside the bay and the pitman "JC" was already under bay. We're the only car being service at that time so I can see the pitman what exactly his doing under my car because was standing about 20 feet behind my car. The crew proceeded to do the service without even asking me what year is my car and what type of engine oil I wanted them to use to fill my engine. This is really kind of odd and it's a big red flag because all of the places that we went to for a basic service like this they'll usually ask these basic questions but not on this place. Based on the year, model and engine type, you'll be able to tell you what Type of Engine Oil is suitable for your car (i,e, 5w30, 10w30, 0w20 and conventional oil or full synthetic oil) and also the specific Part Number for the Engine Oil Filters that fitaand suitable for your car. In less than 5 minutes they're able to complete whole process of oil & filter change. The pitman "JC" came up from the under bay. I asked him politely if they're done and also asked if the engine oil filter has been removed and changed. He did not answered my question with yes or no but instead he becomes furious, angry and very defensive about it, just like a guilty person would say. He told me "why are you accusing me of not changing the oil filter even though you didn't see me do it?" I'm just a customer who has the right to ask questions and just to make sure that the services I requested for them to do is being done correctly. As a paying customer I deserve to have a correct response. The truth is I've seen everything what he was doing under my car. I seen him removed the nut from the oil pan and the old engine oil start pouring out from the oil pan to the used oil reservoir. But I did not see him removed the installed old/used oil filter of my car and I did not see him had a brand new box of oil filter in his hands. I know how hard it is to remove the installed oil filter on my car because I was the last one person who did the oil and filter change my car Nissan Sentra. I made sure that the oil filter is very tight enough that no one will be able remove it by hand alone without a help of an Oil Filter Wrench Tool. I asked the pitman "JC" to show me the old oil filter but he had the guts to tell me with an irritated and angry voice that "he can show it me if I pay him for $5.00 and my mother replied with yes. He turned around and went to the office angrily and slammed the door behind him. I told the other crew that we're going to pay the service they've done but we're just making sure that it was done right, with integrity and honesty. "JC" went back down under bay and showed me an old/used oil filter and just to make believe it was the used/old engine that got remove from my car. I just said ok because I don't want to argue with this person "JC" anymore. I just wanted for us to pay and get out from this place and would never come back to this place. Just be aware and make sure that what you're requesting services for is being done correctly especially for those people who does not have any experience doing your own engine oil and filter change of your own car. Please don't get scam and be fooled by this people or else you'll ended up with an engine trouble in the future. read more

Depending on the day and time you go, you may encounter a line of cars (Fridays, weekends, and after work seem to be the busiest times). Had to post an update - I don't drive a lot but my car is old and eats oil, so when I brought it in and didn't need a full oil change, the guys topped me off & filled my tires without charge - he said "we don't want to sell you anything you don't need." Great service, and really nice guys. Super fast. Coffee is fresh. A few tips: . If you are coming down the Colorado offramp from the 2 North, take a right on Colorado, then an immediate left on El Verano. Entrance is just on the left on El Verano. . If you have a German car or any car that is less common, CALL AHEAD to ask them if they have your specific oil filter in stock. They will respond really quickly and it will save you a lot of hassle . Remember that synthetic oil is MUCH MORE EXPENSIVE that regular oil. This is the same as any lube place. Mobil 1 will cost you north of $9 per quart, and will make your oil change much more expensive. It will still be much cheaper than having this done at the dealer, but your oil change will likely be north of $100, instead of the $40 or so they advertise on their sign. Of course, they will tell you all of this in advance. . They carry Mobil 1 5W-30 in stock as their synthetic oil. Call ahead if you need or want something else! Overall, however, great service and good prices. read more

Overall pleased with this place. My girlfriend brought her Toyota here who use the cartridge oil filters. They previously over tightened the piece, but we took it back here after not being able to get it off. They were understanding and took care of the situation free of charge with the new filter I bought after market. They offer many varieties of synthetic and conventional oil changes with a short wait. Needed to get my oil changed for awhile now and found this place near my house. I read the other yelp reviews so I went with high hopes and was met with excellence. The parking lot is streamlined for bringing cars in for their "Lube Service" which includes a lot more than just oil if your car needs it. I didn't have to say anything; just gave them my car and sat nearby for about 12 minutes. They were pretty busy for a Friday morning and the only time I was approached by another representative was when they were giving me the bill. No hassle, no sales pitch, just service. i think to give 5 stars you have to really know that the service was honest and good. I don't give them out easily, they are earned the old fashioned way. So, i took my truck in for repairs. All i can say is they totally took care of me. We had a few setbacks, as most older cars do, but they did not charge me for the extra work as THEY felt they have a code to live by, which seems to be honesty and integrity. They felt they were merely fixing what was the original problem on their end even though the scope expanded. In this case it was a godsend to not be in a position where another repair shop might have added hours of labor and parts and $$$ and it wouldn't be out of line in some ways to charge additional labor, but they did not in this case. This was a special situation that developed and they took care of it and me in the process. Their goal was to honor the original intent to fix a particular problem with my truck and they did so very very well. Not to mention I have a one year warranty for this part/potential problem. I highly recommend them, from the simple oil changes to making an appointment to bring your car into their shop. Its truly an older style of business that values the customer. They go about it the right way. When i have truck problems in the future i will go there first. And of course i go there for the oil changes. read more

I was headed to Burbank and needed an oil change. Looked on yelp to see if there were any good places that didn't try and upsell you on stuff you don't need, have a habit of forgetting to tighten things, or cut corners. Lube Masters topped the list. On the way, good price, great reputation and the independent shop i like to support. When I arrived they told me to enjoy some coffee, tea or hot chocolate in the waiting are. I made myself some hot chocolate, drank it down pretty quick and no sooner after did he tell me my car was done. Very fast, convenient, friendly. I'll be going there for all my oil changes. Came here based on other Yelp reviews. The place was not what I expected...it was basically a stand next to the freeway! There is a small shack where the office is, and there is a awning/tent that you drive your car under to be serviced. That being said, the service was very quick and the staff was super friendly. The main guy (Ed?) even gave me tips on how to pimp out my car (racing stripes, anyone?). I came on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon and there was one car before me, so the wait was about 10 or 15 minutes. It was much cheaper than the dealership and I will come here again. read more

This place is awesome! I worked at the Eagle Rock plaza many moons ago and took my first car ('86 Nissan 300z-she was a beast) to get an oil change. I remember this place being competitive priced and being staffed by extremely helpful guys! Cut to yesterday, where I brought my '94 Nissan Quest in. I saw some of the same smiling faces (which shows me longevity in the company). There were 3 cars ahead of me and the entire process (waiting and all) only took about 40 minutes. While there were multiple people working on my car, Ed is the person that stands out the most (not to take away from the other guys, they were just as great!). Ed was SUPER friendly and honest (and handsome haha). He didnt charge me for a new air filter and informed me that the filter I had did not need to be replaced for 2-3 more oil changes. I know it was only like a $2 savings, but the fact that he was honest and didnt just take my $2 really says a lot about the type of person he is and the business he runs.
