Pulled up to get an inspection. The guy told me to roll my windows up. My windows don't work. He thought my tent was illegal and refused service. Asked to speak with the manager and he literally told me to get off the property. I have been getting my inspection with them for 4 years with the same car and never had a problem. This is the first time I've dealt with this guy and he was awful. They need to be aware. He is chasing away business and definitely referred customers. read more

I took my old GMC truck to have the oil changed and transmission fluid changed. Everyone was very professional and welcomed me and they just went about their business tending to my truck. Don gave the undercarriage a careful scrutiny. He pointed out a problem where the drag link on the steering was rubbing on the oil pan. I thanked him for this because if the pan developed a hole I'd lose my oil then the motor would be next to go. Thank you Don! You guys are all great! read more

I went to this place after all the great reviews here on Yelp. I needed state inspection to be done and since I'm new to the states, the process was new to me. When I arrived at the garage I pulled right in to a free spot and once I got out of the car, there were already two people below the car and two waiting in front of it waiting for me to open the hood. I then had to explain that I wasn't looking for oil change so they showed me where I have to go. Instead of me driving the car, they took the car for me to the other side of the area. The guys were really quick and super helpful. At the state inspection station, the person working over there was quick and friendly as well. He even explained me what he was doing at each step since I was curious. Highly recommend this place! read more

Your oil change will still take only 5-10 minutes, but you'll have to wait 45 minutes to get through the slog of other people who arrive at the same time you do. Still friendly service. When I inquired about the issue with an auto repair business on Ben White, I was told the issue required the replacement of a part that would cost $600. So glad to have found this place! I dropped by for an inspection around noon on a weekday and was seen right away. I was not sure if my car would pass because of a repair I had been putting off. Sure enough- it was not going to! But the staff was kind enough to double and triple check before letting me know and advising me not to run the official inspection, and showing me exactly which repair was causing the failure. I normally go to Walmart Automotive to get my oil changed. Since they were closed due to the Coronavirus, I saw Pit Stop was close by. I didn't ask for or expect anything special other than an oil and filter change. Well, after they were finished they mentioned they also put some zip ties to hold up my bumper which hangs down. I was in the process of saving for a new car, but will now have to wait til after the Pandemic is over. So it was nice they added that little touch. Desperately needed an oil change and didn't have time to wait 2 hours for it to be done. I searched around and this place had great reviews. I arrived at 8:30 on a Thursday morning and was out at 8:40 plus the oil life had been reset on my computer. A full synthetic oil change for my suv was about $80 but it was well worth it: fast turn around, great customer service, and they use great products (my dad is a fan of castrol and that's what they use). I just got an oil change there and I showed the pics and it looks like they forgot to replace the gasket. It never leaked before. So there's going to be oil going everywhere through the night tonight because they're closed already. Yes, I touched the spill with my fingers and for sure it is oil. These guys are seriously the best. I get my oil changed with them and inspections and they're always professional, courteous and speedy. Today though put them over the top for best shop ever. I had some rattling under my car and asked if they could take a look at it. I described the issue to one of the men and he said it sounded like I might need something welded, which they couldn't do there, but they'd look to make sure. They found the problem immediately, were able to fix it in minutes and when I asked how much it would be, they waved me away. Did a walk-in yesterday as step 1 of getting my out of state vehicle registered in Texas. There were 2 cars in front of me but only took about 20 minutes for my car to be up (perfect time for me to finish filling out my Title and License application). The process was quick, the service was great! As the mechanic finished up with my car, he asked if I was getting my car Titled for Texas--when I said yes, he told me about a title place up the road that was usually faster than going to the County Tax Office. I went in for an inspection and my windows rolled up and down just fine when I went in. As I was was leaving I tried to roll my window back up and it wouldn't. Two technicians tried to help me get it back up and a plastic piece snapped and fell out of my door. They tried to say there was no way it could've fallen out, but I saw it and heard and I have the piece. I spoke to the owner and he blamed it on my car being older and said he heard it wasn't working properly when I was in the previous day for an oil change, which simply isn't true. All I asked was that they take responsibility for breaking the piece inside the door, but the owner refused to help in any way but offered a free oil change but I would not trust them to touch my car ever again. read more
