We came here for dinner and got different dishes. Overall the service was ok, we didn't really get checked on a lot but our water was always filled so that was a huge plus. Our food came out incredibly fast, I think it was only 5 mins after we ordered. We got the pesto, Caesar salad and spaghetti. The pesto was ok, I did like the pasta being aldente. However I felt like the sauce was just ok. The same for the spaghetti being ok. I asked about the pasta in the cheese wheel and was first told it was 65 then another server came by and said 85 and it was not available. Not sure if it was not available ever or just for the night we came. The best food item was the Caesar salad , not fishy and had a great amount of Parmesan cheese. I did wish they had fresh grated Parmesan for the pastas, I did not ask so not sure if that was an option. I also got the prima dona cocktail and it was really good. Not overly strong and had a good balance. The bartenders were great with this drink. Overall I probably would like to try another Italian restaurant before I go back. Came here for a work event and we were absolutely blown away by everything. We had a large group and were seated right on time of our reservation. The ambiance is casual, dim lighting and table, booth seating is available. Our server was very attentive and sweet All of the food we got here tasted amazing! There was not one thing I tried that I didn't enjoy. The house made focaccia was delightful, so soft and warm and seasoned beautifully. All the meat we ordered was cooked to perfection and melted in your mouth. The calamari was unlike anything I tasted before, it was more than enough to share with the table and paired with beautiful cocktail dip. Even their gelato was a home run, soft, sweet, I'm usually not a fan of gelato but I couldn't resist this one. Every time I'm in town for business, this is becoming one of my stops. Really great food, at a great price, with awesome and attentive staff, and a great vibe to round that up. The tuna tartare is always a great start for me. The short rib lasagna is out of this world and a big portion of you are replay hungry. The new Mafaldine Vodka is also delicious. Shout to Nick and Ashton behind the bar. I'm here between 2 to 3 times a year, and they always remember me. In Las Vegas, with so many people, that is extremely rear this days. We came here during our last Vegas trip around July/August. Boyfriend wanted to try their Pepperoni Pizza and Pepperoni Thick Cut Pizza. Sadly, they were out of the deep dish for the day, so we weren't able to try it this time. Anyways, onto the flavor - the star of this review. At $12 a slice, this better be good right? Right! It was tasty and cheesy in all the right places. We did buy from their pizza slice counter and didn't dine in at the restaurant, but the grab and go experience in Vegas in and of itself was enjoyable. We were a bit disappointed since we went around 7pm. Although, I did recently discover they have a buy ahead option on their website. I have eaten here twice but last night we ordered perfectly! The Caesar salad has to be on of the best I have ever had and that is saying a lot. I want another one right now as I am writing this (the day after). We ordered the margarita pizza but added olives, sausages and onions and think they should name that pizza after me. The crust is light and the pizza is delish. We shared the chicken parm and that was fabulous. Prosecco is excellent! I even received a bday gelato with a candle and the gelato was so good. Creamy but not too sweet. Portions are huge and last night we had the best server. Super attentive and they were busy for a Thursday night. The restaurant is pretty and has great lighting. I went ahead and ate at the bar since I was by myself. Really nice restaurant inside the MGM grand central district. It also has a order by the sliced pizza attached to one end that's just a walk up that look good. The bartender Mark was really very friendly and took care of me for my food and drink orders. I just got a Coke to drink and he kept it filled all evening. I got the chicken Parmesan aside of spaghetti and a Caesar salad. All of the food was enormous. The Caesar salad was really good. Tons of dressing on it. Lots of lettuce big fresh croutons. The chicken Parm was perfect. The sauce was not too sweet very full flavored not too much cheese to cover the chicken and the crispy. Chicken was so moist and good. The perfect combination. Add to that a side of spaghetti and it truly made for the perfect Italian meal. Price was high, about $100 for all of it with tip. Food: fantastic. We ordered a fudgeddaboudit pizza and a burrata and tomato salad. The pizza was slightly salty from the prosciutto and creamy from the truffle cream and bright from the lemon oil. The salad was herby from the fried basil and creamy from the burrata and the bit of the sweet marinara underneath complemented the juiciness of the tomatoes . Everything was scrumptious. Service: my only riff was with the service. I wasn't sure of the guy that was clearing the extra plates was our server because he didn't even ask us for our order. Turns out he was. But I had to flag him down to put our order in later. He didn't even try to engage or at least smile. I know it was towards the end of the night but at least a "how was everything?" Wow, not so good... I was hoping for something at least better than Olive Garden but this is NOT that. Seriously, how often do you leave an Italian restaurant hungry? I had the carbonara, very salty, very small portion and the pasta itself was rubber. The little bit of panchetta there was was mostly chewy fat almost like bad bacon bits. No bread. Very overpriced. I got the shortrib lasagna pinwheels, caesar salad, a bottle of wine, and a slice of chocolate cake and the bill was like a whopping $180 plus tip took it over $200. This is absurd for a mediocre Italian spot but you get ripped off due to being inside the MGM. The shortrib lasagna was very good but its over $40 and isn't super substantial for that price. Meat is very tender, sauce is pretty good, nice garlic background to it. For the price there should have been more than two pinwheels. Caesar salad was simple yet amazing in terms of freshness and dressing taste. But it is spendy at $20+ for just lettuce, croutons, and dressing. Wine is horribly overpriced given the price point of most of their dishes which are $15-$40 primarily. Who is spending $150-$300+ and some even higher for a small size bottle? I tried two of their cheapest Italian wines and neither are worthy of the $56 to $80 price range. They taste like the $10 Italian wines from Trader Joes so MGM is again really ripping people off here. The wine should be priced to match the price point of your food menu. Overall I would come back to potentially try new foods here but Would avoid the wine as it's severely inflated and the quality and taste dont match the pricing. read more

Had dinner here at 9:30 after seeing a show at MGM Grand. They asked for a phone number, then immediately seated us. Super annoying that they needed a phone number... I have since received several spam messages asking about the meal :( Waiter was well versed in the menu and very helpful. I debated coming back just for this item the next morning!!! About this time wait staff started turning off the candle lights on the unoccupied tables :( ... This MASSIVELY destroyed the ambiance. This is a huge gripe of mine. Restaurants doing closing activities in the middle of serving guests, especially when paying couple hundred dollars to eat someplace!! About this time we received our main course and sides. The chicken parm was huge, flat and very crispy. I was not able to eat it. The lasagna pinwheel was awesome! Highly recommend it. The asparagus was ok. Cooked to hot, not cooked thru. Unfortunately this is a common trend with vegetables. Again I was unable to eat this dish. :( . The roasted potatoes were good. They had a sweet glaze on them that could be overbearing. They are also roasted with little pieces of onions and red bell peppers. Wifey was unable to eat these because of the bell peppers. Had we known this dish included that, we would not have ordered them. The red sauce was kinda bland. Because of that, Would not recommend getting basic pasta at these prices. The ambience was cool since it was not crowded, the light was low, the music was great! We stopped in for a later dinner, at first glance the restaurants ambiance is very intimate, nice music playing throughout. The ladies at the front were nice and brought us to our seat without issue. The waiter was incredibly rude. My friend has a few dietary restrictions and I myself had a request of an accommodation. The waiter made it seem as though he was accommodating , and then when he returned with the food, he gave me something without asking if it was an okay accommodation. He then looked at my friend and said "you're not going to die if you eat that, are you?" I found this to be disrespectful. During our recent stay in Las Vegas, we chose the Tao Group Hospitality's nearly one-and-a-half-year-old Italian-American restaurant, Luchini, as one of our second-to-last dining experiences. We had been eating Chinese cuisine to celebrate my husband's birthday, and the Lunar New Year, so we thought we'd choose another cuisine with noodles or pasta, symbolizing longevity in Asian cultures. A couple of years ago, we saw the June 2023 opening of Luchini, but during our 2023 visits, we had already booked ourselves at other restaurants, but we kept Luchini in mind. This time, I made reservations for an early dinner through the OpenTable dining reservations app, wandered from the MGM Grand Resort's Casino, and immediately found the restaurant. We were greeted by two cheerful and smartly dressed hostesses who asked us to wait on the side since we arrived about 25 minutes before our reservation. My husband said he'd play on a slot machine around the corner while waiting and that I'd call him when we'd be seated. I laughed at him and wished him luck while confirming that I'd text him the table location after the hostess seated me. I texted my husband when I got seated, ordered a drink from our server, Frank, and waited for his reply. Fifteen minutes passed, and he didn't answer, but I got anxious and continued to sip on my Negroni. About half an hour later, my husband showed up, saying he couldn't leave the machine, and showed me his birthday win on an IRS Tax Form. Well, I said that the win called for a celebratory drink. Shh, shh, shh! He guessed I already had a Negroni even though Frank had removed the "evidence." Still, I ordered another anyway, thinking I'd not want to fill up on bread or appetizers while celebrating my husband's triumph. Because we chose to start dinner around 6 PM, only two other couples were with us in the main dining room, but many were seated outside the restaurant for Happy Hour. Our server, Frank, welcomed us like we were about to have a "Sunday dinner at Nonna's." Frank was efficient, had a dry sense of humor, and was attentive. He also coursed our meal so that we didn't feel like we were eating at a typical Chinese restaurant where everything comes out to the table at once. We ordered the Fritto Misto, a humongous plate of perfect light battered and fried zucchini strips, calamari, and shrimp. The golden fried strips were moist and tender without tasting greasy. It was so good that we ate almost everything on the plate and started to understand the upcoming food portion sizes. We kept the nearly empty plate of Fritto Misto when Frank returned to ask if we were ready for our Heirloom Tomato Salad with Burrata, AKA Caprese Salad. Of course, we stopped eating the Fritto Misto while sharing the tasty, beautiful, colorful salad. The salad included a whole ball of soft, creamy, and mild burrata cheese. The Caprese salad represented il tricolore italiano with bold green, white, and red. We were already getting full from the appetizer and salad but pushed forward with our pasta entrees (Calabrian Reginette Alfredo and Cavatelli Bolognese). Frank warned me about the spice level of the Calabrian Reginette Alfredo pasta dish. Still, I boldly said it should be okay since the creamy Alfredo sauce would tame the Calabrian chilies and not detract from the rock shrimp in this pasta. He smiled and agreed, but he warned me. My husband considered getting the meaty (made with veal) Cavatelli Bolognese. We looked forward to and enjoyed the housemade pasta. The pasta was cooked al dente in each dish yet captured the sauce in its nooks and crannies, making each mouthful a luxurious bite. I was about to scream "Basta così, grazie" since we were trying to be polite or not wasteful to the chef, but seriously, the generous and delicious portions in this Italian-American restaurant made us seem disrespectful. We could relax and enjoy our meal and dessert within two hours. By then, the restaurant filled with more hungry diners and the restaurant became more lively. read more

We love Chez Bippy and we've been wanting to try the restaurant. It did not disappoint! Food is solid, yummy Italian fare but full of flavor! We loved our cocktails the Sicilian Heatwave and Bronx Noir . My partner had the chicken parm which was crispy and had a great sauce. I had the cappellacci which is like ravioli but little "hats" with a side of sautéed spinach that was perfectly cooked and both well seasoned. OK.. I was little scared to try this place because of such mixed reviews. But I didn't feel like driving anywhere so I decided to give this place a try. Nice decor, staffs were very friendly and pretty busy for Tuesday night. Ordered caesar salad and fritto misto for starter. Caesar salad was pretty good, nothing out of the ordinary but the garlic crouton was pretty darn yummy. Light flaky crispy and garlicy.. Yum. Fritto misto.. Wow... The price seemed high but when it came to the table.. Wow.. It was huge... Calamari which could have been little bit more crispier on the batter but calamari was very tasty and tender. Also had 4 huge shrimps which was sooo juicy and tender also. Plate also had fried peppers and hidden surprise of sliced lemon, which was pretty dang amazing.. Then all that is topped off with shredded zucchini which was sooo freaking yummy. The portion was big enough to share with 4 people.. Because we couldn't finish . Now for main dish, I was eying on that 1.5 lbs lobster pasta dish but price was steep. But I said meh I will give it a try. Wife was going to order different pasta dish and waiter Michael said no I would not recommend it because you won't finish the first dish.. I said I eat a lot and he said many tried and many failed so we just ordered one dish. Oh man was it huge.. It was way bigger than what I saw on the pictures... Scallop was nice and tender, clams were also tasty, mussel.. Oh man. Last time I had mussel this fresh and melt in your mouth was in Naples Italy. Lobster was also very flavorful and cooked perfect. Calamari was also pretty tasty. Linguini was cooked perfect al dente but little bit less than what I've had in Italy which was fine. Over all the flavor was good, nice seafood flavor on the marinara sauce. Not so diablo spice but enough to taste the difference. Michael the waiter was so awesome.. He asked me out of random if we are celebrating birthday and I said belated birthday for me. We'll he surprised me with huge ice cream on the house. Ice cream was very yummy. I say it's cross between Gelato and ice cream. Not too sweet and creamy. Over all staff was amazing the waiter Michael was amazing and food was also awesome. I would definitely come back here again. The Bolognese is diabolical. I have been to LV a million times, but o was here for a convention this time so my time was limited to find new testaurants. There were also 30,000 attendees with me, so every where was overloaded with folks. But, I found Luchini's inside MGM and I was more than satisfied! The food is authentic, flavorful, and tantalizing. The food looked like some slop served at luby's drowning in grease or whatever the sauce is decomposing right at ur table. This place was at the back of MGM. The dining is a la cart and quite pricey for one place. I normally order spaghetti and meat sauce but thought I'd try something different. We made a reservation and was seated promptly. The waitress was polite and went over menu items. Most of the pasta dishes are JUST pasta, no meat. She did say the pasta is made fresh there so that's good but I didn't feel like the price justified the food. We received the little crunchy pretzels with sauce and they were okay. We also ordered the friend calamari appetizer and that was delicious, loved that and it was plenty for 3 people. My sister ordered the short rib meat dish and she liked it and I ordered a pasta dish. The chicken parm does not come with any pasta but you can add a SIDE of spaghetti for $16. The food wasn't bad it just wasn't worth the price, TO ME. While the food itself was good, the service we experienced was extremely disappointing and unacceptable. We were seated at 9:00 PM and repeatedly asked our server, Nikolas, if we could place a food order. Despite asking three separate times, he walked away to assist other tables instead. Our order was not taken until 10:00 PM, and the first drink did not arrive until then either. When dessert was finally served, the gelato was oddly chunky and unpleasant in texture. We requested to speak with a manager, but after waiting 30 minutes, we were told he was in a meeting at 11:00 PM at night. Another man eventually appeared but did not introduce himself or attempt to resolve the situation--he simply left after hearing our concerns. To make matters worse, our server returned and argued with us at the table. A grown man debating with a table full of women about our experience was both unprofessional and disrespectful. Instead of feeling valued as guests, we felt overlooked and dismissed, and even made to feel as if we were being dishonest. We stayed at this hotel for three nights and had wonderful service everywhere else, which makes this experience stand out all the more negatively. This level of service is unacceptable for a restaurant within an otherwise reputable establishment. And to close nikolas came to the table with 10 full checks with everyone's meal on all 10 checks to be funny and handed us highlighters. read more
