A solid casual spot for ramen! We stopped in since we were going to H Mart, and were seated immediately. There's bar seating or a dining area in the back (with a cozy fireplace) that they'll deliver your order to. We love a small focused menu. Tried their tonkotsu with spice level 3, which is probably the most my wimpy palate can handle, and it was delicious! For only $12/bowl, there were more toppings than I expected. Now it wasn't the most complex broth or the bounciest noodles I've had (we ate a LOT of ramen while living in San Diego) but how can you beat $12?! And the service was top notch. We'll definitely be back!

Absolutely love it! I know this is not an authentic Japanese ramen place. Based on the food quality is great and the Service is fast. I really enjoyed. What also is great is the price is very reasonable. Definitely comfort food. Everyone seating around the bar style hang out place. You totally forgot that you are inside H mart.

We tried a new beef ramen with a spicy level of 2 stars. My husband thought it was very spicy. The broth was full of beef flavor and was very clean. It came with generous portions of corn, seaweed, bok choy, and mushrooms. The beef slices were good as well. I ordered a 4-star spicy level Tonkotsu ramen. I haven't tried 5 stars, but I think 4 stars is my favorite level. It was just spicy enough. It wasn't extremely spicy, but I enjoyed the flavor profile.

Lucky Cat was by far the most authentic and flavorful ramen I've ever had! I've had this saved to my list for awhile and finally made the drive over here and I will definitely be coming back a few times a month. The service was very friendly and quick, less than 2 minutes from ordering my ramen was brought to me piping hot. The complimentary chili oil had a really nice flavor that elevated the broth and all of the veggies were cooked to perfection. I was worried the Bok Choy would be too hard to bite into but it was perfect. I wasn't a huge fan of the soy sauce egg, it was a bit too salty, and the bamboo shoots aren't to my taste, but I would honestly make no changes to the Tonkatsu. Maybe an order of extra noodles and that's it! The service was quick, friendly, and the seating area was clean and quickly flowing with new people. I would definitely recommend this place, any time, any day.

Probably the best ramen deal around. For $12 got a hearty bowl of fixings, noodles and meat. The broth was pretty good as well. Really fun to dine in Hmart too to be able to go walk around after looking at cool treats. Only thing I'd mention is the meat slices are pretty thin but understandable for $12. Would definitely go again.

For the price this place is banger $12 for a bowl of decent ramen is a steal in today's prices. The ramen isn't the best but it hits the spot. The staff is friendly enough. Great lunch spot for sure. Only have bar style seating so not great for kids or big groups. And nice to hit the groceries after :)

4.5/5 After doing some grocery shopping, the smell of ramen caught our attention. Lucky Cat Ramen is located inside H-Mart with the friendliest and quick service and staff. The owner of the ramen place also owns the Thai food place next door as well! We were seated right away and I ordered the Beef Shoyu Ramen. The menu description said that the ramen would come with tender chunks beef and there was a picture on the wall that showed chunky beef. The ramen came out very quickly and I was caught off guard seeing that I had thin slices of beef instead. The shoyu broth was very light but flavorful and the ramen noodles had a good texture. For being $12, they give you a pretty good portion and include a whole ramen egg. The beef was a little dry and not what I was expecting, so I would not order the beef one again. The pork tonkatsu ramen was amazing though. I got to try some of my partner's and I would definitely come back for the tonkatsu broth. The broth was creamy and garlicky, the chasu was thin, but it was not dry at all.

This little mom-and-pop ramen right in front of HMart when you walk in might not look like much from the outside, but don't let that fool you--what they're serving up is nothing short of incredible. I ordered their spicy 3 star tonkotsu ramen, and wow. The broth was deep, tangy, bold, and full of that homemade flavor you can only get from a place that's been perfecting their recipe for years. The spice hits you fast and hard, so fair warning: if you're not great with heat, maybe ask them to go light. I like spicy food, and even for me, this was intense--but in a delicious, addictive kind of way. The noodles were springy and clearly made fresh, and the pork was unbelievably tender. The topping was fresh and thoughtfully placed, from the buttery soft egg to the crunchy bean sprouts and scallions. What really made this place shine was the price. Under $15 for a full, satisfying bowl that felt like it came straight from someone's home kitchen. Owner is a sweet lady. Support this little spot--you can taste the care in every bite. Just don't say I didn't warn you about the spice!

Saw Lucky Cat on Tik Tok so we had to check it out. We ordered beef double meat and tonkatsu ramen, and two orders of tempura shrimp. Within 5 minutes, the food came out steamy and hot. The broth flavor was good, noodle cooked well, and it was stocked with lots of meat and veggies. Ordering was quick and they were very helpful and pleasant. Lots of dining tables and someone to clean up.

A simple quick bowl of ramen is sometimes all you need when in a rush. We stopped by here to get a quick bite and were impressed by the quick and very friendly service provided. There's only spots to sit at the counter and a limited menu to order from. I tried the beef shoyu ramen as it sounded interesting to me. The ramen came out pretty quick. The ramen had a good texture and the broth was very flavorful. It wasn't your standard ramen, but a bit unique, in a good way. The price was also one of the most reasonable for a bowl of ramen.

The best Ramen I've ever had. Fresh, optional kale noodles with veggie broth. Chicken or beef are fresh and tofu optional. I like the owners, the food and there is a space for many people to sit beside the counter. Located in H mart to the right as you enter. read more

Food looked amazing! but unfortunately the busser lady kept rudely staring at me, I'm talking straight darts at me and talking in a different language and laughing at me the whole entire time I couldn't even believe it lol. I was completely hesitant to even eat my food because she kept staring at me waiting for me to eat it...wish the staff were friendly because the food looked delicious. read more

I have been looking for Ramen near me and found this spot. I wanted a go-to, that wasn't pretentious. This is all of that Words cannot express the ambiance as you enter the store, but pull up a stool. The ramen is great. You truly get what you pay for, and it is quality. This is an awesome find, located inside the H Mart in Tigard. Even though it was a hot day, I went on Yelp and found that Lucky Cat had a nearly perfect score on Yelp. An in-store restaurant with such good reviews? Sure, I'll check it out. There is a long L-shaped counter, and was greeted upon sitting myself. The ambiance is nice- it's not stuffy but is also clean, well lit and transparent (you can see the kitchen from the counter.) Service was awesome- the person helping was sweet, friendly and accommodating, especially since I am vegetarian and substitutions can be kind of a pain. My water glass was refilled constantly, and I was never left without anything. What surprised me was the prices- only $12 for a bowl of ramen? It's so hard to find places with under $15 bowls nowadays. Portions were very generous- there were plenty of noodles, an egg, vegetables and fried tofu which somehow stayed crispy while soaking in the broth. They do have both vegetable and meat based broths, which I greatly appreciated. I was starving and finished my bowl- but for people with smaller stomachs or a reduced appetite, you may end up having leftovers. The quality of everything was superb and fresh- the meal was satiating but wasn't overly greasy or oily. Especially on a hot day, it didn't weigh me down at all. I highly recommend this ramen place, and I will definitely be visiting again shortly. read more

First time visit! Very friendly host and chef in a small area. We had the beef shoyu and tonkatsu ramen. Beef is very tender and tasty. So is the pork. We briefly chated with the the chef and host team while they were quickly finishing their lunch. People just kept coming in around 2 pm on a Saturday afternoon. We will be back! read more

Been wanting to try this place and I happened to be in the area while doing my grocery shopping. The protein and noodle portion here is A LOT. Well worth the $12. Positively delicious ramen (their cook eggs are the BEST I have ever had, I usually order two extra)-- the best I have found in the area, wonderful people working there, and very reasonable prices. What is not to love?! Great flavor, customizable heat, and nice portion sizes! I had the tonkatsu ramen asked for the spicy level at a 4, it was wonderfully and deliciously spicy. Before writing reviews I always try to go a few times. My next time I tried it at a 1 and was able to taste more nuances in their broth. I enjoyed both times very much. They also have a GLUTEN FREE OPTION. Ask for the veggie broth ramen and GF noodles. Chicken is also gluten free, be sure to mention NO gluten as I believe (if I remember correctly) the other broths have soy sauce along with the other meats, and bamboo shoots? read more

This is our go-to for ramen. The owners are so nice and friendly. And the ramen is delicious. We've tried all of the broths and they're all great. My favorite is the Beef Shoyu; the beef is tender and the broth is flavorful. My bf's favorite is the Tonkotsu. The noodles and veggies are always perfect. I'm a guy, so no I didn't take a picture of my food It's was amazing and looked delicious! I've never had Asian style ramen like this before but spice level 2 was perfect and I'll definitely be coming back as the price for the food and tea was very reasonable ($12) I don't have experience with other noodle soup places but I love Thai coconut soup and this is now a close second. The servers were kinda and asked how it was, overall it was a great experience! read more

This is the best ramen place around! The menu is so simple - 4 different options, all $12 each. So far I have tried 3 out of 4 ramens and all have been amazing. One if my favorites in the Portland/Beaverton/Tigard area. Criminally underrated because its inside of a mart, but has the flavor and richness that I don't really taste out here in Oregon. The broth is hot noodles are perfectly cooked and spice doesn't overpower the richness and other flavors. Very good give it a 8.6/10. Recommend getting a spice level of 3 or 4 with the misi or tonkotsu Ramen read more

I was in good company eating an amazing bowl of ramen served beautifully by the Thai owner and culinary geniuses who have re-opened Lucky Cat. There is nothing like a hot bowl of noodles to dissolve pandemic year pains. Honestly, I almost don't want to post a review here and share this secret spot. This place just opened on Saturday 5/22 and it's really promising! It's located inside the H Mart building and they'll even allow you to order your ramen and save your seat while you shop! It's very convenient and very tasty! The staff was really nice and even the decorations are adorable! We tried the tonkostu ramen on saturday and tried their vegetarian ramen and miso ramen on sunday. All options were great! Very filling and legitimately delicious! Highly recommend! I wrote this same review on Google reviews just to help them out. These guys definitely deserve some support! read more

Love this place! Right in the entrance area of the H-Mart. Have been here close to 20 times now. Every time the food is wonderful and the service is friendly. Veggie ramen is so flavorful. So comforting. Prices are so reasonable. Our toddler asks to come here every week and she requests this place as a special meal on her birthday. Don't get discouraged if there is nowhere to sit. You can always order and eat it at the food court area. DD Thai next to it is under the same ownership and we have enjoyed it for years as well. read more

Second time visiting Lucky Cat. Just remember they aren't open on Monday! We live 3 1/2 hours away and look foreword to coming to H Mart just for this. the flavors are so amazing and everything is fresh and yummmmmy. We rave about it to everyone. It was crispy on the outside, light and fluffy on the inside, with a tender and chewy piece of octopus, topped with a sweet sauce and fish flakes. Yum!! For my main, I wanted to try one of their broth-less udons and chose one of the specials, the Mentaiko kama-tama Udon--house-made flat udon noodles tossed in and onion oil, bonito, and soy dashi sauce. The noodles are topped with Men-taiko (spicy Tarako caviar), soft egg, tobiko, tempura puffs, green onions, and nori. I also added ikura (as recommended). I've never had flat udon noodles or broth-less udon but I'm forever changed. The minimal broth allows the toppings to be the stars of the show, and here was no exception. The flavors were complex, but balanced, and the variety of textures kept me coming back for another bite. The soy dashi sauce was full of umami and a subtle spicy kick, the fish eggs added pops of saltiness, and the tempura puffs and green onions added some crunch and offset the richness from the other toppings.
