My husband and I stopped at this burger joint around 1;30 pm to have breakfast......now we and hundreds of others that work at Kaiser up the street.....may have to go somewhere else to eat from now on....and this is why....we ordered our food...the woman at the register was not people friendly.....I am sitting at our table waiting for our food...in the interim I'm watching the waitress clean the table and deal with all the leftovers on peoples dirty plates ..scraping the plate with her bare hands into the trash can...then I see her wipe her hands breifly with a dirty rag....she goes to make our toast....as she starts to bring us our toast....I stopped her...and said I have watched you man the dirty tables and the left over food into the trash can and you didn't wash your hands ....we don't want that....so please wash your hands and put on gloves or I'm going to advise the Health Dept......she said ....I'm sorry! Warning to all......Someone is going to get food poisioning there! FYI.....think twice.... Kaiser Employees....before you go there! None of the ladies.....servers wear gloves and they bus tables without washing their hands! I'm really conflicted. The staff is really nice and they have the best Chile Verde in town, but it's not the cleanest place that's for sure. I know it's meant to be a fast food neighborhood place where you can get greasy tacos and breakfast platters, but I have found a hair in my food on at least two separate occasions. Also, the menu is so large some of the less popular items aren't the freshest. You can tell by look and by taste. I still go there, but now I stick with pancakes/French toast or their classic Chile Verde. read more

We came here for the first time on Sunday. The girl at the speaker box was rude and incessantly repeated 'Anything else?' No common sense on promoting other menu items. The food was decent. I had the chilaquiles with scrambled eggs and the first few bites I bit into had eggshells. Worst feeling in your mouth ever. The rice and beans lacked salt but the chilaquiles had a good flavor and were spicy. My husband had the suicide burrito and he quipped that the food lacked any flavor or salt. I come to this spot with my dad pretty regularly and never again are we coming because i asked for refried beans with salsa ON THE SIDE. My dad and sister come here all the time and they took me here while i was visiting. They kept talking about breakfast burritos but i wasn't paying attention and was scouring the menu for something else. In the end I got the Mix Breakfast Burrito. It has beans, hash browns, salsa, cheese, egg, bacon AND sausage. The flour tortillas were soft and warm and everything inside meshed well. I became a huge fan after going a few times and started looking forward to breakfast when they would suggest lucky guys! The restaurant itself isn't in the best condition and for god's sake, if you have to go to the bathroom wait until you get home!!!! read more

Ordered the 6 foot burritos for a party. Three different meats; asada,chicken,carnitas. All three burritos were delicious and complimented by my guests. They came with fresh chips, jalapeños, marinated carrots, along with salsa. Salsa was too spicy for most guests but we will definitely order from there again. read more

I just left the restaurant and this place is just horrible. The attitude of this drive through lady is just intolerable. She was cold, abrupt and just didn't want to help. When it was time to pay, I asked for Jalapeños to go w/ my ordered Menudo and she replied, "Sorry, it's not ready and you should have asked for it at the time of the order." What! It was huge, Suicide Burrito, an awesome mix of ham, bacon, sausage, hashbrowns, cheese, beans, & green chili. Perfect amount of spice wrapped around a soft tortilla. It was huge after man handling it, had to chill to let it settle. Will be returning hungry and warned up don't want to get hurt . Only thing lacking was it looked run down and needs a few upgrades, especially restroom. 5 stars on food!! read more

I've always found this place to be something more than your typical "hamburger joint" based on their food selection and the quality of it. The food is cooked with great detail and not only do they offer your traditional American food (burgers, sandwiches, wraps...) they also offer a great selection of Mexican food. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner and all are delicious. Portions are large and worth the price. I've ordered a number of plates here and can say it's worth the taste. This place is around the corner from KP where I work a couple mornings during the week and on my way home, I have come to pick up a quick bite. The service is very nice and the food is pretty good for a fast food independent burger joint. The only thing is that the inside is a bit dingy so I prefer to take the food to go. They have pretty damn good zucchini fries and a chicken salad. I love that they have a combo with zucchini, onion rings and fries. My three fried faves... I know, I'm never going to lose weight... sigh... but maybe I could start yelping places to work out... Went here for the first time and my fries were cooked in a MICROWAVE. We shared a bacon cheese burger with fries and a coke. The burger is the usual burger from a restaurant like this, it was good. We usually love the fries from mom and pop restaurants cause they are cooked in lard. But these fries were MICROWAVED. Really, what kind of restaurant uses microwaves to cook french fries?! Let me start by saying that I wish I could give it 3.5 stars. If you need breakfast early in the morning, like at 7 when they open try to wait until 7:05. Every time I have gone there at 7 I just end up sitting there because I guess it doesn't tell them somebody is there. I am not a morning person so I just end up driving off. Now to the food! I pretty much always get a chorizo breakfast burrito without the salsa. I love the burrito, it's soo good and a great way to start by day if I'm already up and out of the house by 7. However, the salsa is boring and tastes like pepper water or something. I just cannot deal with it in my burrito. I have also gotten the french toast, which is good, but who could mess up french toast? I also once got nachos from there and I would just stick with breakfast, that was not a pleasant experience. Horrible first visit to this restaurant. I have passed this place for years and decided to stop by last Thursday. Cashier waa having a bad night perhaps, did not really welcome us at all. Orders as part of my meal the "homemade" onion rings and fried zuchini which were limp and old tasting. I came here on Wednesday at 840pm and the woman behind the counter looked very mad. I ordered the chicken box (It has chicken strips, fries, and zucchini fries with a weird biscuit) and she blurted out "Ok but you have to take it to go" I said what? Why, what time do you close?" She looks at the clock and says "uh... uh in 20 minutes" I said fine. I paid, and walked out. They have outdoor seating, but I wanted to leave. I start eating the fries, then the zucchini fries, and they don't have any salt. Flavorless! My biggest gripe was the terrible customer service by the woman, she was practically kicking us out.
