This is probably the best pho place I've been to, after having lived and tried many pho places in the SF bay area, Socal, and Salt Lake City. The ingredients are very fresh, the price reasonable considering Seattle prices, and portions are good. The lady at the front is very kind too. The broth is very full in flavor with a bit of a different flavor compared to other places I've been. It's uniqueness is honestly one of the factors that makes it so good though. They also have really good boba and thai tea/vietnamese coffee. I ordered #5 and the broth is too salty, pho broth suppose to be clear but this place has dark broth, it tasted like beef broth mixed with mushroom, with a bunch of salt in it. Then the meats are too well done and small portion and I only got one tiny tendon. ABOVE ALL....the noodle is mushy, it is like been soak in the warm (not hot) broth for hours. Finally the Vietnamese coffee was too sweet, and not strong enough. I would never come back. I am not sure what the owner think when the opening hour is at noon while normal restaurant is normally open at 11am. This is Seattle where people go to work early, lunch early (between 11-12), we had a queue outside and everyone complained about the hour...why noon? it does not seems like this place wants our business...oh well, there are so many places in Seattle why go to this place with salty broth, little meat, and mushy noodle? read more

As some of the reviews have said, the pho is not great because the broth is too savory. In my opinion and experience, pho broth should be pretty neutral. The flavor was really distracting. I have eaten at Luckys 50+ times. There are two reasons I go there and not any of the other pho places around. 1) The food is excellent. Every meal that I have had at Luckys has been delicious, filling, and cost-effective. I have tried most of their phos and bahn mis, but these days I get the chicken pho with veggie broth every time. The noodles are always the perfect texture, the broth is always the perfect flavor, and the chicken is always cooked to perfection. 2) The owners and staff are incredibly friendly. The owners are a husband and wife that cook and work the register respectively. After my first few times, they both knew who I was and started welcoming me every time I came in. They're always incredibly happy and upbeat. The rest of the staff follows suit, and they are all great people. Very crumbly bread, the only negative is that it occasionally tastes like it's either slightly stale or has been frozen. Spring rolls are delicious, as is the peanut sauce I dowse them in. I ordered the pork bahn mi sandwich and there was a great deal of pork on the sandwich they did not skimp. There was also lots of flavor meaning sauce and seasoning. Sure, it's a little bit more than your bahn mi sandwich in places in Little Saigon over by Jackson Street. And both are worth it, but this sandwich is very special and I highly recommend it.
