    Breakfast Tagine
    Preet P.

We had a breakfast reservation at Lucy Restaurant and Bar. The restaurant is beautiful with a great ambience, and we chose to sit outside. We ordered the Breakfast Tagine and the Avocado Toast. The Avocado Toast was excellent, 10 out of 10. However, the Breakfast Tagine didn't work well for our palate. The combination of spices, chickpeas, ginger raita, and wild mushrooms just didn't come together for us. Customer service was great. We'll definitely be back, but we'll skip the Breakfast Tagine next time.

Really enjoyed our time at Lucy. We stopped in for a quick breakfast on our way out wine tasting. I had the Morning Sun drink, Tagine and side of fruit and all of it was wonderful. Service was good, a bit slow but I think that fits the vibe of this place. The ambiance is truly where this place shines. It's the perfect peaceful spot for a relaxed breakfast. The surrounding views are gorgeous and you feel completely serene here. Next time I am in Napa or staying at the Bardessono Lucy will be my staple breakfast spot.

Dessert: 4/5 Service: 4/5 Ambiance: 4/5 Portion to Price: 3/5 Overall: We came for the dessert after strolling around Napa. The extended review... Dessert: 4/5 - We decided to share a few desserts and they were all delicious. My favorite was the chocolate cake which was very moist and rich. Service: 4/5 - Friendly service. Ambiance: 4/5 - We actually sat around the bar area and because it was later at night we were the only ones there while others were in the main dining room. Portion to Price: 3/5 - A little on the pricy side but I mean we are talking about Yountville.

The overall ambience of Lucy is very very nice. It feels very luxurious and the outdoor seating is nice as well! It did not seem that busy but they told us food would take 20-25 minutes to come out but in the mean time we got a plate of bread, butter and olive oil. I got the weekly special with scallops and pork belly and it was very delicious! I tried my friends steak and brisket dish and both were cooked very well. Overall, the food was good but not amazing, however the ambience and service were very nice

Lucy is cute and convenient and it's nestled in the beautiful Bardessono hotel in Yountville. I wasn't hungry so I had a fancy $12 juice. Bf had a full on breakfast and said it was reasonably priced and good enough. I love the cool sculptures and fountains and think it's definitely worth checking out!!

If you're not staying at Bardessono, I definitely wouldn't go out of my way to come here. We came here for brunch mainly for the "zen vibes" that were highlighted from other reviews. At first, the receptionist had told us that their outdoor patio was full but after asking if we were staying with them, he said he'd go and double-check. That might have been the first yellow flag; he then escorted us to our table which was tucked right alongside the back amongst a fully packed patio, indeed. It literally took over 20 minutes for us to be able to get the server's initial attention. It almost seemed like they were trying to ignore us for some reason. When we were finally able to do so, he was visibly flustered and said that he wasn't ready to take our order, and said he'd come back. When he came back, he apologized and said there was a mix-up, which is why he never got to us. While I appreciated his apology, the vibes were already ruined. The classic breakfast is exactly how it sounds: I got 2 sunny-side up eggs, potatoes, bacon, and sourdough toast. The toast didn't come with butter as it normally does, and I did have to use a lot of salt, pepper, and cholula to dress everything up. It wasn't the worst thing in the world though, it was decent/standard. We also got an iced latte which was pretty good. By the time we finished eating, we were the last table there. Then, is the only time I felt the "zen atmosphere." Overall, the slow and unenthusiastic service does not encourage me to come back even if I was staying at Bardessono. There's definitely better brunch places to check out in Yountville for a more pleasant experience.

Zen, upscale restaurant with a surprisingly affordable menu. Sitting outside for brunch is the move to make -- bubbling fountains, a gentle breeze, and plenty of shade makes it feel like dining in a spa. The brunch menu had some solid choices, and while everything was GOOD, it all tasted like it was trying really hard to be unoffensive. Maybe that's the vision -- providing food that settles well in the stomach so as not to disturb a recent detox. Service was a bit slower than expected, but nothing egregious. I wasn't too bothered as it gave us more time to enjoy the relaxing atmosphere, but this is probably not the place to go if you want something fast. Skip the pastry basket and breakfast hash, opt instead for the omelet of the day (substitutions allowed) or the chilaquiles. Yum!

Amazing ambience, the walk up to the restaurant felt grand and we were able to have valet park us. It was a birthday lunch and they gave us a special little treat which we really appreciated! Would highly recommend this restaurant for a fancy occasion

No reservation on a Wednesday morning no problem. I came directly after my hot air balloon ride, the grounds were very nice. I parked on the street versus pain for valet. The service was great. I was seated by a window. The only reason I did not give a five star is because my eggs were over hard and yes, I could've sent them back, but I was in a rush to leave. Everything else was delicious. The bloody Maria was phenomenal. I highly recommend.

We dined here recently and very much enjoyed the lovely atmosphere on their outdoor patio. The soft chuckling of the fountains is particularly pleasant. Service is fast and friendly, and the food presentation is impressive. My friend ordered the short ribs, and reported that the dish was good, but not great. I ordered the chicken, which came with fingerling potatoes. The potatoes were AOK, but the chicken was well cooked and quite nicely seasoned. We both enjoyed our lunch, probably more because of the atmosphere than the quality of the food, but the overall effect was quite pleasant. I won't hesitate to either return or to recommend this place :-)

Great breakfast and service!!! So glad we popped in here after our hot air balloo ride. I loved the tagine breakfast dish, and he enjoyed the benedict.

Food was delicious. Restaurant was oddly empty, which I felt really bad for; imagine it's hard off season in a hotel. Service was slower than molasses- maybe because we were the only ones there? Or they thought we wanted time as a group? It was a 3 hour dinner Nothing bad to say but not sure if search out the restaurant to go back. And we live in town. I had expected more because Bardessono is a quality hotel.

We stumbled upon this restaurant for breakfast after our hot air balloon ride! It looks like this place is connected to a very nice hotel and the ambience is so classy, modern and clean. The staff were very friendly and professional which we appreciated. I noticed a lot of groups of girls coming in for a cute girls day brunch which made me want to come back and do so too! The food we ordered was good, I got the chilaquiles with chorizo. I can honestly say I've had better but it was still good overall! My husband got the braised brisket hash which he enjoyed! The portions were pretty big and we took left overs home. We also shared some breakfast fries which were seasoned with coriander, that was my first time having that seasoning on fries and it wasn't bad! I'd go back here again.

The fish tastes so fresh and their ikura is not overly salty and smaller than other ikuras i've had. The best part though i think is the seasoned rice. The rice is so flavorful yet doesn't take away from the fish. You don't need to add additional soy sauce or wasabi either. The caviar tasting is pretty cool. Feels like a good deal since you get to taste 6 different caviars. Another highlight is the oysters. I was a bit hesitant about ordering the oysters at $6ea but definitely don't skip on it. They use ichiban ousters from skagit bay and it was so creamy and light tasting. The yuzu mignonette went perfectly with it as well. One thing they do really well are their vegetables. Everything was so flavorful. I can just keep going on about how wonderful everything here is. The service is fast, we were just finishing up the bellinis from the caviar tasting and a new set of bellinis arrived at my table without having to ask for it. The interior and exterior are all so pretty and make you feel so relaxed. Definitely stop by for some great food! We were able to grab one of the last reservations of the evening, and after the short drive over, we were seated right at our 9:00 reservation time. From the moment we walked in, the hosts were warm and welcoming, and we knew we had made the right decision. One of the managers, Stephen, stopped by our table and welcomed us with complimentary glasses of Prosecco for the birthday celebration, which was such a thoughtful touch. Our server was attentive, friendly, and made sure we were taken care of throughout the evening. We started with the Pasta Fritta con Prosciutto--crispy, rosemary-scented pasta dough wrapped in prosciutto with mascarpone espuma, honey, and Parmigiano Reggiano. It was the perfect balance of savory and sweet. We also shared the Caesar Nero, made with little gem lettuce, black garlic, and Parmigiano crostini, which was fresh and flavorful. For cocktails, we both ordered the Porch Punch. Made with Redwood Empire Pipe Dream 101, yellow peach, oolong tea, lemon, vanilla, and clarified using the milk punch process, it tasted like a refreshing peach tea. The etched ice cubes with wine glasses and utensils were a small detail that made the presentation even more memorable. For our entrées, Face ordered the Salmon Risotto, while I had the Carbonara. The carbonara is topped with an activated charcoal Parmesan tuile, and while it looks dramatic, it doesn't change the flavor at all--it simply adds a beautiful presentation. The pasta was rich, creamy, and absolutely delicious. Bottega didn't just serve us an incredible meal--they rescued what could have been a very disappointing birthday dinner. The hospitality, service, and food were exceptional, and I'd happily make the drive back to Yountville again.
