I love the outdoor space, which includes many different seating options (picnic tables, Adirondack chairs) as well as heat lamps. There's definitely a surfboard and skateboard theme going on. We got ice cream and iced coffee on our two visits. The mint chocolate and raspberry sherbet were our favorites; I thought the pistachio was a little too fake. The rainbow sherbet was also fun. I was a little frustrated that on our second visit, there was obviously a line, and the person working there was chatting it up with a customer about Instagram handles, but I gotta keep my East Coast mode in check. read more

Me and my wife went here on Sunday because my wife was told by a coworker about it. I have driven by here several times over the years and never realized it was here. The selection of hot dogs and tots was amazing. I had the Reef without onions and my wife had the GhostTree. We both agreed they were amazing but my only issue is the chili is too salty. Loved the ambiance, the cozy design, the fact that they have so much live music (check out their calendar for scheduling), and their ice cream is VERY tasty. I think they offer a full menu of different preps of hot dogs, which we didn't get a chance to try. Has a niche skateboarder/surfer aesthetic, very friendly and laid back staff and servers. Found this place on our way biking the 17 mile drive trail and was STARVING! Lucy's was right near our bike rental place so it was an awesome place to stop right before returning out bikes. I loved the vibe of Lucy's and that they have both indoor and outdoor seating. We both ordered corn dogs since I think one of their fancy hot dogs would have been too much and too messy for us. 1. Corn dogs: Delicious and perfectly fried. Nice and crunchy on the outside and delicious hotdog on the inside. 2. Hibiscus tea: Very flavorful and freshly brewed. I liked that it wasn't that sweet because I didn't want to get a sugar overload right after my long bike ride. I just wanted something refreshing which is exactly what it was. Overall, loved this place. Loved the outdoor seating and the variety of menu options. Super close right off the 17 mile drive if you're driving along for the views or if you're also doing the long bike ride. read more

We came here because it was the only restaurant within walking distance of our hotel. Otherwise, we're not normally hot dog people. However, we were pleasantly surprised! They had lots of options including different types of sausages. The food was tasty but still quite heavy. We shared some tater tots which were decent. They have a selection of ice cream here as well, so we topped our meal off with a scoop! Staff were friendly and accommodating. I wish I had taken pictures of the food, but I was more focused on socializing our recently adopted shelter dog (pictured at AsilomarState Beach just a few blocks away), who was allowed on Lucy's outdoor patio. That being said, the atmosphere was fun, warm, and welcoming! The food was amazing, too! We shared an Asilomar dog and a Shove It. Plenty for two and absolutely delicious! The wine came in splits, of which we ordered a chardonnay and a pinot noir - a great quantity at a more than reasonable price. They were a bit busy, as they were hosting a special Army party on the patio, but that didn't affect the incredible hospitality. Though this was our first time at Lucy's, we were made to feel like regulars, friends even. The next time we're in the area, we'll definitely go back to Lucy's! read more

I visited your facility today 4/6 with my family of 8 people. Spending almost 200$. I ordered the dunes dog and unfortunately I wasn't a big fan of the chili after I had taken one bite. I took my meal to the lady at the cash register. I explained myself and apologized but I would like to change my order as I didn't like the dunes dog. I wanted to trade for a regular hot dog. She laughed in my face with a huge smirk and said yes but you will pay for another one. I asked kindly if she can makes things right and trade me for a regular hot dog. She said no I won't do that. I asked her again this is my first time here and I don't like my food will you please make things right: again she said no. I asked for the manger and she laughed again saying I am the manager. I highly doubt she is as her costumer service and hospitality skills are very poor. I would recommend so retraining of this staff member. Lucy's on Lighthouse is a family and dog friendly place. I loved the ambiance from the surf/beach vibe, to the fun 80's and 90's music. This is probably the best place to get a hot dog and there are so many choices. We really enjoyed their ice-cream, my kiddo loved her bubblegum ice-cream too. The service was excellent and everyone was really friendly. I also enjoyed a hot chia tea latte to warm-up. We visited Lucy's on Lighthouse twice during our visit to Pacific Grove. read more

Who knew about this place? I have lived here since 1995 and I never knew about this place. First off the decor is so beachy! Surf boards and surfing memorabilia everywhere. Seating inside and outside. I only came for the coffee and it was excellent. I am coming back for the corn dog. I am not a hot dog person and it all looked delicious! If you have a spicy tongue they have a lot of hot selections. I don't like spice and there is plenty for me too. I highly recommend this place. On my second time going to Lucy's I decided to try the Peaks hotdog, the blocker and the grom dog. Blocker- this side consists of mac n cheese and Tabasco onions. The pasta shells were al dente and their white cheese sauce was not too salty but perfectly seasoned. The addition of the Tabasco onions adds a satisfying crunch to each bite you take elevating the mac n cheese but keeping it simple at the same time. Peaks- both the kimchi and slaw were fresh, the pork had a nice char on some chunks and there was no fat found upon eating. And of course the cream cheese and lucys sauce were great. My only two complaints is the bun was not sturdy enough so you'll definitely end up using a fork at some point but this should be expected with gourmet loaded hotdogs. Also wish they put more lucys sauce. Grom Dog- for just being a regular corndog it still tastes better than ones you find at gas stations or your local frozen grocery store ones. read more

Nice little cafe not too far from the coast. We stopped here after visiting the monarch butterfly sanctuary and wanted something warm to drink before heading out and seeing the sunset on the beach. We got a hot chocolate. The inside of the cafe was nicely decorated with bright colors. They had skateboards mounted on the walls as decoration and other unique saying and art all around. The staff was friendly and the place was kept clean. I will definitely go back and try out other items or keep them as my go to place for a warm drink to enjoy near the cold Monterey coast.
