They also serve Philly cheesesteaks but they do not use cheese whiz, however, they are still excellent as are their subs. We always loved Luigi's but this time steak and cheese was awful. It was dry and salty, no Mayo, no lettuce or tomato , no onion and no cheese. When Val and his brother were there, the food was great. My son said he does go there anymore since kids took it over. My husband said never again. Growing up this was one of my favorite places, I mean this place meant something to me. I've worshipped the steak and cheese subs all my life. Unfortunately three of my last five visits have left me saying wtf. Two bad steak and cheese subs in a row. Just poorly made, until now it has always been consistent. I'm not sure what has changed. Also was served a very raw Sicilian pizza and when asking to have a new one made after it fell apart from them trying to put it back in the oven I was given a hard time. Two bad steak and cheese subs and a raw Sicilian pizza with lack of competence from employees to make it right lost a customer of 27 years. You could have just made a fresh pie guys. Great NY style thin crust pizza! and the portion is HUGE. Their small is like medium, and their Godfather is the biggest pizza I have ever seen. Consider yourself warned for the size! and order accordingly. We have a lot of left over but luckily we will have couple more days here. We have all kinds of pizza plus the chicken wings. All great! The only draw back is the long waiting time. It is 70 minutes for take out on Wednesday night during beach season so plan ahead! First visit on 10/14/2011 (late post) Dated (but clean) interior with a very friendly and courteous staff. Prices reasonable, portions generous, and our pepperoni w/green pepper pizza was very tasty. Lots of locals streaming in on a Friday evening to dine in and take out. We'll definitely come back again. read more

Ok. Pizza lover and picky pizza eater. I think this is only the second pizza place I have ever given 5 stars to. The Italian sub was what I was used to eating back in Pittsburgh. Absolutely perfect. The pizza is perfect. Not too thick, not too thin. The staff were extremely friendly and the prices are great. I could eat this pizza everyday. I am glad I don't live here in this area or I would. My only complaint is that they don't deliver. But, maybe that is what makes it even more special. Actually going there to eat it in a legit NY style pizza place. read more
