    General Tso's Chicken Combination Dinner

I have not been in a while but I got the chance to stop in for early dinner. The food is so good, consistently fresh and tasty. Always my recommendation if asked where is my favorite Chinese restaurant. The service always friendly and quick. The place hasn't changed much over the years but vibes like visiting old friends. If you have not tried it a must stop.

Some things have definitely changed since I was last at luke's, but they've still got quality Chinese food (and drinks) for a great price. Servers are very quick and attentive- very glad I visited again and will certainly be back

Service was supper fast. I ordered a PUPU platter , pork fried rice and moo goo gai pan. Spareribs were excellent, big with lots of meat and they were not dripping in that sweet red sauce. Chicken wings were coated in teriyaki sauce but were not super sweet or greasy. They were nice and crispy on the outside and juicy in the middle. The beef teriyaki was cooked really well, juicy with lots of flavor. Again not overly coated with teriyaki sauce. Wontons were super crispy and not greasy. Egg rolls had great girth but not great length. But they were nice and crispy not greasy and I loved their stuffing. The moo goo gai pan was also delicious, all the veggies were still vibrant in color, chicken was tender and the sauce had a great Subtle flavor . The scorpion bowl was a little small but tasted really good not too sweet. Fried shrimp and chicken wings were heavily battered but not greasy. I would definitely come back and not just for the food but for the service!

Service was good, just the right sized portions. Good food, not over cooked. The chicken was not dry at all.

One of those old school Chinese/Polynesian restaurants that you don't see any more, which is reason enough to go there. The food is delicious and if you're into tiki drinks, you're going to think you died and went to heaven.

    Szechuan Chicken Combo. Lousy

I have been coming here for years and honestly it has gone down hill the past several visits. We used to LOVE coming here but something has changed! Hubby and I decided to grab takeout and go eat by the water at Colt Park. Figured chinese would be a fun thing to bring. I started with wonton soup (delicious), hubby had hot and sour soup which he loved too. I had the chicken lo mein combination (serves with fried rice and mini egg roll). The lo mein had zero flavor, fried rice was just ok (had to put duck sauce on it to flavor it up) and the egg rolls were good, but really small. Hubby had the Szechuan Chicken combination and he disliked all of it aside from the small egg roll. He too said it was flavorless. Not sure what is going on here, but I hope they realize that they are going down hill and will likely lose a lot of repeat customers due to this.

Great food at a reasonable price!! Old time Polynesian restaurant. Highly recommend the chow main and the pu pu platter!

Great place to dine, quick service, always comes out piping hot. The duck sauce is to die for! Our go to for Chinese food.

It used to be great, now everything tastes old and dried out. I was hoping the last time I'd been there was a fluke. Apparently not :(

We were in awe of everything that came out--- the teapot, the baskets, the little touches on plates and drinks. It was all super unique and just special. You can tell every member of the Tong D staff has pride in Thai restaurant. I have not been here before, but I will certainly be back. This dish tasted exactly how I remembered it in some of my favorite Bangkok restaurants that I've been to over the years. I've been to SE Asia many times over the years and will keep going back because of the WOW factor. So, details... the noodles are cooked perfectly. It's soft, but still has a slight crunch to it. The tamarind flavor is bold, but not overpowering. The peanuts, sprouts, chives and all the other ingredients were in the perfect proportion. The shrimp is fresh, crispy externally and tender when you bite down on it. This is by far the best Shrimp Pad Thai that I've had in Rhode Island. If anyone has another suggestion, then please let me hear it! The Thai Iced coffee was also BOMB! A nice caffeine jolt, creamy and not overwhelmingly sweet. The ambiance is that of a casual restaurant, the staff are awesome - knowledgeable, quick and kind.
