There were only 2 ladies working there and they were clearly overwhelmed. They were rushing the job the entire time. The worst part is for my pedicure the woman who did my toes (Sue) DID NOT USE CLEAN TOOLS. I'm disgusted, she was using the same tools on every one of her customers feet not even cleaning them off. Normally at other salons they use alcohol to sanitize (spray your toes) and clean tools she didn't any of the sort. I'm so grossed out and I will NEVER come back to Lulu's nails again. Okay, I go here all the time. Sometimes I think, maybe I'll find something cheap like a groupon or a mani&pedi special somewhere else. But I'm afraid to skimp on quality. Its not worth it. So I go back to LuLu nails. I am always happy I go back to this place instead. Walking out a happy customer every time. Another prime example... I have had my nails, my real nails, painted and growing strong... no chipping! no breaking!... for over a month now!! Ok, so I'm giving this place four stars because when it comes to nails, I'm all about customer service. Of all the nail places I've been to, they're so nice here! Nail quality, I guess it depends on how busy they are and who you get. But that can be anywhere you go. I went the other day and it was a little busy. I got someone who normally does a good job but that night was horrible. I got gel on my natural nails and the nail polish was wet for like a month. The top layer was dry but you could see the wet nail polish underneath moving around. So nasty! Haha! I didn't go back to get them fixed or complain because they're so nice and my nails grow out so fast anyways. I would definitely recommend this place though because overall, it's a good experience. Im not sure if it was the language barrier but I asked for acrylic nails from the very beginning. The attendant kept insisting on doing the dipping. She had a sharp corner of her nail kind of small to medium size on her thumb that kept on hurting me. Plus, I got little cuts with the nail filer under the nail. Every other visit, I add the callus treatment to my pedi since I wear sandals so much...it's definitely worth it! It's hit or miss when they are busy. I called Lulu nails to see if they were available to do a regular manicure and was told to come at 2:00 PM. I got there on time and was told they were a little behind. I ended up waiting 35 mins only to get a rushed job that took a total of 10 mins. She didn't even fully remove my old regular polish , push my cuticles, or trim the cuticle skin around my nails. She used 3 coats since the polish was sheer, but waited no time in between coats which made it turn out bubbly, messy, and spilling over the sides onto my skin. This was the most disappointing experience and waste of time and money. It was bad enough for the long wait, but giving no care or attention during my rushed service was unacceptable. 2 stars since the lady was apologetic, but still does not justify the lack of attention. read more

A few days after my last visit I noticed that even though I got the clear gel on top of the polish to prevent rubbing or chipping from typing, the polish on my nails has begun to rub off at the tips. Why, you might ask... Well, because the person who did my nails did not properly apply the gel. Most places put the gel on the WHOLE nail. Not this place. I went out into the sun and you can clearly see where the gel was and wasn't applied. I'm so pissed that I paid extra for a service that was done so badly. This is the first time I leave a review on a company, this is how upset I am. I went in to get deep French acrylic nails, I even showed a picture of what I wanted to the lady. When it was time to start doing the French tips design, the lady that was doing my nails was trying to convince me to do the regular French tip nails, but I already had my expectations of what I wanted before I walked in. She said it was going to be $15 extra for the deep French tip nails and I told her that I was fine with it and she then said that it was going to take longer to do them. If you work for a nail salon, you shouldn't have to be worry about if it's going to take long or not the customer is paying for it. I just told her to leave my nails with no design. I was so upset because I got my nails done for a special occasion but they couldn't do something simple, something that I had showed them in picture before they started doing my nails. If they didn't know how to do them they should've been honest with me and told me at the beginning. At first I liked the new owners they seemed to want to win over their customers but with each passing month I noticed their customer service was getting worse and worse. Their customer service is terrible! The male that works here is rude and rushes every service he does. For the price of a gel manicure and pedicure I expect the work to be up to par. The young girl with the glasses that works here is phenomenal, unfortunately she wasn't available which I why I got him. Every service I have gotten from him has been bad and rushed. He cuts the nails and removes some dead skin and that's it. He doesn't ask if you have any pain or problem areas.He doesn't use that hook tool and remove all the dead skin. He barely files and then goes into scrubbing the foot. I express my concerns and let him know I would like him to get that dead skin out and he doesn't even know what he's doing. I'd rather not have someone digging around in my feet when they don't have a clue about what they're doing. Overall I'm very disappointed in the quality of my service. read more

The customer service there was horrible and they were so rude with me and my friends when we were deciding on the colors and they were talking in there language and giving us dirty looks the whole time.
